The Merseyside Boxer Club
Thank you to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge this well run,friendly club show, my efficient stewards for keeping things running smoothly and of course the exhibitors for bringing their boxers for me to assess. I had the most enjoyable day not a huge entry but what it lacked in numbers it certainly made up for in quality.

Baby Puppy Dog/Bitch

What a lovely class to start two beautiful baby puppies who totally enchanted me and they just took everything in their stride.

1st - Merribox In Cahoots With Glenauld (naf) (taf)

2nd- Sashbob Miss’d Meena

Pretty 4 months old b&w bitch who shares many similar attributes to 1st, she has a lovely outline and clean head, dark eyes with an enchanting expression, she showed so well moving out with a confident free and easy stride.

1st - Sulez Striker at Glenauld

The first words I wrote were Wow ! this 14 month old dark b&w is so beautifully put together so well balanced throughout, presented in hard pristine condition, excellent head type, square well padded muzzle, dark clean eyes, he has an intelligent and mischievous expression, well off for bone, straight front, neat feet and good depth of chest, Strong arched neck leading to gently sloping topline and good finish to the croup, strong muscular hindquarters which he used on the move with a powerful driving action.

Pleased to award him Best Dog & Best in Show

1st - Newlaithe Respect JW

Tall upstanding 20 month old b&w presenting a masculine and clean outline, nicely proportioned head with a clean skull and defined stop, dark eyes and neat ears, strong arched neck leading to a sloping topline, well developed hind quarters which he used well on the move, he is just lacking in front at present but i'm sure this will come with maturity

1st - Sashbob Never Would I Ever from Berwynfa

Quality 18 month old b&w who is pleasing in outline with good height of foreleg, slightly straight in front assembly, well balanced head, clean in skull with a defined stop, lovely dark eye giving an intelligent expression, compact body, strong topline and correct tailset, tight feet and correctly angulated hindquarters, moved out with purpose and drive

2nd- Glenauld The Chase

Stylish 15 month old R&W who presents a clean and balanced outline, masculine head of good proportions, defined stop and clean skull, dark eyes but could be tighter, straight front and clean underline, topline needs to settle, muscular hindquarters, moved out soundly with a steady driving action

1st- Boese L’amore for Norwilbeck Bellchime

Quality 2 year old b&w who was immaculately presented, typical boxer head of correct proportions, dark eyes good width of muzzle with just enough padding, body square, straight front nicely developed forechest, correct topline with well balanced muscular hindquarters, excellent width of thigh, moved out with purpose was pleased to award him Reserve Best Dog.

Veteran Dog/Bitch

1st - Olleyville Stanley Man at Whirlobox

At nearly nine years of age this dark br/w boy has retained his shape and condition, clean head with a gorgeous expression, parallel front with a deep chest, stands on excellent feet, balanced body proportions, he was clearly enjoying his day moving out with enthusiasm and drive, a credit to his owner Best veteran in show.

1st- Lorrosa My Type On Paper

Smart and feminine 8 month old br/w, square in profile with neck flowing smoothly into withers and correct topline, lovely underline sweeping up into correctly angulated hind quarters, attractive head with dark expressive eyes, presented a lovely free profile action on the move just needs to tighten front action.

2nd - Crime Squad Newlaithe

6 month old br/w very raw puppy as you would expect at this age, pleasing head with a typical boxer puppy expression, ample neck onto correct shoulders, pleasing outline, she moved out well on a confident free stride.

Strong but feminine 10mth old br/w, clean and square in outline with good substance throughout, well proportioned head with a dark expressive eye, good lip placement but slightly heavy in flews, well arched neck good depth to her forechest, good legs and neat feet, well developed muscular hindquarters which she used on the move Best Puppy Bitch.

Striking well grown 16 month old br/w who really fills your eye for balance and type, correct head proportions with good width and depth of muzzle, appealing expression and dark eyes, square impressive profile everything just flows with good forechest, correctly balanced angulations, in super condition with a firm backline and muscular hind quarters which she used to advantage on the move, pleased to award her Best Bitch & RBIS.

2nd - Willo Belle Star for Daervlish

Feminine 19 month old br/w who is not as mature as 1st at present, good head proportions with a clean skull and dark eye giving a lovely expression, well proportioned outline, neat feet, moved out ok just needs to strengthen in hocks.

3rd - Ini Mini Myni Mo at Berwynfa

1st - Diddie On Newlaithe

Medium sized 2 year old br/w of good overall type with a pleasing head and expression, good rise of skull with expressive dark eyes, enough bone, neat feet, short coupled with balanced angulation, sloping topline leading to well developed hind quarters moved with purpose.

Limit Bitch

1st - Carkennar Brainstorm

Strong, square 2 year old br/w who is so balanced in profile with good angulation fore and aft, crested neck into evident withers, stands on super tight feet correct tailset, lovely underline sweeping into her well made muscular hindquarters, a real powerful girl, good head with correct proportions, but would prefer it a little cleaner, dark eye with an appealing expression, moved with power and precision to win her this quality class, Reserve Best Bitch.

2nd - Norwilbeck Bellchime Ola

Attractive 22 month old br/w close up to winner but just not as mature at present, pleasing in outline with a square profile and good angles front and rear, clean balanced head with sufficient chin, moved well.

Elegant 19 month old golden br/w bitch of good make and shape, clean balanced head with good width and depth of muzzle, good mouth, lovely crest of neck flowing into well placed shoulders and slightly sloping topline, feet could be tighter, compact body, well muscled hindquarters which she used on the move.
