Cocker Spaniels:

PD/B (3, 2) 1 Mason’s Lynshow Kilda, later was my Res. Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed – 9 month old, balanced young dog. Correct head and expression. Well padded, cat-like feet both front and rear with enough bone. Correct angulations and coat texture. Moved merrily around the ring with correct tail action. Needs more maturing of course. A very promising pup.

LD/B (3, 1) 1 Furzer’s Durham Blue, later my Best of Breed – A 4-year-old male of good size, shape and proportions. Good bone and substance. Lovely head and expression, very strong and compact body with ribs well sprung and a nice level topline that he carried nicely around the ring with a lively tail action.

2 Mason’s Lynshow Novna – A 3-year-old female with a correct overall body of good bone. Typical feminine head and expression and correct topline. Feet well padded, correct angles and bend of stifles. She also moved very well around the ring with a merry tail action. Just think she needs a better and fuller coat.

OD/B (1, 1) - Absent

Irish Setters:

GD/B (3, 2) 1 Tupper & Rosie’s Alolfrana’s WelshCrusader, later was my Res. Best of Breed – A 13-month-old male of good size and proportions with a correct head and expression. Needs more maturing of course but unfortunately, on the day he was reluctant when moving round the ring and it was probably due to the slippery surface. I also prefer him with a better topline when stacked.

LD/B (2, 2) - Both Absent

OD/B (1, 0) 1 Murchison’s Kerryfair Please Please Me Corphin, later my Best of Breed – A 6.5-year-old dog of good size and proportion with correct head, expression and eyes. Lovely neck that flowed nicely down to his shoulder. Correct coat texture and body length with well sprung ribs. Correct forequarters with good bone and strong hindquarters that drove him effortlessly round the ring with a lovely tail carriage.

OD/B (7, 2) 1 Tierney’s ShCh Gunalt Elderflower at Greyfurs JW – A lovely 3-year-old female that later was my Best of Breed, of excellent proportions and type. Very well sized with a clean head and a lovely, kind expression. Straight front with elbows close to the very well developed chest and a good sprung of ribs. Strong hindquarters with a lovely bent of stifles and well let down hocks. Good bone and substance all over. She powered gracefully around the ring with a typical tail carriage.

2 Henderson’s Sabsky Brno at Nikostratus – A 2.5-year-old dog with plenty of power. A male with a good over all size and proportions. Typical head and expression with good scissor bite. Well muscled, good dept of chest with a well sized rib cage, short coupled and a well firm loin. Good angulations on both front and rear. Moved with a very well ground covering stride.
