I was the replacement judge for these breeds.

Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this welcoming and well run show. I had a very enjoyable day and your hospitality was excellent. Thank you to my excellent steward Paige Le Moignan for keeping everything in order.

American Cocker Spaniel

Junior

1st Salvages Unveiledjaclee Ace Of Hearts (imp France), B. She has the most beautiful head with deep, square muzzle required. Bright and kind expression from well-shaped eyes. Ribbed well back with strong loin, good turn of stifle and well- muscled in rear. She has excellent reach fore and aft and flows effortlessly around the ring with a lashing tail. Put down in excellent condition.

Post Graduate

1st Kemp’s Arrowbien Ivy Queen, B. Presents a nicely balanced outline with slightly arched neck, Firm topline, deep brisket, well ribbed back, short well developed loin and tail of good set. Pleasing head with a kindly expression. Moved out well when viewed coming and going and in profile. RBOB

1st Weller’s Sabisabi Apache Tonka At Geenawell. D. This young man is of excellent type and presented a well-balanced outline with strong, slightly arched neck, firm backline, deep chest, ribbed well back, short firm loin and muscular hindquarters, tail set on well. Quality head and expression; dark well - shaped eyes, muzzle is strong, deep and square and a soft lip. Moved with stylish smooth action easily covering the ground with plenty of drive from the rear.Presented and handled exceptionally well. BOB

2nd Waldon’s Taramount Golden Ticket, D. This is a very typy boy. Pleasing head, expressive eyes and good balance of skull and muzzle. He has a well laid shoulder which gives him length of neck. Deep in rib, and well ribbed back. Strong quarters that propelled him around the ring.

1st Turnbull’s Drive Wally Sunforest Soul To Soroden (Imp UKR), D. Upstanding boy who is well made all through. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved well both fore and aft and displayed good profile movement. In fabulous coat. BP

1st Stevens’s Hollundex Crazy Horse, D. Not a big boy, but so balanced. Liked his reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Well ribbed and a short loin provided the outline wanted. He is well muscled, and this gave him positive drive on the move. RBOB

1st Hutton-Barber’s Esqueen Following star At Babtonkelpie (Imp Pol), B. Excellent shape with elegance & strength combined. Pleasing head with a good eye & expression. Good reach of neck with an excellent layback of shoulder, firm topline, good tailset & carriage. In good coat and muscle condition. Moved freely, using her tail and showing excellent reach and drive. BOB
