My thanks to the Officers and Committee of the Norfolk and Norwich Canine Society for the invitation to judge at this lovely show, and to the exhibitors who brought some absolutely super dogs for me to judge. Also huge thanks to my lovely efficient steward . Really pleased with my entry and some difficult decisions on the day

1 Newson: Beardora Doofus’s Duo

Pretty Year old Bitch with lovely head and eye and good dentition. Shown in good coat and very well handled. Moved beautifully covering the ground well.

2 Brown: Highglade Reason to Believe

Good outline and body proportions, slightly longer cast than one. Good head and neck and very nice topline . A bit unsettled and slightly difficult to assess on the move.

1 Lee-Finglas: Quite the Catch for Richeath

Quality bitch with beautiful head and lovely flowing lines. Deep chested with well sprung ribs. Held good topline moving freely around the ring RBOB

2 Kay: Matamata Homely House

Lovely dog in great coat. Good reach of neck and good topline, well muscled and moved well. Pushed hard but I just slightly preferred the overall outline of 1.

1 Salmon: Potterdale Heritage

Lovely dog who moved effortlessly with flowing lines and so well handled. Good head and neck leading to nice level topline. A fabulous picture BOB

2 Bevis: Ramsgrove Sunshine at Beabeardies 

7 year old bitch and how she was enjoying her day today, very lively. Shown in good coat, she was a lovely type, but unsettled on the move.

1. Dalby: Feels Like Heaven AmonaCanis Among Axernamoon BP. 7 months and maturing nicely. I liked her overall shape for her age. She has a lovely head and nice muscular neck. Very well put together and moved very nicely.  

2. Porter: Nashdom Idol.11 month dog absolutely at one with his owner. Nice head, and alert expression at all times. Typical shape in profile, but preferred the overall look of (1) today

1. Green and Ratcliffe: Borderpride Yes I Am Fayken RBOB. Very smart dog who moved out beautifully, good topline held well on the move, with good tailset and carriage. Correct scissor bite and good dentition. Nice reach of neck, well laid shoulder and well sprung ribs. Just needs time to mature slightly - one to watch.

2. Trejos: AlyshaVon Den Glucksmomentum Rangier than (1) a pretty bitch, very feminine with good head and pleasing body shape. Good tail carriage, slightly close behind on the move today.

1. Greening: Kanamaren Take These Pearls. Beautiful bitch oozing femininity. Best mover today. Very pretty with gorgeous head, nice oval eyes with soft kind expression. Tons of style.BOB

2. Dalby: Hidden Bo Fedele Amico For Axernamoon. Pushed 1 hard today. Lovely dog with great head and neck, good ribbing and topline with correct tailset and carriage. Just preferred overall movement and appearance of 1 today.

1. Collino: Imaginist My Fair Lady BPSable/White Bitch. Beautiful wedge shaped head, perfect ears. Good dentition. Well constructed front, with sloping shoulders and nice tight elbows. Moved out well with plenty of drive BP

2. Spendelow: Uffspring Undeniable. Merle dog, bigger than (1), but close decision today. Preferred head of (1). Good neck and ribbing. Good turn of stifle. Moved nicely

1. Whitaker: Siluto Blueberry Mist . Very pretty Merle bitch Well balanced shape to her. Correct shape to head and , correct dentition, , good ears. She has a super length of neck into well placed shoulders. Nice tight elbows. Moved smoothly. l

2. Walton: Sassari Smudge 21 month dog. Good wedge shaped head and nice dark eye. Nice straight forelegs with moderate bone and nice oval feet. Good tailset and carriage.

Radford-House and Durrant: Chelborn’s Betting List for Fivejays . I liked her shape and size in profile, showing good balance. Good topline with slight rise over loin and good tailset, well carried. Shown in good condition with excellent coat

Benton: Ch Brooklynson El Dorada ShCEx . Superb masculine dog shown in beautiful condition. Great coat. Perfect head and good dentition. Superb shape overall and held this completely on the move, covering the ground effortlessly. Stunning! BOB

Radford-House and Durrant: Ingledene Midnite Skye With Fivejays . Pretty bitch with lovely head and eye. Nicely arched neck, firm back and correct rise over loins. Well balanced on the move. Unlucky to come up against my winner today. RBOB

Benton: OakestelleArtemisShCEx . A delight to go over this real quality bitch, with everything to like, I have admired her from ringside and was thrilled to have the opportunity. Stunning and so feminine in profile. Beautiful head and expression, good reach of neck, Lovely front and perfect body proportion, great angulation. Pure quality. Powered round the ring with ease. BOB and delighted to see her take Pastoral Group 2.

Wensley Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive JW. Cracking dog pushed (1) all the way but preferred her ring presence today. Liked his completely masculine profile Lovely head and eye, excellent dentition. In great condition. Moved out with good drive. RBOB

Puppy 1(0) Wallis Baga. Velrok Aragornarth TAF. 11 month boy enjoying his day out today. Not very settled on the move - having a very exciting day out, so difficult to assess. Lovely outline. Nice head and eye. Good dentition. Nice reach of neck. Shown in good condition

Birks: Pavoskas Galena. Very smart girl, so feminine in profile. At one with her handler. Excellent effortless movement round the ring - I liked everything about her! .BOB and Pastoral Group 4

Wallis Baga: Velrok Este Ellerina. Less settled than (1) Pretty bitch with a good head, nice set ears. Correct scissor bite. Good rear angulation, and in good condition throughout. BP RBOB .

Down: Elessar Blue Diamond JW Stood alone but more than capable of top honours regardless. Cracking girl, so smart. Well proportioned with excellent head, correct bite and nice reach of neck. Good depth of chest with well sprung ribs. Moved out superbly covering the ground well.I loved her. BOB

Frosdick: Ch Mistycor Apollo Back to Black for Kalwig. What a class - it may have been a small entry but what quality dogs and I was really nit picking. I loved this dogs masculine profile. Lovely head with expressive eye and kind expression, good neck into well laid shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Excellent movement RBOB

Down: Elessar Lunar Eclipse. Again - just lovely. Fabulous head and good topline held well at all times. Just slightly preferred the movement of (1) but she pushed so hard!

Smith: Rosebud in Bloom. Smart puppy with lovely head, good bite and dentition. Of good length with nicely sprung ribs and good topline. Her young handler struggled a little but did an excellent job. Well done! BP and Puppy Group 4

Roper: Twinan Raise Your Game. Another smart well presented girl, but slightly on the larger side. excellent head, correct bite and nice reach of neck. Good depth of chest with well sprung ribs. Preferred topline and rear movement of (1)

Down: Elessar Royal Design. Lovely bitch - fabulous feminine profile, Excellent head and good reach of neck. Nice forechest. Good elbows and great angulation. Topline held beautifully BOB

Roper: Twinan Raise Your Game (rpt)

Roper: Cardigan Bay. Good foxy head with moderate stop. Nice straight front with tight elbows. Good stifle angulation and nice straight hocks viewed when going away. Nice topline.

Aylott: Holly Pippin at Barwal. Lovely bitch in beautiful condition. Good shape and held a nice topline. Unfortunately slightly nervous today - maybe the indoor conditions.
