Retriever (Golden) Puppy (2):

1. Purdie’s Thornywait Bring Me Luck, bitch of just over 6 months, a real baby but well made all through, pleasing head and eye, well made front, good bone and feet, well ribbed with short loin, well angulated hindquarters, moved soundly fore and aft and carried herself well in profile where she covered good ground, BP;

2. Macdonald’s Largymore Classique, well presented feminine puppy of nearly 12 months, shown well in lovely condition, good topline held on the move, preferred front of 1 and a little close behind;

Retriever (Golden) Junior (2):

1. Munro’s Thornywait Royal Destiny for Glenbuie, 13 months bitch of pleasing overall type, size and balance, excels in topline, tailset and hindquarters, covers the ground well in profile where she keeps her outline, would prefer her to be a little shorter in couplings;

2. Macleod’s Bluebraes Bidey In At Rocamar, pleasing headed, masculine young man of similar age to 1, excellent bone, body and hindquarters, preferred front of 1 who kept her outline better in profile, needs time;

Retriever (Golden) Special Yearling (3):

1. Warden’s Holinbrae Zoom Time at Glentochty, just out of junior, this young dog is of pleasing type and balance, his head appealed with good eye, well coupled body, correct rib, pleasing topline and strong hindquarters, good bone and correct feet, moved soundly;

Retriever (Golden) Post Graduate (5):

1. Carlton’s Fhairmhor Moonlight Sonata at Thistlegate, the overall picture of this bitch appealed, quite unexaggerated, balanced in outline and a look of quality, feminine all through with pleasing head, excellent topline, tailset, adequate bone, scored in profile action where her stride covered the ground correctly and she maintained her outline beautifully, a gently enthusiastic showgirl, BOB;

Retriever (Golden) Limit (2):

1. Warden’s Noblemoon Tak The High Road To Glentochty, 6 years mature male with pleasing head and eye, scored in body, rib and topline, good tail carriage, free stride in profile;

2. Bradley’s Ceilcaesar Ben Avon, 4 years male with extrovert personality and good body properties, preferred feet of 1;

Retriever (Golden) Open (5):

1. Noblemoon Tak The High Road To Glentochty

2. Thomson’s Clannorach Dreams Come True, pleasing type bitch of good overall balance and proportions, well bodied, good couplines, good topline, tailset and tail carriage on the move, strong hindquarters, just a little light in eye which affected the expression;

3. Toseland Rolls Royce

Retriever (Flatcoated) Puppy (1):

1. Stevenson’s Steelriver Isle View Pippet, 8 months feminine extrovert of pleasing overall type and balance for age, nicely moulded head for age, excellent topline, quarters and free flowing movement, shows promise for the future, BP;

Retriever (Flatcoated) Junior (2):

1. Varty-Lindsay’s Leviann Big Bang, very nice young dog of pleasing type and balance, nicely moulded head, pleasing dark brown eyes of the right shape, excellent body and hindquarters with well let down hocks, moved soundly;

2. S Isle View Pippet

Retriever (Flatcoated) Special Yearling (2):

1. Anson, Rose and McManus’ Rotherfield Secret Code, quality, eyecatching young male of just over 18 months of age, impressed me with his very pleasing, well moulded head, very good through body with short loin, excellent topline, muscular hindquarters with good turn of stifle, great showman, looks just as good on the move where he carries himself so well, covering good ground and sound and true fore and aft, a dog whose future I will follow, pleased to see him go on to BIS;

1. Stewart’s Eskside Lady of Loganlea, feminine bitch of pleasing size, super outgoing personality, excellent topline and hindquarters, moved freely;

Retriever (Flatcoated) Open (1):

1. Mcdonald’s Sh Ch Steelriver Dance In The Sun at Skyloch, lovely quality bitch and no surprise to see that she is deservedly titled, well shaped head with correct eye shape and colour, well made front, correct topline and moved particularly well behind, pushed hard for BOB but I just fell for the overall impression of the lovely young male;

Retriever (Curly Coated) Open (1):

1. Cummings’ Molokain Enchanted One, five years bitch of pleasing size and substance with very good coat, body and rib, pleasing neck and shoulders, carried herself well in profile;
