Cocker Spaniels

Huge thanks to the committee of Ashton-in-Makerfield for inviting me to judge Cocker Spaniels, I had a lovely day. Thank you to my fabulous stewards who kept everything running efficiently. Thank you also to the Cocker Spaniel Club of Lancashire for supporting the entry, and to Debbie Grice for the lovely prizes for the class winners. Thanks to all who entered, I was very pleased with the quality of the entry.

1st – Eisen’s Kerriglow Black Dove (BPIB & PG1)

Lovely 9-month-old Black bitch who was beautifully presented today. Nice feminine head with good reach of neck. She has a good compact body, with nice angulation front and rear. Particularly liked her depth of chest and width at the rear. Moved nicely round the ring, very steady showing good drive. Happy to award her BPIB out of a lovely class, and to hear she later went on to achieve Puppy Group 1, congratulations!
