Bulldog. Thank you to the exhibitors for sportingly accepting me as a last minute replacement judge.
P1 Lamont’s Arctibull Goolagong Laroyal. 6 months with room to develop in head, Broad and powerful over the shoulder, strong and muscular neck. Round and dark eyes, high set ears. Wide chest, with with good length of rib. Well set tail. Needs to strengthen in the rear.
J1 Burt’s Hillplace Cool Blue. Powerful, compact with proportionately large, square head with short muzzle. Strong and broad over the shoulders with wide chest, front legs tacked on. Short back with correct rise to the loin. Good string hindquarters.
2 Lamont’s Laroyal Making Wow. Underjaw a little too exaggerated and her head needs todevelop. Good width to chest, short back, well set on hind legs, hocks a little weak.
PG Anscombe’s Blenheimstar’s Lancelot of Jraygon. Nicely proportioned and in no way exaggerated. Large and proportionate head, high set ears, dark and round eye, although showing a little white which affcts the expression. Good strong back. Broad over the shoulders, excellent bone, wide and deep chest. Well set tail. Moved well with strength from backend
OD1 Burt’s Ruakuri Chasing Time. Powerful and compact with sufficient bone and in good muscular condition. Head proportionately large, short back. Broad over the shoulders, strong bone, wide and deep chest. Dark and round eyes, well set ears. Strong neck. Muscular hindquarters. Moved with short and quick steps and distinctive roll. BOB.
2 Anscombe’s Blenheimstar’s Taliesan of Jraygon. Liked his head very much, head but though the winner was better proportioned and balanced overall. Dark and round eyes. broad over shoulder and wide, deep chest. High set ears, good tailset , moved very well, carting himself with confidence and style.
Leonberger
O 1 Niall & Rothery’s Davenheath Gladiator. Powerful and muscular, with a degree of elegance to match. Well balanced overall and correct length to height proportions. Good depth of chest, with strong and level topline that he retained on the move. Good strong bone. Would have preferred darker eyes and neater movement in front. BOB.
2 Osborne’s Nexgen All Eyez on Me. Feminine and nicely balanced. Good body proportions, well set and carried tail. Covered the ground effortlessly.
Boston Terrier. A lovely and generous entry with good sportsmanship, thank you.
J 1 King’s Kingsline Rock Star. Nicely built and well muscled though a tad long in loin for overall balance. Strong front with good strong pasterns. Neat and correctly set tail. Dark and expressive eyes. Well set ears. Head square with sufficient square and broad muzzle.
PG 1 Hounslow’s Ridgeway Rambler. Liked his head, very typical and appealing. Square with sufficient length and depth of muzzle, dark eyes, abrupt stop and brow. Good length of neck leading to well laid shoulder, compact body. Moved ok when settled. Tail a little prominent which affects his outline and appearance.
2 Sandell’s Shawmut Pontiac Chieftain. Another appealing for head shape and squareness of and depth of muzzle. Well set ears. A tad long in loin but scored for cleanness of movement coming and going. Well angulated hindquarters.
3 Sandell’s Shawmut Tucker Torpedo.
O Some lovely exhibits here and balanced decisions needed. 1 James’ Aprika Fifth Avenue JW. Delightfully compact, well balanced with shortness where needed. Good reach of neck, with slight arch carrying head gracefully. Good topline, short back with strong loin and slight curve over the croup. Dark and round eyes, well set ears. Square muzzle, depth to muzzle, abrupt stop and brow. Her rear movement should be neater, but overall I found her a most typical example of the breed, so was happy to award her the class and BOB.
2 Tanner’s Wynele Valentina at Tanver. Another shapely and compact bitch, with good topline and moving well. Head very nice, just thought the winner had better balance overall and compactness. Good angulation, moved with good and typical action.
3 King’s Radcy Jive Kingsline.
French Bulldog.
O 1 Bryant and Duce’s Archness The Guvnor. Sturdy, compact and solid with nice construction, well laid shoulders, good rear angulation. Square skull with typical bat ears and well placed, Dark eye. Cobby and compact, with good spring of rib, clear cut up, topline slightly roaches. BOB.
Tibetan Terrier
P Two lovely puppies to go over, both very sound, thought 1 was more balanced but 2 has room to develop 1 Gell’s Cindie Pawper for Paravell. Sturdy and square without exaggeration. Good head and dark eye. Well angulated, well set and carried tail. Large and round feet. Moved with good action, covering the ground with ease. BPIB.
2 Dyer’s Waterley East on the Eye. Nice head and dark eye, very well built and moved well, covering the ground with ease.
J 1 Andrew’s & Price’s Lasang Rider on the Storm. Sturdy, square and well muscled, good strong neck, well set tail, level topline, covered the ground with ease. Typical head with dark eye.
2 Knight’s Araki I Am Hot Your Not. Another eye catching on the move, a tad long in loin, high set tail, carried well. Would prefer a darker eye. Excellent coat and condition.
PG 1 Dyer’s Tasica Absolutely Fabulous. Well balanced overall. Liked her head and proportions, good reach of neck, level topline, held on the move. Sturdy and well built.
2 Knight’s Araki I Am Hot Your Not.
O 1 Williams’ Bul Ch Tashi’s Spirit Tiger Lilly at Dolkar. Very typical in outline, square and sturdy, with good coat, nicely proportioned head head with dark eyes. Strong topline, high set tail, carried correctly over his back, nicely angulated hindquarters. Fantastic movement, covering the ground with ease and power. BOB.
2 Knight’s Snoadna Morgan Le Fay. Square and powerfully built, another moving effortlessly with power and covering the ground well. Liked her well balanced head, dark eye, good muzzle and strong under jaw. Well angulated hindquarters. RBOB.
Utility Veteran
1 Williams’ Araki Magic Snowflake. Tibetan terrier, square and sturdy, with nice strong topline, typical head. Moved with power and drive.
2 Wheaton’s Buffrey The Last Word at Acinonyx. Dalmatian. Lovely shape and outline, moved very well. Well set ears, typical eye, well set tail, very happy,.
Utility Beginner
1 Bryant’s Middletune Billy The Kid. Shih Tzu. Nice shape and size, topline ok, coat in good condition, likes her head and expression.
2 Fisher’s Vicmar’s Born to Run. Standard Poodle, Very nicely presented in excellent coat and condition. Nice head with dark and expressive eyes. Rather too long in body with affected his topline. Moved well.
UTILITY GROUP
1 Tibetan Terrier
2 Barnes & King’s Ch Izlou Shiver Me Timbers. So well made and stylish. Liked her head and expfrression, so typical for the breed. Neat and correctly set ears. Well balanced through with excellent topline and high set tail. Moved with style.
3 Parker & McDonald’s Ch Violis Stormy Skies. Miniature Schnauzer. Very satisfying to go over, in excellent condition, sturdy and muscular and with correct harsh coat texture. Good head with powerful muzzle. Strong neck. Well balanced and active on the move driving from powerful hindquarters.
4 Boston Terrier.
UTILITY PUPPY GROUP
1 Bevis’ Souska Touch the Sky Over Starlance. Tibetan Spaniel. Was thrilled to go over this young man, he is so well made and balanced. Typical outline with correct body proportions and he moves with typical action. His head will mature nicely I think.
2 Nicholls’ Mamoru Girl’s Best Friend for Shyllar JW. Powerful and impressive Akita, with string bone and in good muscular condition. She is balanced and well constructed with typical head and expression, well set eats. Strong neck neck, leading to well laid shoulder and strong, level topline.
3 Tibetan Terrier.
4 Fanton & Buil’s Hafwenna Valyria at Melecabee JW. Sound and nicely built, moved well, maintaining a good topline and excellent tail carriage.
AV PG Stakes
1 Weyman’s More Than Amazing Wanna Be a Gangster at Spuffing. ESS. Very nicely balanced and symmetrical in outline with a wonderful attitude. Correct length of skull, almond shaped eye, correct earset. Moved with real style covering plenty of ground effortlessly.
2 Gallagher’s Manzart Excalibur at Izralight JW. Most pleasing to go over, sound and well built and in excellent muscular condition. String and level topline, moved well and was at one with his handler.
AV Open Stakes
1 Burrage’s Ch Komidion Prima Donna of Sametova ShCEx VW. So good to go over this bitch, solidly built and in excellent muscular condition, everything in the right place. Long skull, with slight arch, good strong neck. Body compactly built with a well arched loin. Propulsive on the move.
2 Whateley’s Lyckalotte Enzo Ferrari at Arkadian. Bolognese. Squarely built with appealing head and dark eyes, correct pigment throughout. Moved well in profile. Correct texture to flocked coat.
