Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Post Graduate (3 entered, 2 absent)

1st Black, Black & McKinlay’s Asharaa Stars In Your Eyes At Gileeja JW. Nice head. Good reach of neck flowing into good lay of shoulder. Good topline and depth of ribbing. Excellent rear quarters. Kept a lovely outline on the move. BOB & G3.

Open (8, 6)

1st Scanlon’s Kinabula’s All About The Bass JW SHCEX OSW. Nice head, good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Nice topline and depth of ribbing. Rear quarters more angulated than fore but she put this to use on the move excelling in drive.

2nd Black, Black & McKinlay’s Rottzridge Perihelion At Gileeja. Not the fore and rear angulation of 1 but a sound, balanced dog. A little taller and finer than 1. Moved well keeping a nice outline.

Afghan Hounds

1st French’s Sitana Moon Knight At Zalmeerah. Nice dog of 22 months. Good head and reach of neck, good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good firm topline which he kept on the move. Rear quarters balanced with fore. Moved with reach and drive. BOB

2nd Moyes & Lockett-Davies /Shaw/Hunter Ryan’s Rahzmakh Heart O’Summer By Bryelis JW. Femine bitch of 15 Months. Elegant head and reach of neck. Good lay of shoulder. Nice topline and depth of ribbing. Lovely rear angulation which she used well on the move. Not the reach in front of 1 on the move.

Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit)

1st Brown & Brown’s Ir Ch Erylan Chaud Comme Hades. 4 year old male. Very masculine. Nice head. Decent lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good firm topline. Would prefer more angulation in the rear. Moved well. BOB & G4

1st Phillips’ Luachmhar Jamilah. Beautiful bitch oozing in quality catching my eye as soon as she came into the ring. Elegant head and neck. Lovely lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Lovely topline and depth of ribbing. Super rear angulation. Balanced and sound mover with excellent reach and drive. Kept a beautiful outline at all times. BOB & G1

2nd Simpson’s Zxylasahlaam Gea’rr. Nice head and neck. Good topline and ribbing. Balanced but would prefer more angulation fore and rear. Not as fluid on the move as 1.

Borzoi

Open (3,1)

1st Dollan & Ralston’s Scotach High And Mighty. Nice head and reach of neck. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good topline and well angulated rear. Moved well with good reach and drive. BOB & G2

2nd Dollan & Ralston’s Scotach Need For Speed. Good head and reach of neck. Decent lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Topline fell away too sharp. Not the movement of 1.

Whippet

Junior (4,0)

1st Brough’s Crosscop Call Me Maybe Limubox. Raw baby but his outline caught my eye. Lovely head and elegant reach of neck. Correct topline and good depth of ribbing. Lovely rear quarters. Playful on the move but showed correct daisy cutting action and good drive.

2nd Burton’s Ballenbreich Harris. Good head and reach of neck. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Nice topline with decent arch over the loin. A little over angulated behind. Moved well.

3rd Finch’s Zenobia Love Actually. Noted that this bitch was a lovely size and excelled in movement, however would prefer more arch over the loin to complete the outline.

Post Graduate (3,0)

1st Salmond’s Sacagawea Jues Maxamillion, Nice head and reach of neck. Good lay of shoulder. Nice topline and depth of ribbing. Well angulated in rear quarters. Moved well.

2nd Robertson & McVey’s Zigouse Fly Me To The Moon Via Kastrach. Nice outline on the stack and move. Well angulated rear. Moved well. Would prefer more angulation in front.

1st Hunter’s Collooney Was Meant To Be At Sulahmara JW. Nice head and good reach of neck. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm with balanced well angulated rear quarters. Good outline on the move and stack. BOB

2nd Arnold’s Ubald Urbgenius Synergy (Imp Pol). Nice head and reach of neck, well angulated fore quarters, good topline and underline. Would prefer a little less angulation in the rear.

1st Anderson & Watt’s Shantallah Song Of The Lark By Nisyros (Dachshund Min Smooth). Nice neat bitch of good size. Good head and reach of neck. Well angulated and balanced fore and rear quarters. Correct outline on the stack and move.

2nd Brown & Brown’s Claela Sweet Dreams (Basset Griffon Vendeen – Grand) Masculine 13 month old. Good head and reach of neck. Well angulated fore and rear quarters. Good topline and depth of ribbing. A little unsure of himself today.

3rd Anderson & Watt’s Nisyros Sergio (Dachshund Min Smooth).

2nd Finlay Kirkwood & Finlay Kirkwood’s Marisk Miss Kay Jay (Dachsund Min Smooth). Good head and decent length of neck. Good lay of shoulder and firm topline. Would prefer a little more length of upper arm and second thigh. Moved well when she settled herself.

1st Christie & Christie’s Cloudside Valentino At Decalleigh (Dachshund Wire Haired). Lovely elegant dog of good size. Nice head and reach of neck. Balanced and well angulated fore and rear quarters. Moved with reach and drive.

2nd Leitch’s Silvabrin Orby Of Sacagawea (Whippet) Nice head and reach of neck. Decent lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good overall outline. Well angulated rear. Moved well.
