Credit must be given to my two young stewards, Eliza and Isobel, their first time stewarding and what an amazing job they did. My sincere thanks to you both.

Stakes

Cloudside Puppy Dog Stakes

1st Lindley’s Hyerdunscar all About Keith, Bull Mastiff. This young man really emphasizes the breeds’ symmetrical and powerful traits. Large square head with enough wrinkle, short muzzle and well set on ears. Wide and deep through chest and well developed hindquarters showing a decent second thigh. The handler got the best out of him on the move, showing great balance, powerful thrust from behind.

2nd Melbourne & Murray’s Dilheath Chekov, Basset Hound. Very affectionate young man that has such a character! Handsome boy with the broad rounded skull that the breed standard asks for. Good overall balance with super bone and large well knuckled and padded feet. Smooth and powerful on the move.

3rd Redfern’s Elmahan’s Last Jedi, Scottish Terrier.

Otterswish Puppy Bitch Stakes

1st Taylor & Johnson’s Wrenwrox Royal Gem Avec Sifrason, Lhaso Apso. Beautifully headed young lady, with such a soft expression. Balanced body proportions with good ribs extending well back, well developed hindquarters with enough muscle, and the firmest of toplines. She covered the ground freely, with style and such jauntiness.

2nd Tully’s FinchamShe’s A Rainbow, SFT. Very well made all through. Excellent head and expression. Correct forehand construction. Well ribbed back leading through to correctly set tail and strong hindquarters. Good bone and feet. Moved well and displayed good open side gait when viewed in profile.

3rd Robbins & Rowark’s Brekswood Honey Bee. Golden Retriever.

Chanderhill Junior Dog Stakes

1st Williams’s Cocker Spaniel. Loved this boy for his superb movement, typical & masculine head and a lovely dark and alert eye. Strong neck leading into well placed shoulders, deep chest with a good spring of ribs, strong loin & excellent rear angulation. Free striding, sound and merry mover. Handled well and presented in tiptop condition.

2nd Bradbury’s Fourastay Flapjack. WHWT, very smart young man showing his ego to all. . Clean lines throughout. Compact in body, a level topline and super quarters. On the move he is true and fluid.

3rd Fawcett’s Starjanda Mr. Bright Sky. OES

Andlare Junior Bitch Stakes

1st Bagshaw’s Skylax All The Stars. Lhaso Apso. Really taken with this youngster, appealing bitch who is all in proportion. Lovely head with kind expression, well arched neck, deep chest and a firm topline. Strong hindquarters and good tight feet. Moved fluidly on a lengthy stride

2nd Bradbury’s Fourastay Flower Power, WHWT. Excellent overall balance and typical outline. Good head that gently tapers from eye to muzzle, expressive eye and great pigmentation. Deep chest with tight elbows and well sprung ribcage. Well- muscled hindquarters. Moved with drive with extremely good hind action

3rd Lowes’s Nasiriyah’s Bye Bye Baby. Wire-Haired Dachshund.

Goldenhicks Special Beginners Stakes

1st Dawson’s Priorpark Problem Solved, Rhodesian Ridgeback. Handsome boy that oozes the dignified intelligent look the breed requires. Lovely kind expression in a well- balanced head. Well- constructed with good depth, strong loin and cracking hindquarters. Well- muscled which gave true, free movement fore and aft.

2nd Groves’s Bushwacker Demetrio, Bracco Italiano, upstanding dog showing strength and good balance. Strong neck leading in to well-placed shoulders, strong quarters which were well muscled, and in turn gave positive movement.

3rd Burrows’s Twirlytops Lest We Forget, Pug.

Mybeards Open Stakes

Amazing quality throughout this class and many were in contention for a place.

1st Preece’s Spanish Water Dog. D, One I judged as a youngster and I am so pleased he has fulfilled all his potential. Masculine balanced head with a good muzzle. Deep body, short coupled and showing a firm topline on the stand and on the move. Good ground covering movement showing briskness, reach and drive. His well curled woolly coat was in fantastic condition.

 2nd Thornley’s Fast Love With Locheil Shcex JRT. Super boy. A real showman with a very striking head. Correct body shape with good fore and aft angles. He looks a picture on the stance. On the move he has powerful driving action. Well-presented and very well handled.

3rd Walker’s NewtonwoodDouble Dare Of Follyglen, Havanese.

Adjucet Champion Stakes

1st Allen-Davern & Hughes Siberian Husky, Ch Siberiadrift Keep The Love For Zimavolk JW Sh.cm. Striking boy that has a most appealing intelligent look. Well-proportioned wedge shape head, muscular well- constructed body, giving a compact appearance. On the move this boy excels , a driving, fluid and effortless propulsion with excellent footfall.

2nd Fryer’s Sh. Ch. Fonesse Dirty Dancing at Carolco. American Cocker Spaniel D, Lovely size and balance, typical head with the best of expressions from well-shaped eyes. Strong neck of good length leading into well placed shoulders, very good angulation with good width to second thigh. Moved true and effortlessly.

3rd Williams’s Ch Wilmerella Go West. Min. Sm. Dachshund.
