Utility Group

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the utility group, I had a nice selection of dogs to choose from. Ultimately, I found my winner in the Std Poodle Mcloughlin Villanders Lemona Woman of Zantescwtch JW, Group 2 and a close decision was the Korean Jindo Cunningham Hr Ch Yulyeong Rock Dee Jay, Group 3 the Chow Chow Webb Chifido Follow The Dream and Group 4 went to the Shih Tzu Salt Keola Driving Force.

My Puppy Group winner was the French Bulldog Conway and Chapman Khanin Dark Delicious From Norcairn, this 7 month old bitch caught my eye for her shape and breed type, she is cobby with balance, nice size and bone. moved soundly and shows lots of promise, Puppy Group 2 was the Kooikerhondje Davies Twybrook Barenhauter, a 6 month old male who presented a nice shape on the stack, good head with almond shaped eye, balanced angulation and moved true, Puppy Group 3 went to the Std Poodle Mcloughlin Zanteschwtch Jack of Hearts and Puppy Group 4 to the Schipperke Hood Django Alpha Nero With Arathorn.

1. Robbins Hensman Salvadorada Honolulu Honey at Parlouise, bitch, won the class on her shape, good head and eye, scissor bite, high set ears, level back, deep chest, moderate angulation front and rear, showed freedom of movement. RBOB.

2. Pace Sadiedel’s Arab Girl, 9 month puppy bitch, good head and oval eye, moderate length of neck into shoulder, level topline, balanced moderate angulation, moved well in a small ring, BPIB.

1. Finlay Dvojica Excuse My French At Dalfin JW, bitch who stood out in this entry, good head and oval shaped eye, scissor bite, good length of neck into shoulder, level topline, good depth and spring of rib, moderate balanced angulation, tail of correct length, moved with long strides. BOB.

1. Keepence & Keyte Oldcharm Peaky Love For Alandobel JW, gold male in good coat, masculine head and dark eye, ears set fairly high, moderate length of neck, deep chest, back level, high set tail, correct body proportions, free and straight mover. BOB

Puppy (2)

1. Mcloughlin Zanteschwtch Jack of Hearts, Std Poodle, masculine 10 month male, good head and dark eye, good length of neck into shoulder, balanced angulation and body proportions, deep chest, tight feet, presented well, moved with plenty of drive. BPAVNSC.

2. Cherry Shanandi Leonardo, Min Poodle, another promising puppy and was a close decision, good head and eye, balanced angulation, presented well, moved with plenty of drive, just preferred the front angulation on the winner.

Junior (3)

1. Denby & Webb Prada Golden Age of King For Chifido (imp), Shar Pei, such a little showgirl who ensured I knew she was there, square in appearance, relatively large balanced head, slightly padded head, dark eye, small triangular ear, moderate length of neck, deep chest, balanced angulation, free on the move. RBAVNSC.

2. Kaye, Bryne & Barclay Nizzana Dammit Jim, Caanan Dog, took a while to settle but got there in the end, he presented a nice shape on the stack, medium size and balanced proportions, good head with dark eye, medium length of neck into shoulder, level back, deep chest, high set tail, covered the ground on the move.

1. Cherry Arrowflight Aristicrat With Shanandi, Min Poodle, male, good head and eye, low set ears, good length of neck into shoulder, moderate balanced angulation front and rear, deep chest, short back, tight feet, sound on the move.

Mcloughlin Villanders Lemona Woman of Zantescwtch JW, feminine Std Poodle bitch, well balanced all through, presented a lovely shape on the stack, nice head with chiselling and dark almond eye, low set ears, scissor bite, good length of neck into balanced angulation front and rear, deep chest, back short, well bent stifles, tight oval feet, free on the move covering the ground. 2. Guy Wynele Trooping The Colour, Boston Terrier, skull flat and broad, dark eye, scissor bite, small thick ears, moderate length of neck, chest broad and deep, small round feet, straight gaited movement.

Cunningham Hr Ch Yulyeong Rock Dee Jay, Korean Jindo, I was really taken by this male, medium in size, balanced all through, keen expression, good head in proportion to his body, small dark eye, scissor bite, triangular erect ears, medium length of neck into shoulders, correct body proportions and moderate angulations, back level, cat like feet, tail set on high, covered the ground on the move with head held high.
