I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their show and the exhibitors for their entries, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to go over your dogs.

English Setter Puppy (4,0abs)

1st Skeggs-Gooch’s Nellasett Velvet Brown, 11 months Tri Bitch. Lovely head with a melting expression and dark eye. Excellent angulations fore and aft. Good bone for age, with tight feet. Moved round the ring with ease, which won her the class. In wonderful coat and condition. Promising puppy, will watch her career with interest BP

2nd Oliver’s Wansleydale Bee Happy at Bramstorm, 7 months Tri Bitch. Another lovely puppy. She has the most beautiful head, and expressive eyes. Long neck into shoulders well set back. Excellent rear angulation, which allowed her to move with drive once settled. A little worried today, however showed a lot of potential, just needs to build in confidence.

Excellent head proportions, with a melting expression. Long lean neck, leading into well angulated shoulders. Elbows well tucked in. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Excelled in rear angulation, with stifles well bent and tight feet. Moved round the ring with precision and drive, with a free and graceful action. Level tail set, which she held on the move. I will watch her career with interest BOB
