1st Mitchell’s Avonfair A Million Dreams - A beautiful bitch puppy of 10 months old. Good size and well balanced. Beautiful, typy head, smooth and wedge shaped, flat skull. Very slight stop, muzzle of good length with strong underjaw, well pigmented nose. Eyes well sized and set obliquely giving typical, sweet expression, dark and almond shaped. Ears of good set and size, semi-erect. Good reach of neck, slightly arched and fitting smoothly into a sound front assembly. Forelegs straight and of quality strong bone. Body proportionate, not overly long, well ribbed back with muscular loin. Hindquarters sound with correct angles, well bent stifles and low set parallel hocks. Tail set and carriage correct. Coat coming in well, very well presented. Moved well from all angles. BOB & BPIB. Delighted to hear she later took Pastoral Group 2 and Puppy Group 1.

2nd Babiak’s Upside Down De Remember Our Love at Egalefalls - 9 month old male puppy, fractionally longer in body than 1st and I also preferred 1st’s head and expression. Masculine head and expression, flat skull, wedge shaped with slight stop, equal head planes, muzzle strong with good underjaw. Dark eyes, almond in shape and obliquely set. Ear set and carriage correct. Enough neck into a decent lay of shoulder, chest developing well for age, forelegs straight. Well sprung ribs, firm back with solid topline. Hindquarters matching fore angles. Good feet. Coat of good texture, good presentation. Moved well, just a little close behind.

1st Mitchell’s Avonfair Aloysius - 10 month old brother to my BOB, and he shares many qualities of his sister. Today, his sibling was a little more footsure and positive on the move during the challenge. Pleasing head of good proportions, sweet yet masculine expression, flat skull, wedge shaped with clean cheeks, very slight stop. Dark, almond shaped eyes, obliquely set and giving typy expression. Ears of good size and set, tipping slightly forward. Nice reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, chest developing well, forelegs straight and of quality bone. Well bodied for age, well ribbed back with strong loin. Sound hindquarters of correct angles. Moved well but preferred movement of his sibling in the challenge.

1st Lynch’s Cherny Brilliant Queen at Garnox - Red with black overlay, Russian Toy bitch who is balanced and dainty with that elegance that the standard asks for. Built on square lines and presenting a typy outline. Skull rounded, small but in proportion with the rest of her, defined stop with clean muzzle of good length, well pigmented nose and lips. Eyes dark and rounded well set and of good size. Large, erect ears well fringed and set high. Neck of adequate length, fitting into a moderate lay of shoulder. Forelegs straight and of fine bone. Well bodied. Hindquarters of moderate angles and matching those of front. Moved positively with brisk action.

2nd Slack’s Grande Misterio Incanto Heaven Eversbabes - Black & Tan male Russian Toy of 9 months old. Preferred size and daintiness of 1st. He has a handsome head and expression, small but proportionate, muzzle of good length, definite stop, well pigmented nose, lips and eye rims. Expressive eyes, rounded and well set. Ears large, erect and fringing coming in well. Nice amount of neck allowing for a high head carriage. Correct fore angles, straight forelegs slightly longer than body depth, chest developing well. Compact body well ribbed back, back straight, short loin with tuck up. Hindquarters sound and of moderate angles. Moved well with animation and spirit.

1st Hillian’s Zaandam Lady Libra for Pawfectpoms - Clear orange, compact and square, of good size. Skull large and slightly flat, defined stop, muzzle clean and proportionate. Well pigmented nose and eyerims. Oval, dark eyes of good size well set in her face, giving a pleasing expression. Neat little ears, high set on her pretty head. Neck of correct length into well set shoulders, straight forelegs of fine bone. Small cat-like feet. Short backed, compact and well ribbed back, chest of good depth. Hindquarters sound and of moderate angles. High set, flat tail with spreading profuse hair. Coat of good colour and harsh texture, offstanding and well presented. Moved well with brisk movement.

2nd Carrigan’s Carripom Ms Ginger Rodgers - Very pretty girl of just 9 months. Full of beans and attitude and making her handler work hard today. Head of good proportions, skull flattish, well defined stop, fine muzzle of good length, foxy in outline. Well pigmented. Dark eyes of good set, shape and size. Neat ears, high set on her skull. Good neck into a sound front, chest and body still to develop as expected at this age. Forelegs straight and of fine bone. Compact body, well sprung ribs, short loin. Sound hindquarters, moderate angulation. Tail well set and flat with hair coming in nicely. Puppy coat well presented and well textured. Moved well, with animation when settled. Just preferred overall compactness of 1st. BPIB

1st Carrigan’s Poseyhill Sir Isaac Newton at Carripom JW - Wow! What a lovely example of his breed this young dog is. Not quite 2 years old yet, he is an orange sable who presents a balanced, compact outline when stood. Alert little showman who gives his all to his handler. Beautiful head, masculine expression without a trace of coarseness, large, slightly flat skull, defined stop, muzzle fine and of correct length. Well pigmented throughout. Dark, oval eyes, well set in his skull, expressive. Neat, small, erect little ears set atop his handsome head completing the full picture. Neck of good length, fitting well into correct lay of shoulder, finely boned forelegs, straight, finishing with neat compact catlike feet. Good depth of chest. Short backed, barrel ribs well rounded and carried well back. Hindquarters strong and sound with moderate angulation. High set tail, flat and covered in harsh spreading hair. Harsh, abundant double coat presented to perfection. Comes alive on the move with sound, brisk strides - there is no telling him he is one of the smallest dogs there! Moves around the ring like he owned it and today he did - delighted to award him BOB & Best In Group. Thrilled to see he went all the way to win Best In Show.

1st McCahill’s Zobear Bumblebee at Drachenfel - 5 year old fawn bitch who presents a square outline when stood. She is of a good size and has good substance for her frame. Round, large head, well pigmented with clearly defined wrinkles. Muzzle relatively short and of decent width and depth. Large, dark round eyes, clear. Ears well set. Enough neck, forelegs of strong bone. Cobby body, ribs well sprung and carried well back. Hindquarters sound and straight with moderate bent to stifles. High set tail well curled over her back. Moved with animation. BOB

1st Price’s Afterglow Nora Batty of Kircyan - 10 month old Affenpinscher with attitude! What a little showgirl - she never once stopped wagging her tail and giving her all to her handler. Compact and balanced of good size and substance for age. Feminine head of good proportions, domed forehead, good turn of chin, marked stop with short, blunt muzzle. Round dark eyes so full of expression, neat ears of good size and set. Good amount of neck into a correct front assembly, forelegs straight. Short backed, ribs well sprung and carried well back. Hindquarters of moderate angles. High set tail curving gently over her back at all times. Harsh coat. Moved soundly with typical front lift. Pulled out all the stops to win Best Puppy in Group.

1st McGroarty’s Stig of the Dump Ardhub - An eye-catching Affenpinscher who presents a square, balanced outline. Ideal for size and substance. Handsome head and expression, well proportioned skull to muzzle ratio. Domed forehead, definite stop and short, muzzle, broad underjaw . Wide opern nostrils, chin well turned up. Lips finishing cleanly. Eyes round, well set and of good size, well set in his skull. Correct ear set shape and size. Good neck, fitting into a sound front assembly, forelegs straight and well placed under him. Nice depth to chest, short backed with solid topline, well sprung ribs carried well back, muscular loin with slight tuck up. Well bodied and muscled throughout. 2nd Martin’s Cranvarl The Student Prince - Black & White Japanese Chin of 18 months. He presents a balanced outline, but is still rather raw at the moment and needs time to fill out and develop fully. He has a beautiful head, broad and rounded skull, short, wide muzzle with good cushioning, nose well pigmented with wide open nostrils. Large, dark round eyes with slight white in each corner, forward facing and giving typical expression of astonishment. Nice neck of good length fitting into well laid shoulders. Front could be tidier. Well sprung ribs carried well back, compact, level topline. Hindquarters sound and well angulated. High tailset with handsome plume. Coat straight and silky. Moved well with coordination.

Well rounded apple domed skull, definite stop and a proportionately pointed muzzle. Dark, large round eyes so full of expression and mischief. Large ears of correct set and size. Good amount of neck, arched and fitting into well laid shoulders. Body proportions correct, slightly longer than high without being overly long. Well ribbed back with good spring. Sound hindquarters. Moved well with brisk strides.

2nd Slack’s Willowheart Louis - A handsome blenheim dog of 8 years old who was unlucky to meet 1st on such good form. Pleasing head and melting expression, good head and skull proportions, nearly flat between high set ears, well cushioned muzzle of good length, strong underjaw. Large, expressive dark round eyes giving a melting expression. Nice amount of neck into a sound front. Well bodied, ribs well sprung, level topline. Hind quarters of correct angles. In good coat and condition. Moved well, perhaps a little proud of his tail today.
