Yorkshire Gundog Club

Bracco Italiano

Junior (2,1)

1st Warburton’s Owlspoint Loads of Trouble at Heberhouse

13-month-old dog just out of puppy, masculine head of good proportions with eye of good colour giving a lovely expression. Strong neck leading into well laid shoulders, with corresponding rear angulation enabling him to move with reach and drive holding his topline on the move. He has strong bone and good feet to complete the picture pushed hard for the top honours today, a promising young dog whose career I will watch with interest.

Graduate (3,2)

1st Bond’s Teverlarni Keeping the faith.

21-month-old dog, good angular head with chiselling under the eye, deep in chest and well ribbed back. Has good feet, carrying his tail high today which for me completely spoils his topline on the move, however at this age it could be teenage bravado?

Open (8,1)

1st Sanderson’s Whitgun you can’t Touch this at Walwal.

2-Year-Old bitch, one I judged and loved as a puppy loved her then and my opinion of her remains the same as before, she was my standout of the day. What can I say about her now that I didn’t say then? Only that my opinion then still stands today except this young lady just gets better and better with age and I do not think she has matured yet by any means. A very exciting young lady that should go far.

2nd Warburton’s Withamfairy Lush Blossom at Heberhouse

2-year-old, feminine, well-balanced bitch of good size, good head and feet, decent bone, moving powerfully both coming to and going away she really pulled out all the stops to take a well-deserved RBOB today.
