I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for the invitation to judge the final top awards at their busy, friendly Premier Open show. A good atmosphere prevailed throughout the day and pleasing to see so many staying to the end to cheer on the overall winners.

For BIS I chose the Min S/H Dachshund, Mylforbe Red Velvet At Sunara. Classy young red female that looked the part both on the stack and on the move. Quality all through with sound conformation, some daylight underneath and pleases in head, eye and expression. Moved with soundness and conviction and a lovely size. Told after judging she is sitting on a ticket, good luck with her title. RBIS went to the masculine Bernese Mountain Dog, Ch. Cullumbrn Milano. Medium sized boy with great substance and bone. Appeals in head shape, conformation and in excellent double coat. Moved out well in all directions, being particularly impressive in rear. A real personality-plus showman and a worthy title holder. BPIS went to the fabulous female Min. Bull Terrier, Risibully Have You Seen Her With Ferustaff. A breed I adore, and this 11 month old female stole my heart with her breed-typical personality, super egg-shaped head and ears well set, not too large and used to advantage. So good to see an excellent scissor bite. Well balanced outline. Pleasing for size with good bone and strength. Moderately angled front and back. Excellent presentation and handling. Sound on the move and had to take the top spot today. RBPIS was a close call between the Rhodesian Ridgeback and the black Min. Schnauzer male, Amorevita Uranus, that eventually got the nod. A square dog of pleasing size. Appealing head, dark expressive eye and well set-on ears. Good reach of neck leading to a sound front. Some substance to frame and a well, angled rear. Harsh coat, put down to the minute. Moved with attitude and soundness. BVIS was the most hotly contested on the day with the WSS female, Isfryn Lady Godiva At Fireglow, coming out on top. 7 year old female in super condition. Nicely balanced in head and outline. Good head, the most lovely eye and expression that melts the heart. Reachy neck and deep, functional chest. Holds her topline correctly at all times. Good angles Excellent coat for colours, texture and presentation. On the final run around, went up a gear and secured her win. RBVIS, W/H Dachshund, Ch. Boloria’s Trick Or Treat. What super female this worthy 8 year old Champion is. Great outline. Lovely head and expression. Moderate neck. Good conformation. Excellent mover in all directions. Super coat and gave a good account of herself. Best Ch. In Show. Another super line-up paraded for this award and the winner being a great favourite of mine the ETT, Ch. Witchstone Raindance Avec Richpin. At 5 years old, he is at full maturity and looking the part. Love his head, candle-flame ears and dark eye. So good to go over on the table and moves out with a breed-typical gait. Always presented in super form. For me, a great dog and must rate among the best from this kennel.mBest RBOB In Show. This went to the well balanced, typey Tibetan Terrier female, Araki Not On Your Nelly At Javey. 2 year old that is still to mature fully but has a super square outlie. Excellent head, good pigment and moderately angled front and back. Holds her tail well on the move and in excellent coat. Moved well showing reach and driving off from sound hocks.
