What a lovely friendly show this was; my thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me.

RETRIEVER (CURLY COATED)

JUNIOR

1st EPSILON ADHARA AT MOLOKAIN. RBOB. BP. This is a very nice puppy indeed. She presents so well on the stack and is a beautiful shape. She has the bone and substance that is fundamental to this breed yet still appears elegant. She is deep in brisket, has well laid shoulders and length and return of upper arm giving plenty of dog in front. Ribs are well sprung, loins well muscled and she has wide and powerful quarters with a moderate turn of stifle. Her head is pretty and wedge shaped with dark almond shaped eyes set correctly. In very good coat and condition; moved with a precise footfall. Puppy Group 2.

POST GRADUATE

1st FOXRIEVER GREY GHOST. Well balanced and upstanding dog who has plenty of heart and lung room and good lay of shoulder. Carries a level topline and a crisp coat. He has a very handsome wedge shaped head with small ears and oval shaped obliquely set eyes.

2nd MOLOKAIN HOCUS POCUS. She is a lovely type with plenty of substance, a lovely head and expression but tends to sink into herself and her young handler got the very best out of her. Decent coat but not as crisp as the winner’s and wasn’t as positive behind.

3rd TESSMENE TEMPEST SKY AT BEAUPORT

OPEN

1st TESSMENE TOP NOTCH BY KAGEMUSHA. BOB. This dog has such a very good coat it being a thick mass of tight crisp curls. Sadly, the others in this class were either shedding or out of coat and this was a deciding factor. He is well ribbed back, longer than tall, has an excellent pro-sternum, is strongly boned and has moderately well muscled quarters. He has a handsome wedge shaped head with expressive dark eyes and small well set ears. He presents a good outline with a level back and a moderate bend of stifle and has the required touch of elegance about him. Covers plenty of ground on the move but could have gone with a bit more verve.

2nd BAZZY INTI ANKA AT MOLOKAIN (IMP CZE). Not in the coat of the winner and not as good in hind movement but he is balanced and presents a strong and powerful outline. Would like a touch more length of foreface.

3rd HOPEALL AND AAT’S BUD SPENCER (IMP GER) DEU JCH)

RETRIEVER (GOLDEN)

Puppy

1st ROSINANTE HERE WE GO AGAIN. BOB. BP. I gave her litter sister the same award a short time ago and I love this one just as much. Her head is beautiful with exquisite chiselling and dark eyes with dark rims. She has a good length of neck with a beautiful crest to it which flows cleanly into her well laid shoulders. She has well boned legs and lovely round feet, plenty of depth and muscular quarters with good second thigh development. Her front legs are placed well under her body, she has a firm straight topline and her tail set and carriage are perfect. She carries a dense coat and moves on a long stride.

2nd BREKSWOOD GENTLEMAN JACK. This boy has a fabulous head and expression and he presents a fabulous shape with good angulation. I loved his wide deep muzzle and well developed nose. Moves well.

3rd TONARA YELLOWSTONE

YEARLING

1st VAN GOGH OF SUNSHINE'S VALLEY WITH TODDROSA JW (IMP BEL). He has excellent height to length ratio, there is plenty of dog in front and he has a firm level topline, strong quarters and an excellent tail set. I loved his well balanced head and dark, kind eyes. Easy mover.

GRADUATE

1st VAN GOGH OF SUNSHINE'S VALLEY WITH TODDROSA JW (IMP BEL) Rep.

2nd ZANNAGOLD FOLLOW THE SUN AT BANNERSOPH. Racier in outlook than the winner and I would like a stronger neck but she has a good head and eye and moves well.

3rd ESME BELLA CANIS KARPATY OF ZLATAZAR (IMP SVK)

POST GRADUATE

1st MOSSBURN GOLLY MISS MOLLY JW. RBOB. Balanced bitch with a very good forehand and front angulation placing her legs well under her body. Firm straight topline, well developed quarters and well set tail which she uses to advantage on the move.

2nd CINDERBANK MOVE IT JW I liked this dog a very great deal and found him very well balanced with a superb head. I was splitting hairs here. Had he carried his tail a bit lower he would have clinched it.

OPEN

1st MOSSBURN GALLOPING MAJOR JW. A quality dog who is so well made with a clean and muscular neck, well laid shoulders, deep, well sprung ribs, excellent coupling and wide well angulated quarters with good development of second thigh. Gorgeously handsome head. Moved OK but proud of his tail

2nd LEITITIA ANZHELIKA. What a pretty girl she is and clearly has the best of temperaments. Not in her best coat today.
