Junior Handling - 6 – 11 Years (6)

1. Beau Casey 11 year old showed a Russian Toy. Handled carefully when placed on the table and paid attention to where I was standing when I was going over the dog. When I asked for a triangle the dog was attentive to his handler and was very happy to move around the ring at a good pace. Very difficult to separate the two excellent junior handlers, but the Russian Toy just gave his handler that extra sparkle when moving. Best Junior Handler

2. Addison Pedley-Biggins aged 11 showed a Whippet. Sympathetic handling was shown to the dog when placed on the table. Moved her dog well around the ring and paid attention to where I was standing.

Junior Handling – 12 – 16 Years (4)(Abs 1)

1. Texas-Lee Dunstone aged 12 showed an Affenpinscher. Texas-Lee handled her dog very well on the table and moved at the right pace for her breed. I liked the good rapport she had with her dog and kept an eye on where I was standing in the ring.

2. Thomas Taylor – aged 12 and was showing a Scottish Terrier. Handled and showed his dog very competently, but needs to relax a little more when moving his dog. Very smartly dressed young man with a very willing terrier.

.Adult Handling – 17 – 39 Years (6) (Abs 3)

1. Tieryn Clark – Presented and handled her Old English Sheepdog very competently. Tieryn showed a good rapport with her dog enabling the dog to stand four square while I went over her. Moved well and at the correct pace for this breed.

2. Kirsty Mabin – Presented her Shetland Sheepdog which stood very well on the table. The dog was happy and attentive to handler but didn’t move as well when completing the triangle.

Adult Handling 40+ Years - (19) ((Abs 10)

1. Bev Hucker – Showed a French Bulldog. Stood patiently on the table as I went over him. Moved effortlessly when asked to complete a reverse triangle. He was very attentive to his handler and didn’t notice that I had looked at him on both sides, and his handler correctly stepped back to let me see the whole dog. Best Adult Handler

2. Janet Rice – Showed a Tibetan Spaniel. Another excellent handler who knows how to get the best from her dog. Stood beautifully on the table and when asked to perform a reverse triangle happily did so with a wagging tail. Also paid attention to her handler when I viewed her from both sides. A very difficult decision but the winner’s movement gave him the class.
