Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Classes

Thank you to the Southampton and District Canine Association for the invite to judge. Thanks also to my efficient steward on the day, Laurie. I would like to thank the Exhibitors for their entry and for accepting my decisions gracefully. All placed dogs had correct dentation.

Puppy

No entries

Junior (2,1)

1. Yeates’ Merryanna Lily the Pink – 16 month old Blenheim bitch. Held a level topline whilst standing and on the move. Coat in excellent condition and rich in colour. Nicely shaped head. Happy temperament typical of the breed and attentive to its’ owner. Ample chest. Reserve Best of Breed.

Post Graduate (4,1)

1. Kemp’s Capriconia Campari – Rich Ruby coat in excellent condition. 2 year old bitch. Lovely big round eyes framed by a correct head shape. Ears set high and well feathered. Moved out well and displayed the characteristic cavalier temperament. Ample chest, good reach of neck and level topline. Best of Breed.

2. Crouch’s Cobbets Cameo Peach – Blenheim bitch 2 years old. Another one displaying the breed standard temperament with a tail that would not stop wagging. Always looking to please its’ owner. Level topline and ample chest.

Open (3,2)

1. Yeates’ Vonnyisle Angel Effect with Merryanna – 2½ year old Blenheim bitch. Held level topline and carried tail correctly. Moved out well. Typical cavalier temperament. Good reach of neck. Dark eyes.
