Puppy (1)

1st Marina’s MARINBOX A PERFECT MURDER - 9mth Male who is still very raw, top sized with weight correct for his age. Well-proportioned head, dry skull with good ear carriage, dark eye, broad muzzle, cheeks still need to fill but when attentive gives a pleasing expression. Nice neck onto a good lay of shoulder. Length of upper arm is correct, as is depth of brisket. Correct underline, with correct tuck up. Rear angles are made up well. He moved sound albeit with typical puppy movement. Best Puppy in Breed

1st Marina’s MARINBOX MURDER IN THREE ACTS - Mature 5 year male, who in profile has lovely body conformation. Head is okay but he has a little too much stop for me, however he has a good skull, nice ear carriage and a broad strong muzzle. Muscular neck, onto a correct front, lovely rib development, with depth and width to chest and elbows correct, stands straight in front onto lovely feet. Rear angles are very well muscled both in first and second thigh and with strength in hock these enabled him to drive through well on the move. The floor surface was poor for him, but I was able to assess his soundness. Best of Breed

Great Dane

Puppy (1)

1st Teese & Walton’s PRIMUS BELLE STAR (AI) TAF – I judged this 7mth old fawn bitch in January at her first show. She is now getting to be a good size with bone to match. So very elegant. Her head is beautiful, everything feels right and flows smoothly. Flat skull with ears set correct, strong muzzle, good lip line, medium dark eyes, complimented with a lovely dark mask. Nice neck flows onto a good topline. Nice width to chest and stood straight in front. Correct feet for one so young. Loin beginning to broaden, croup nice with a good tail set and carriage. Hindquarters are coming on well with muscle developing, strong in hock. Sound on the move, although on the day didn’t hold her shape at all times, but the floor didn’t help. Look forward to seeing her mature. Best Puppy In Breed

Special Yearling (3, 1 abs)

1st Pendleton-Watkins’ GOLDANIA’S KING OF DRAGO - 12mth substantial Brindle male, with super development for his age. Nice head with ears carried well, dark eye and complimented with a dark mask. Neck well arched and of good length blending well onto a good lay of shoulder, strong topline and undercarriage, strong loin. Chest developing and stands straight in front. Hindquarters are nice with a good turn of stifle; muscle development is good. A little close on the move, but sound in all directions.

2nd Munro’s ROUCANDANE STOLEN KISSES - 14mth fawn male of good size and bone, but still raw. Strong head, with medium eye, broad and strong muzzle. Nice length of neck. Chest still needing to broaden. Good top line onto a nice croup with lovely tail set. Hindquarters are developed well, where first and second thigh have good muscle and a nice turn of stifle. Finished with lovely feet. Moved sound.

Limit (2)

1st Warrener’s STORMDANCE LORD OF THE RINGS (IKC) - 2 year Harlequin medium sized male, with bone and condition to match. Such a lovely boy to go over, yes, I’d like more of him, but he is a very nice young male and should not be overlooked. Head is well put together where it is proportioned correctly, flat skull, medium ear carried well, broad muzzle with nice lip line, medium eye. Strong neck, clear of any loose skin, this blends onto a good lay of shoulder and nice return of upper arm, where his elbows are well placed. Good depth of brisket, ribcage developed well. Strong top line, under carriage is well drawn back, loins are strong and muscular, leading to strong hindquarters where muscle definition was evident, and with a good turn of stifle and strong hocks. Movement is as expected with a balanced animal, he moved steady and sound whilst maintaining his shape at all times. Presented in super condition. Best of Breed.
