Thankyou for the opportunity to judge your dogs, unfortunately ring conditions did affect the movement of some, overall I found the quality to be superb & despite the adverse weather outside I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Thankyou to my steward who was a total star.
Gsp P(3) 1.Russell De Clifford's Lagopusmoor Arawn, 7mth blk dog, a little raw as you would expect at this age, head of pleasing props & developing nicely, adequate stop & defined brows over dark eyes with a soft expression, strong neck into well placed shoulders, enough depth for a youngster, good length to upperarm, ribs well sprung, adequate hind angulation, won the class with his efficient movement, true coming & going really collected for a baby. BP. 2.Peebles’ Seasham Too Much Heaven, 6.5mth l/w bitch, such a sweetie & has a lot to like, pretty head & expression, not quite the upperarm of 1 but this could change, shoulders well back, strong topline, good depth throughout, moved out happily, just preferred the strength of 1’s hind action. 3.Sutton’s Kensesqui Rockrose Roll. PG(3,1) 1.Powell’s Newtonbriar Pure Bliss, eye-catching bitch who has a well balanced, pleasing outline, loved her head & soft expression, clean strong neck into well placed shoulders, good depth to chest, well boned standing on super feet, in fit condition moved how her construction suggested covering the ground effortlessly with a true footfall, RBOB. 2.Russell’s Fraulynzway Hayley’s Comet, built on a larger frame than 1 but still feminine & lots to like, typical head on this girl, kind dark eye, overall pleasing proportions, balanced angles throughout covered the ground well but preferred 1’s more positive front action. O(1) 1.Russell’s Fraulynzway Lightening Bolt JW, my initial notes say Wow, loved this boy, masculine with such a handsome head, ears wellset & intelligent kind dark eye, strong clean neck, shoulders well back, good spring of rib, lovely topline & well muscled throughout, moved with power & precision, driving from his strong quarters. BOB.
Cocker Sp P(1) 1.Heard’s Albertean Aletheia 8mth b/r bitch with a pretty typical head, lowset ears & a cheeky sweet expression, liked her for her overall props & construction, well balanced & good depth, coat coming & of pleasing texture, really enjoyed her day despite the awful conditions, showing that true cocker personality BP & RBOB. PG(2) 1.Hutchison’s Kasordon Maid Of Fire b/t bitch who is maturing nicely, good over skull, adequate stop, kind soft expression, good length of upperarm super depth & bone, well angulated hindquarters moved out merrily & true but not quite the topline of my BOB & RBOB. 2.Quarry’s Golden Sky Delight, g bitch, another with a sweet kind eye, goid substance & depth throughout, little longer cast than 1, pleasing over shoulders, well turned stifles, moved out happily & true holding her topline. O(1) 1.Green & Brain’s Cachel Pop The Question to Meloneras JW eye-catching b/r mature bitch, feminine with a well chiselled pretty head, lovely dark eye with a melting expression, pleasing front assembly & depth of chest, ribs well sprung & short strong loin, well turned stifle, in super coat & condition, moved accurately with that super merry action you expect of a cocker BOB.
Pointer P(1) 1.Bleathman’s Tolena’s Peony Polly for Wynbury 9mth attractive bitch, head developing well, lovely dark eye with sweet expression, excelled in shoulder placement & upperarm, pleasing depth for a youngster, ribs well back, strong topline & adequate hind angulation, moved efficiently looking a picture in profile, just a little erratic coming at the moment but the ground didn’t help, I’ve no doubt she will improve with time. BP. PG(4) 1.Hill’s Kanix Sourdough with Calaquendi (Bel jch) loved his head, so typical & masculine but no coarseness, clean, strong neck, shoulders well back, good length & return of upperarm, super bone, well balanced throughout with clean powerful outline, strong topline, his fitness showed on the move, accurate coming & going keeping that amazing topline, pulled out all the stops in the challenge to take BOB. 2.Matthew’s Sonham C’est La Vie, sound bitch, her head & expression melted me, adequate substance, balanced outline, good angles fore & aft, pleasing depth of forechest, well muscled, moved true, lashing her tail. 3 Klaiber’s Sharnphilly Gingerbread. L(3,1) 1.Repeat pg. 2.Klaiber’s Hawkfield Scandalous good pigment on this pretty headed girl, lovely over skull & pleasing earset, clean over neck & shoulders, liked her depth, stands on the best feet, so tight; in hard condition throughout, carries a good topline front action not quite as positive as 1 today. 3.Watkins’ Lakewinds Benchmark (Imp Aus). O(1) 1.Matthews’ Sonham Raising The Game JW impressive mature dog in fit hard condition, handsome typical head with a hint of cheekiness in his expression, so balanced throughout with plenty of heartroom & depth, angulation for & aft are well matched, moved out efficiently with long strong stride, in the challenge he wasn’t as positive coming as my BOB but could be due to the sticky ring surface, still deserved RBOB.
HV P(6,1) 1.Gregory’s Sevensden Autumnal Gold 6mth baby, on my 1st look round she didn’t particularly stand out but on further inspection & watching her move she really impressed, sweet expression on a head that is developing nicely, excellent shoulders & return of upperarm, good depth throughout & adequate spring of rib for her age, plenty of body & well boned, stood on super feet, moved out so true with such a tidy footfall for a baby, holding a pleasing topline, coping well with the ring conditions BP. 2.Miles & Watkins’ Kincsem Break Every Rule, such a handsome head on this eye-catching 10 mth dog, very similar qualities to 1 & pushed her hard, he’s in fabulous condition & looks a picture stood, has a strong easy stride but unfortunately didn’t cope with the ring conditions as well. 3.Harper’s Pitswarren Jambo. L(3,1) 1.Coombe’s Amarantos Bellaria at Castlefield attractive med szd bitch who is well put together, typical head with sweet expression, adequate stop & depth of flew, strong neck, pleasing shoulder placement, well ribbed, good turn of stifle on strong quarters, close dark jacket, has a long fluid stride with a true front action RBOB. 2.Reakes’ Vizslanya Varur with Thrihyrne JW upstanding mature dog in superfit condition, impressive masculine head, well balanced throughout, with goid depth & angulation, moved with power & drive but was a little erratic possibly due to owner running between rings. O(1) 1.Gregory’s Nevedith Nyari Breeze, moderately szd balanced bitch who is feminine but has substance & strength, typical head & expression, nice arch to strong neck, her front assembly is text book, ribs well back, short loin, muscular hindquarters with pleasing angulation, lovely reach & drive on the move, carrying a lovely topline, pleased to award her BOB.
HWV P & PG(1) 1.Reed’s Cuffnell’s Sweet Dreams at nearly 12mth this upstanding bitch has lovely furnishings to her well proportioned head & such a cheeky expression, adequate length to neck, shoulders well back & front legs placed well under, good spring & length to rib cage, good depth throughout, good angulation & strength to rear, she was presented with super crisp jacket which was a lovely rich russet, moved steady for a youngster with accurate, efficient footfall. BP, BOB.
Whippets P(8,2) A super class of babies, spoilt for choice, conditions affecting some more than others 1.Allansson & Mcdonald’s Zoraden Simply The Zest of Macalldon 8mth boy with an attractive lean head that is developing well, long clean neck into shoulders that are well placed, pleasing depth to forechest & brisket, well sprung ribs, lovely clean lines throughout with elegant curves, strong hindquarters which he used well on the move, balanced with low, long reaching front action, the adverse ring conditions didn’t bother him at all BP & HPgrp 3. 2.Powell, Mycroft & Mycroft’s Supeta’s Jammie Dodger for Almakaeala at just 6mths this boy is exquisite, attractive typical head with innocent expression, good depth for his age, good shoulder placement & return of upperarm, the curves of his topline & underline are well matched, balanced throughout, on the move he pushed well from good quarters, holding a curvy topline, just not the positive front action of 1, it was obvious he didn’t like the sticky ring surface. 3.Kenyon’s Doddridge It Wasn’t Me. PG(3) 1.Tristram’s Pagarni’s Princess Elsa ultra feminine bitch who is just coming into her own, so typical in head, dark expressive eyes & so pretty, super front assembly & strong quarters with adequate turn of stifle, lovely depth & so curvy, balanced throughout, sound easy mover holding her curves, didn’t seem overly happy stood but her super movement gave her this class & RBOB. 2.Arkell’s Hijacked Of Suriya(imp deu) young dog who has a lot of qualities, classic head with kind, gentle eye, well put together & balanced, in superfit condition & moved efficiently with a good stride just not the forehand of 1. 3.Steel’s Natrah Potters Magic. L(8,5) 1.Cockwell’s Shelsue Tullibardine attractive bitch with a feminine pretty head, good earset, loved her shape & curvy underline, pleasing front assembly with well placed shoulders & adequate upperarm & depth, strong quarters which she used to advantage on the move, won the class on her more accurate footfall. 2.Steel’s Tigsisle Time After Time attractive expression on this boy, head is so typical, strong, clean neckline, not quite the forechest of 1, he has a lovely clean curvy outline, good turn of stifle, well muscled, moved out steadily. 3.Arkell’s Chikara Iz Doma Proninykh. O(4,1) 1.Woodward’s Bryntreia Whispered Love at Palmik JW she paints an attractive picture, balanced throughout she’s a pretty headed bitch with lovely soft expression, pleasing shoulder placement & decent return of upperarm, powerful quarters with good hind angulation, so curvy & feminine yet has substance & strength, stands on super tidy feet, moved out efficiently covering the ground well, holding that typical whippet shape, such a showgirl pulled out all the stops to take BOB pleased to hear she took Hgrp 2 later in the day. 2.Shepherd’s Kidaruka It’s Showtime at Oxana JW masculine boy who has an attractive head & expression with strong under jaw, well boned with good depth all through, well ribbed, curvy underline, matched by typical topline, balanced angles fore & aft, just didn’t like the ring surface & insisted on intermittent impressions of a kangaroo on the move, saw enough to see that he could move like a whippet should in-between the hops. 3.Baulch’s Erinnis Mignonette.
