1st Smith’s Sueacres Centre Stage - What a smart little person this is! Orange sable So full of his own self importance and presents a balanced picture both on the stand and the move. Lovely head and expression of good proportions, well pigmented nose and eye rims. Dark, oval eyes of moderate size fitting well in his skull and giving intelligent expression. Neat little ears set well on his skull. Correct amount of neck into a sound front assembly, finely boned forelegs, straight and of good length. Neat catlike feet. Compact body, short backed with ribs well sprung and carried well back. Hindquarters showing correct angles, hocks straight and parallel. High set, flat tail of correct carriage. Abundant puppy coat presented well. Moved freely and soundly from all angles. Couldn’t be denied BOB & BPIB in today’s quality entry of youngsters. Delighted to see him take Adult Group 3 and Puppy Group 1.

2nd Cawthera-Purdy’s Lireva’s Wild and Wonderful - Clear orange, another lovely male puppy straight out of the top drawer. Just not quite as foot-sure on the move today and giving a little away on maturity. That being said, he has everything in the right place and is another very exciting prospect. Small and compact, well balanced. Handsome head, skull slightly flat, fine muzzle of correct length with good finish. Eyes full of expression and mischief, oval in shape, of good set and size. Erect ears, small and used well. Neck well set into clean shoulders which were well laid, forelegs finely boned, straight finishing with compact, neat feet. Short backed, compact body, ribs of good spring, carried well back, short loin. Sound hindquarters. High set tail. Puppy coat of excellent colour and texture. Moved tidily with animation and confidence.

1st Lireva’s Just On A Daydream - Orange sable bitch puppy. Full of type. Good size, well balanced, presenting a tidy outline. Feminine head and expression, foxy in outline, slightly flat in skull, muzzle of correct length finishing cleanly. Well pigmented nose and eye rims, eyes medium in size of correct set and fitting her face well. Enough neck into a sound front assembly, forelegs straight and of fine bone, neat feet. Compact body, short in back, well rounded ribcage with short loin. High set tail, flat with hair coming in well, correct carriage over back. Hindquarters straight and sound with correct moderate bend to stifles and parallel, straight hocks. Moved very well showing off her vivacious personality. RBOB

2nd Campbells’s Bella Jean - Cream sable. Preferred type and overall construction of 1st. Pretty, feminine head of decent proportions, well pigmented nose, lips and eye-rims, fine muzzle, skull slightly flat. Dark eyes of good set. Ears erect and well set, could be slightly smaller. Short neck into a moderate lay of shoulder, finely boned forelegs. Well bodied with good spring of rib. Loin could be a little shorter. Hindquarters of moderate angles, High set flat tail carried well over her back. Moved ok.

1st Cawthera-Purdy’s Lireva’s Merry Fly The Bear - Another lovely youngster from this kennel. Good size and shape, compact with typical outline. Her head is feminine, foxy in outline, skull shape correct, defined stop and muzzle clean. Well pigmented nose and eyerims. Dark, twinkling eyes of correct set, shape and size. Neat, erect little ears well set on her skull. Neck of correct length fitting well into correctly laid shoulders. Chest developing well for age. Forelegs finely boned. Short backed, level topline, well rounded ribcage with short loin. Hindquarters sound and of moderate angles. Good colour and puppy coat of correct texture. High set, flat tail. Moved well.

2nd Smith’s Lireva’s Just On A Flutter - Another nice prospect, although being a typical naughty baby today showing off a wonderful temperament. Pretty expression and head of correct proportions, muzzle pointed, fine and finishing cleanly. Eyes dark, oval in shape and well set apart. Ears neat and erect. Good neck into a sound front assembly. Finely boned forelegs, straight. Neat catlike feet. Well bodied for age, ribs well sprung, not as well developed in chest as 1 at the moment but plenty of time on her side. Correct hindquarters, sound with parallel low set straight hocks. Coat of good colour and texture. Moved soundly when settled.

Ears of correct shape and set, blending in well with neck hair. Neck of good length carrying her head well on the move, shoulders well laid, forelegs short and strong. 1st Maule’s Daltricia Jack Higgins JW - Eyecatching gold and white, attractive dog who demands your attention as he enters the ring. On first glance, he is balanced, slightly longer than high, and there is no denying he has substance, finished with a well presented coat in full bloom. On closer inspection he has a masculine head, not coarse in any way, broad and round with good width between his large, dark round eyes. His muzzle is short and square with good width to underjaw, lips fitting neatly. Black nose with wide open nostrils. Large, well set ears mingle with a well arched neck. Well laid back shoulders, forelegs are short and strong with quality bone. Good depth to his chest. Back straight with level topline, ribs well sprung and carried well back, loin is muscular. Well muscled thighs with correct hind angles which propel him on the move. High set, well plumed tail carried well over his back. Coat of good texture presented well. Moved soundly from all angles with that typical air of arrogance. BOB

Neck of adequate length fitting well into a sound front, forelegs straight and of good length and bone, chest developing well for age. Well ribbed back, still to fill out in body as expected at this age, loin short and muscular. Hindquarters of moderate angles, low set parallel hocks. In good coat for age. High set tail. Moved with confidence keeping a level topline at all times.

1st Davies’ Waterley Heartbreaker - Striking black & white male. He presents such a balanced outline, square and compact, of medium size and shows substance. It is when this dog moves that he really comes alive, poetry in motion. His head is masculine, not coarse in any way, shape or form, medium length of skull, correct skull shape, defined stop, muzzle is of good length, strong with good width to underjaw. Black nose and eyerims. Well furnished. Eyes large, dark and round, well set. V-shaped, pendant ears with good feathering. Neck of good length, strong and muscular carrying his head proudly and flowing seamlessly into well laid shoulders. Straight, strong forelegs of quality bone. Compact, solid, sturdy square body with level topline, ribs well sprung and chest well developed for age, muscular, short loin. Well muscled hindquarters with well bent stifles and parallel straight hocks. High set tail carried well over his back. Correct coat presented in pristine condition. Moved around the ring effortlessly with excellent reach and drive covering plenty of ground and great showman attitude. Loved him. BOB

2nd Kemp’s Araki Spice of Life for Yanlan - Lovely young bitch who is well balanced. She is of good size and type. Presents a square outline. Sturdy with good substance throughout. She has a feminine expression, her head is of good proportions, equal head planes, skill slightly rounded, definite stop, muzzle strong and with good width of underjaw. Eyes are large and dark and full of expression. Pendant ears of correct set. Neck strong and well muscled fitting well into a correct lay of shoulder, forelegs straight, strong and well feathered. Chest of good depth, ribs well sprung and carried well back, muscular, short, taut loin. Hindquarters strong and well angulated. Moved well from all angles. Unlucky to meet 1st today.

2nd Johnson’s Tyngeli Give Us A Twirl - Black & White bitch presenting a good square outline. She is of a nice size. Very pretty, feminine head and expression, proportionate with correct length to muzzle, enough underjaw. Good bite. Dark, expressive large round eyes giving resolute expression. Ear set and shape correct. Enough neck into a good lay of shoulder, enough chest and well sprung ribs. Forelegs well boned. Level topline kept at all times. Well angulated hind quarters. Presented in good condition. Moved well.

2nd Green’s Verony Mystic Charm - Another lovely bitch from this kennel who pushed 1st hard. I just felt the winner of the class had the edge on movement today. She is another who presents a lovely square, balanced outline, is of good size and in excellent body and muscular condition throughout. Feminine head with typical expression, proportionate muzzle, good underjaw. Eyes are dark, well spaced, large and round. Good reach of neck flowing seamlessly into well laid shoulders, good depth to chest on this girl, well boned forelegs and good large, feet. Compact body, well sprung ribs carried well back, level topline held at all times. Hindquarters muscular and well angulated. High set tail carried well over her back. Moved soundly from all angles.

1st Allen & Betts’ Hawkfield King’s Ransom - Orange and White male puppy who is very much at the “leggy” stage just now but has plenty of time on his side to mature. That being said he has many virtues. His head is handsome and of good proportions, well defined stop, dark pigment on nose and eye rims, lips well developed without being overdone. Eyes of good colour and shape giving a kind expression. Good bite. He has a good reach of neck which fits into well laid shoulders, forelegs straight and of quality bone. Still to develop in body and chest as expected at this age. Ribs well sprung and carried well back, short loin. Hindquarters of correct angles. Tail set and carriage correct. Moved with confidence.

1st Brooksmith’s Millpoint Golden Pippin - Orange & White bitch who is balanced and creates such a pleasing outline. Shapely and feminine who won this class on movement. Lovely, feminine head with such a pretty expression, good breadth to skull with defined occiput. Slightly concave muzzle, black nose and lips soft and well developed. Kind eyes of good colour, shape and size, ears of correct size, shape and set. Reachy neck of good length, slightly arched and flowing smoothly into clean, well laid shoulders. Chest developing well. Forelegs straight and strong with good bone. Body well muscled throughout with good spring of rib carried well back, muscular, short loin. Hindquarters well muscled with good bend to stifles and straight, low set hocks. Good tailset and carriage. Moved smoothly with ground covering strides. RBOB

2nd Philo’s Sunhouse Black is Back at Salmonmist - black & white male who pushed 1st hard. Just preferred 1sts front movement today. Nevertheless, he is a handsome and pleasing exhibit. Beautiful head of correct proportions, clearly defined stop, concave muzzle of good length, soft lips. Eyes of good colour, set and shape giving a pleasing, kind expression. Nice neck into a good lay of shoulder, decent return of upper arm. Forelegs straight and of correct bone. Well bodied with good spring of rib, carried well back, muscular, short loin. Sound hindquarters of correct angles. Moved well.

1st Adams’ Carofel Wings of Hope JW - I judged this male as a young puppy and liked him very much back then. He is maturing nicely into a lovely specimen of the breed. He is balanced and well constructed. Lovely head of excellent proportions, good work in his head, nice breadth to skull, pronounced occiput, definite stop and concave muzzle giving typical expression. Black nose, soft lip. Neck muscular, slightly arched and of good length flowing seamlessly into well laid shoulders. Well developed chest, forelegs straight with correct oval bone. In excellent body and muscular condition, ribs well sprung and carried well back, short, taut muscular loin. Level topline kept at all times. Well rounded rear with super muscle tone, well bent stifles and low set parallel hocks. Tail coming well off his back, lashing action on move. Moves soundly and effortlessly with plenty of reach and drive. BOB.

2nd Brooksmith’s Nightgold Pipkin - Feminine Liver & White bitch presented in excellent condition. Kind head and expression, good breadth to skull, well pronounced occiput, good length to concave muzzle, well developed soft lips, good bite, nostrils well developed. Lovely, expressive eyes, colour matching her coat. Good reach to neck, well laid shoulders and decent return of upper arm. Good chest depth with enough heart and lung room. Forelegs of quality bone. Well ribbed back with good spring of rib, muscular loin. Hindquarters sound and of correct angles. Another good mover, just not quite the showmanship of 1st.

Broad, clean-cut head, definite stop with good length and depth to muzzle. Expressive eyes of good colour, set and shape giving a pleasing expression. Strong neck of good length fitting cleanly into well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm, forelegs straight and strong and of correct bone well placed under her. Chest developing well for age, well bodied with good spring of rib which is carried well back, topline level, short, strong loin. Hindquarters are strong and sound with well bent stifles and parallel low set hocks. Thick tail of correct set and carriage, in complete balance with the rest of her. Moved freely and confidently with ground covering reach and drive. A lovely puppy who’s progress I will watch with interest. BPIB.

2nd Shirton’s Woolman Wish Upon A Star - Black bitch puppy who again is of good size and substance and presents a pleasing outline. Not quite as foot-sure on the move today and preferred head of 1st. Feminine, broad head with proportionately strong muzzle, good width to jaws, expressive, kind dark eyes harmonising with coat, well set in her face and giving an intelligent expression. Enough neck into a sound front assembly, her forelegs are well boned and straight and of correct length. Solid body with good ribbing and chest for age, level topline carried at all times. Hindquarters are well angulated, propelling her on the move. Short, dense coat. Moved soundly.

Eyes are kind and intelligent and of correct shape, set and size. Earset correct. Muscular, good reach of neck fitting into well laid shoulders, forelegs straight and strong with enough bone. 2nd Young’s Potterzuri Mister Mufasa - Masculine yellow dog with a pleasing expression. Very much at the “junior” stage just now but has plenty of time on his side. He is of good substance and has the correct bone. Not over-heavy and is in excellent muscle condition. His head is broad and masculine, well pigmented and giving a pleasing expression. Good reach of neck into a sound front assembly, well boned forelegs, straight and carried well under him. Good body with well sprung ribs, level topline and muscular loin. Sound hindquarters. Moved well.

He is masculine with a good, clean broad head, definite stop and strong muzzle, broad underjaw. Good scissor bite. Eyes are dark and of good shape, well spaced apart giving a kind and intelligent expression. Ears well set and carried correctly. Clean, strong neck, muscular and of good length fitting smoothly into well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm, chest not too broad and of good depth, forelegs well set under him, straight and of strong bone. Solid, muscular body with well sprung barrel ribs which are carried well back, muscular loin. Hindquarters are well muscled, angulation correct with good bend to stifles and low set, parallel hocks. Masculine but not overdone in any way. Such a lovely head, skull broad, defined stop, muzzle and foreface strong and of correct length, lips finishing cleanly. Very well pigmented. Eyes dark and expressive of good size, shape and set. Good reach of neck, muscular and fitting well into a sound front assembly. Lovely broad chest of good depth, forelegs straight and strong. Well sprung ribs carried well back. Level topline held at all times. Well muscled hindquarters with correct angulation propelling him on the move. Thick otter tail of correct set and carriage. Nice neck into strong, well laid shoulders, straight forelegs with quality bone. Good body proportions, well sprung ribs carried well back. 2nd Pipes & Groves Bushwacker Don Juan - A very raw puppy at the moment but has everything in the right place to mature and develop well. Orange road male. A masculine head of good proportions, lean cheeks, good chiselling under eyes, pronounced occiput, muzzle of good length and depth. Eyes oval and of good colour giving a soft expression. Enough neck, sound front. Good body proportions, almost square, well sprung ribs carried well back, correct topline. Strong hindquarters of good angles. Moved confidently.
