Cumnock and district CC 12/05/24 Hounds. 

 Whippet 

Junior. (2) 1. Christie’s, Mossbawnhill chasing it all for Zigouse, 6 1/2 months fawn brindle dog, lean head, bright expression, arched neck, good depth of brisket, BP. PG3. 

2. Hutchinson’s, Zenobia just an illusion with sweetaurora, 12 1/2 months fawn and white, lovely dark eye, rose ears, arched neck, good depth of brisket, preferred his hind movement but he was a little nervous being handled which cost him the class. 

 PG (1) 1, Christie’s, Zigouse about a girl, brindle girl of 22 months. Pretty head with dark eye and small neat ears, arched neck into sloping shoulders, needs to tighten in rear movement but I’m sure that will come.  

Open (5) 1, Hunter’s, Collooney was meant to be at sulahmara. brindle 3 year old male, masculine head, dark eye and pigmentation, arched neck into sloping shoulders, good depth of brisket, great hind angulation. Best mover here. BOB and Hound Group 1. 

2, Webb’s, Crosscop shadow dancing, 6 yr old fawn brindle dog of good type, dark eye, neat ears, lovely topline, great hind angulation, unlucky to meet 1. 3, Searle and Rawlinson’s, Reffton Tibalt at whipsearle jw (imp Esp). 

 Rhodesian Ridgeback 

 Junior (2) 1, Mulholland and Cunningham’s, Walamadengie heart throb, 10 1/2 months old dog. Very much to my taste. Masculine head, flat skull, dark eyes, long neck, well sprung ribs, good turn of stifle, moved well for one so young, BP, BOB PG1 and G4 

2, Ritchie’s, Jimanns hell on wheels, 16 mths, pretty girl, feminine head, correct topline, good hind angulation.

 Open (7,4abs) 1, Scanlon’s, Kinabulas all about the bass jw shcex osw. 7 yr old light wheaten girl, good head and eye, sloping shoulders, correct topline, excellent hind angulation, moved well.

 2, Bowers, Celtic lore’s golden archer at Lyonglen, (imp USA). Amber eyes in keeping with her brown nose. Arched neck, into sloping shoulders, good bone, correct topline, great hind angulation, moved well. 

3, Hall’s, Msingi all about me of Cynami. 

 Beagle 

Open (3,1). Dean’s, Ch. Gempeni Cornflower SHCEX, beautiful 5 year old girl, feminine head, well laid back shoulders, well sprung ribs, level topline, lovely mover, BOB and G3 

 Deerhound 

Open (2,1). 1, Clabby’s, Humbiehounds jazz it up. 20 mths girl, pleasing head with dark eye, strong neck, well laid shoulders, great hindquarters and one of the best movers I’ve seen in the breed for some time. Very promising. BOB 

 Afghan Hound 

 Open (1), Thomson’s, Light by the silvery moon, 2 yr old gold male, masculine head with dark eye, strong neck, well laid shoulders, correct topline, well angulated behind, I thought he would be my group winner but his enthusiasm for his mum made his movement a bit erratic. BOB 

 PBGV 

Open (1), Gilluley and Allen’s, Ballemcrieff jingle belle, 3 yr old girl, pleasing head with dark eye, long strong neck, level topline, hind movement a little close. BOB 

 AV Hound NSC 

PG (4,1). 1, Balfour’s, Clentry mango passion, red std smth Dachs, 2 yr old very pretty girl I liked a lot, feminine head with dark eye, muscular neck, deep keel, level topline kept on the move, BNSC and G2. 

2, Maxwell and Chalmers, Pettigans voulez vous, bl and tan L/H std Dachs, good head and expression, long neck, deep keel, level topline. Just needs to tighten in rear movement, BPMSC and PG2 

3, Bowers, Sasilasy edge of chaos at Lyonglen, Basset Hound. 

 Open (2). 1, Balfour’s, Clentry mickey mania, 5 yr old red std S/H dachs girl, classic head, long neck, good depth of keel, level topline held on the move, strong hindquarters. 

 2, Simpson’s, Zxylasahlaam Gea’rr, cream saluki male, good head with dark eye, long neck, deep brisket, moved a little stiffly. 

 AV Hound 

 Junior. (3,1).1, M chasing it all for Z 2, S edge of chaos at L, 6 mths tri Basset Hound, good head with dark eye, still just a baby, well angulated hindquarters, moved better here than in previous class. 

 Veteran, (7,2). 1, Gilluley’s, Caldewriver legally blonde of Ballemcrieff, PBGV 7 1/2 yr old girl o/w, very sprightly mover, good head and eye, low set ears, laid back shoulders, well let down ribs, good bend of stifle, I liked her. 

2, Searle’s, Quicksilver he’s the one for Whipsearle, 8yr old fawn brindle whippet, very pretty feminine girl, arched neck, sloping shoulders, great depth of brisket and well angulated behind. 

3, Crosscop somebody to love, whippet.
