BRACCO ITALIANO
Special Yearling (3,2)
1. Coghlan’s Braccorion’s Zero She Flies. 13 month old bitch. Good in outline and balanced proportions. Loved her head which was long and narrow with chiselling, kind expression, pronounced occiput and slight stop. Nice depth of flew which wasn’t overdone, and correct head planes. Straight forelegs with good bone, shoulders well laid back. Body is almost square with correct topline. Moved very well on a good stride. RBOB.
Open (2)
1. Coghlan’s Sh Ch Braccorion’s Va Va Voom. 3 year old bitch. She is well balanced and almost square in outline. Correct head proportions with divergent head planes, occiput, median line and large nose, with correct ear and set. Straight forelegs and good length to upper arm, overall she has well balanced front and rear angulation, which helped to move her round the ring on an excellent ground covering stride. BOB.
2. Gatfield’s Heinaaron Tofana Di Rozes. 6 year old dog. Longer in outline than 1 but he is well balanced overall. Nice head and kind expression. Good layback of shoulder and length of upper arm, ribs well sprung, moderate rear angulation with good width to second thigh. Carrying a little bit too much weight. He moved well but not as outgoing as 1.

Puppy (2,1)
1. Edlin’s Mistcapel Storm Shadow. 7 month old l/w dog. Lots to like about this puppy who is well balanced in outline. His head is slightly round between the ears and he has a nice expression, and a rise to the nasal bone. Liked his balanced angulation and length to upper arm, he moved very well around the ring. BP.
Post Graduate (2)
1. Warrington’s Zakova Aria. 3 year old l/w bitch. Lovely clean balanced outline with correct head proportions and kind expression. Feminine head with correct ear set. Correct length of neck into well placed shoulders and corresponding upper arm. Chest to elbow and spring of rib. She has a good bend of stifle and width to her second thigh. Moved well.
2. Mapes’s Agdenusher Mulberry. 2 year old l/w dog. He is built on a bigger frame overall but has balance in his outline. Kind expression, correct ear set and rise to nasal bone. Still a young dog who needs to fill his frame and drop in chest. He has a correct topline and his croup slopes gradually to his tail. Moved ok.
Open (2)
1. Dymond’s Ch Quintana Diamond Dust at Friarsbelle JW ShCEX OSW. 3 year old l/w dog. I have judged this dog before and feel that he does get better with age, and he is still a young dog. Smart in outline with a short back and standing over plenty of ground, he is so well muscled. Correct head proportions and ear set, has the right amount of flew. Good neck with a slight arch fitting well into a good layback of shoulder. Deep in chest and ribs deep and reaching well back. He moved out on a good powerful stride. BOB.
2. Edlin’s Graygees Tsarine. 3 year old l/w bitch. Really nice bitch with a moderate balanced outline. Well proportioned head and correct ear, with kind expression. She has balanced front and rear angulation, with a good length to her upper arm, and she has a good topline. Moved out well. RBOB.
GORDON SETTER

1. Tye’s Roydack Black Knight at Tymora. 6 month old dog. He has a balanced outline, good tan markings and a beautiful head with melting expression. Well defined stop, deep in flew and overall correct head proportions. Excellent front angulation with a good layback of shoulder and corresponding upper arm. Correct topline which flows to his tail. He is raw at the moment, which you would expect at this age but has everything in the right place, he moved steadily around the ring. BP.
Special Yearling (5,1)
1. McCarthy’s Hernwood Wizard Of Oz JW. 23 month old dog. Appealed for his balanced outline, tan markings and correct proportions throughout. He is short in back and has a level topline. Not the front of his sister and was a bit untidy coming and going on the move, but still appealed overall for his type.
3. Gregory’s Sevensden Autumnal Gold.

A lot in this class I felt were a bit overweight. Liked the first two in this class for their type and outline, splitting hairs between them for 1st and 2nd:
1. Credland & Butcher’s Carnlochan Jack Frost. 7 year old dog. He appealed for his medium size and moderate balanced outline. Beautiful head, good proportions and correct ear set. Correct moderate front and rear angulation, excellent level topline and short in back. Moved well around the ring on a good side gait. RBOB.
2. Wallington’s Int/Multi Ch Nicael Blue Diamond among Ohanava. 7 year old bitch. Again appealed for her medium size and moderate balanced outline. Feminine head and kind expression. She had a good layback of shoulder and upper arm, a level topline, and matching rear angulation. Preferred the front of 1. Again moved well around the ring.

2. Henshaw & Goodchild’s Berseydale Straight Flush with Peteshe TAF. 6 month old b/w dog. Lovely puppy who caught my eye, he is not as together as 1 and needs more confidence, but all that will come. She has excellent ‘daisy cutting action’ movement and moved very well around the ring.
2. Brown’s Hookwood Miss Congeniality. 2 year old o/w bitch. She appealed in outline and has a very pretty feminine head and kind eye. She is balanced throughout with straight forelegs and good feet. She moved well around the ring, but just not the movement of 1.
