British Manchester Terrier Club

British Manchester Terrier Club Limit Show

Sunday 16th June 2024

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at their limit show

Thanks to my steward and chairperson who did a fantastic job

Overall, a wonderful entry of Manchester Terriers at this well-run show, displaying the epitome of the breed standard, great colour, and markings in all dogs across the classes. All showing good health, condition, and temperament especially on the table which can be a challenge in a breezy outdoor environment. Would like to thank you all for your entries and good nature shown by all in my decisions on the day.

Class 2 Beginners dog (1/1)

A good sized dog, with nice wedge head, good markings and colours. Settled yet playful on the table, move around the ring well would like to see a bit more drive

Class 3 Tyro dog (3/3)

1st Earle, Mr R. Rattustrap Beer Humbug

A 19 month old dog, my first view of him was well muscled and looking of good tone, nice wedge head, coat close and smooth. Markings well defined. Moved well around the ring and showed more drive today than the other dogs

Class 6 Veteran Dog (2/2)

1st Gregory, Mrs J, Talanors Diamond Trickster

At just over 7.5 years old, this dog is showing no signs of aging, his marking are still vivid belying his age. Wedge head and nice ear set and carry, well held topline. Nice proportions to his body, enabling him to move around the ring well giving him the edge of the 2nd place dog

Awarded BD and BV

2nd Walker, Mrs L, Eaglespur Marcus Maximus

A slightly older of dog of 9.5 years, but still in good condition. A lot still to love about him, marking fading and going grey gracefully but are still visible in the correct locations. Happy on the move around the ring and gave the 1st place a good run for his win today
