I would firstly like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge terrier breeds at their Open show and thank you to all exhibitors that took part with their dogs 

Floor conditions of hall where on the slippy slide side so a full picture of movement couldn't quite be fully judged to best effect in some cases. Overall fitness of dogs were good, with good bites 



Jack Russell Puppy (4.0) 1 McCluskey & Young -Chadbrook Arran - 6 month male, Moderate in head with small dark eyes, medium body, good lay of shoulder, presented in good coat, moved well with a happy attitude2. Clayton - Northdrum Highland Gold - Anther promising puppy, shown in fit conditions and coat - could do a days work, good set on tail 3. Jackman’s -Navigareamor Storm Gerrit

PG (4.0) 1. Clayton - Undiscussed With Russtyle’s Du Vallon De L’alba Northdrum - Pleasing head with keen expression & furnishings, handled the floor conditions with ease, overall balanced appearance, good bend of stifle in fit for function condition. BOB & BPIS pleased to see she went on to win both adult and puppy group 2. Galloways - Navigareamors Platinum Posh - Well bodied, turned out in exellent condition with correct coat texture, moved well showing good front angulation on the move. 3. Jackmens - Navigareamor Jack Be Quick


Open (3.0) 1. Clayton - Northdrum Happy Feet - Well constructed overall, presenting a nice outline and held top line on the move, showing a keen enjoyment on the move, Fit for function.

 2. McCluskey & Young Totgrees Hendrik To Chadbrook - Another well porportioned and overall balanced dog, flat in skull with good ear set and ears carried well, correct angulation front and rear. 3. Galloway - Navigareamor To Nutkns Tail


Parson Russel Open (1.0) 1. McCluskey & Young - Chadbrook Elka VW - Veteran Not showing her age with a brilliant muscled physique, overall balanced with good topline very easily spannable, Keen expression, tail never stopped, moved with purpose BOB


Border Terrier PG (1.0) 1. McCluskey & Young - Chadbrook Astrid - Good in head with a nicely made front assembly, deep in body while being easily spannable, carrot like tail, moved out well using good rear construction. BOB

Open (1.0) 1 Macgregor - Chadbrook Torsten - Well grown dog, presented in good hard condition with a great coat. used his construction to best advantage on the move.


Bull Terrier Mini Open (2.1) 1 Farmer and Stephens - Seayess Tartan Memory - Flashy brindle of good solid condition, wasn’t keen on the floor condition today but still showed good ability on the move, good strong head with dark eye. BOB


West Highland White Terrrier Open (2.2)


Cairn Terrier Open (4.2) 1. Lamb & Saltmarsh - Tycadno Shining Star Around Macmoon - A very promising puppy dog with quality and attitude to match. Very pleasing in head with mischievous look with good ear set, well set on neck leading to well placed shoulder, moves for fun using his well made rear. BOB BPIB

2. Lamb & Saltmarsh Birselaw Come Dancing with Macmoon OSSW JW SHCEX SHCM - Veteran not resembling age, in excellent condition, with good spring of rib and good solid lion, hocks well let down, moved with ease.


Skye Terrier Open (2.1) 1. Pringle - CH Esgia The Exciseman SHC EX - Mature male in tremendous order. Level topline held when stood and on the move with short loin, free moving using strong muscled backend, in excellent coat. BOB


Airedale Terrier Open (3.1) 1. Graham - Shadlian Heavens dream At Thistleaire JW - Well grown B in good dense coat, shoulders well laid back, good compact feet with well maintained nails, good drive from behind was shown on the move. BOB

 2. Duncan - Muliebrity Touch Of Gold - A young lady just learning the ropes, clean moderate neck heading to a very nicely constructed front assembly, deep in chest, strong lion, nice rear angulation moved out well, very promising


Scottish Terrier Open (2.0) 1. McNiven - Frazandmitch Top Of The Game Dajavel - Substantial Male square throughout, with good dense coat, well set on tail in moderate length moved freely. BOB

2. McNiven - Frazandmitch All Eyes On Me Dajavel - litter sister to 1, good in head and furnishings and distinct stop, moved with ease.


Fox Terriers (Smooth) Open 1. Anderson, Watt And Quiggs Ch Kajsenborg’s Hypa Hypa As Fox At Nisyros - Young male showing balance along with a keen expression, dark eyes, small ears close to cheek, clean in neck fixed into a good lay of shoulder, dense coat, moved with drive and agility. BOB

2. Henderson - Thunderclap Maccoist At Finleric another youngster shown in good fit condition, looked like he could go all day long working with a well carried tail, nice compact feet. 3.Henderson - Finleric Snow Quartz


Staffordshire Bull Terrier Open (7.3) 1. Sinclair & Hayward - Glenskyra Lomond Lad - This young Man caught my eye on the initial walk round. Pleasing broad head , with dark eye with melting expression, in peak condition, level topline and deep in brisket, moved effortlessly with good drive, was pleased to award him BOB was later told this win gave him his last point for his JW

2. Nelson - Tagstane Worth The Wait - Mature male in good overall condition , short coupled with good spring of rib, short coat, tidy neat feet, moved well.

3. Baird - Jazzelstaff Crimble


Manchester Terrier Open (1.0) 1 Rudd - Digelsa Dark Velvet - mature B that moved with ease, sweet head with good front assembly, nice feet , for a small dog was in a lovely fit condition, just need more confidence on the table. Nice markings.
