Puppy (3)

1 Giles-Wyatt’s Clarismore Crown Prince. Dog with correct head proportions with soft appealing expression, dark eyes, good pigmentation and ears of correct length. Ample neck leading into well placed shoulders, well off for bone. Balanced outline, level top line stacked and kept whilst on the move. Ribbing carried well back with corresponding short loin. Moved well coming and going and in profile. Well knuckled feet. BP. PHG1. RBPIS.

2 Thornton’s Maplelayne Look It’s Barbara (AI) Bitch with good head with slight dome, dark eyes and good pigmentation. Well positioned shoulders, good length of ribbing. Body proportions slightly longer than 1. Top line level stacked and kept on the move. Moved well coming and going. Looked good in profile. Movement not quite as positive as 1. Well knuckled feet.

3 Ambridge’s Julemark Chaos.

1. 1st in Puppy. Giles-Wyatt’s Clarismore Crown Prince.

2. 3rd in Puppy. Ambridge’s Julemark Chaos. Dog with good head, masculine all through. Expression not quite as soft as1. Good front, good length of ribbing and well bent stifle. Level top line kept on the move. Little longer in body proportions than 1. Moving round the ring this dog showed off his attributes. He presented his owner with a challenge on the stack. I hope that she will persevere with his training.

Post Graduate (1)

1 Whitton’s Haggatty Callisto JW. Feminine bitch with good head and hazel eyes. Good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Good front, ribbing carried well back with corresponding short loin. Good bend of stifle. Kept a level top line standing and moving. Moved with reach and drive. Just a tad close behind. Movement was good in profile. Well knuckled feet. BOB

1 Thornton’s Julemark Primrose At Maplelayne JW. Bitch with good head, pleasing expression, dark eyes and ears of correct length. Good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Good front and bend of stifle. Held a level top line on the stack and whilst moving. Moved with reach and drive, just very slightly wide in front. Well knuckled feet. In the challenge just preferred the BOB’s body proportions. RBOB

1 Larkin’s Asharaa’s Hey There Georgy Girl. Bitch with flat skull, correct head planes and dark eyes. Good length of neck leading into sloping shoulders. Good front, deep ribs, good turn of stifle. Correct ridge. Top line held whilst on the move. Free movement. Compact, well knuckled feet. BOB

2 Healey’s Kiromol Reckon I’m Hot. Bitch with good head, dark eyes, slightly longer in muzzle than 1. Clean, sloping shoulders, good ridge and bend of stifle. Top line held whilst moving. Movement not quite so positive as 1. RBOB

PBGV Osbourne’s Beaujons Wayne Sleep With Braego. Dog with a happy disposition. Well balanced and compact with true movement coming and going. Slightly domed head with dark, oval eyes. Good neck leading into well positioned shoulders. Good length of ribbing and bend of stifle. Level top line standing and on the move. Movement was free with good drive. Good feet. BAVNSCP

2 Stratton’s Justartee This Is Me. Basenji. Bitch with balanced head, dark eyes, neat, small, hooded ears and wrinkled forehead. Balanced square body with short level back. Good length of neck leading into well positioned shoulders. Medium front, moderate bend of stifle. Moved true coming and going. Correct tail, neat feet.

3 Unett’s Harvidene Cuckoo In the Nest.

1 Gray’s Short Legs Reijvi Light Up The Sky At Bassoto (IMP NLD). Basset Hound. Feminine bitch, well balanced with considerable substance. Domed head with some stop and prominent occiput. Decent neck leading into well placed shoulders. Chest developing, top line rises up slightly. Would like a firmer under line. Moved true coming and going.

1 Gray’s Forever Long Ears Love At The First Sight At Bassotto (IMP HUN.) Basset Hound. Bitch with good head planes and pronounced occiput. Well placed shoulders and rounded ribs. Good substance. Good bend of stifle. Would like a more developed chest. Held topline whilst moving true coming and going. Correct tail carriage. Well knuckled feet. Won this class on movement.

2 Bates’ Marksbury Rockerfella At Karames. Bloodhound. Dog with masculine, noble head, long and narrow with pronounced occiput and dark eyes. Would like a little more length from end of nose to stop. Ears of good length. Long neck leading into sloping shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Although movement was rather untidy at times swinging, free movement was also evident. Long, thick tail carried scimitar style. Feet well knuckled up.

3 Cooper’s Houndsbay Vito Andolini.

1 Skerritt & Betts’ Monkhams Nightingale JW. PBGV. Bitch, feminine all through. Well balanced, compact, with good bone. Good head with dark, oval eyes and ears set low. Well positioned shoulders, level top line and a good bend of stifle. Rounded ribs extending well back. Moved true coming and going. Harsh coat. Correct tail carriage. Neat feet. BAVNSC

2 Broad’s Bronia Wolfgang Puck. Miniature Long Haired Dachshund. Dog with conical head and dark eyes obliquely set. Balanced body proportions. Well positioned shoulders, prominent chest, ribbing carried well back. Level top line. Good bend of stifle. Moved with parallel movement and reach and drive. Neat Feet. RBAVNSC

1 Searle’s Stonemartin Bron. Azawakh. Bitch with long lean head, pronounced occiput and dark eyes. Correct body proportions being slightly higher than long. Good reach of neck leading into long shoulders. Forelegs standing well under her body. Compulsory white on all four feet evident. Moderate front and hind angulation. Prominent hip bones. 1 Wilson’s Boughton Busy Lizzie For Hamiltonhill. Whippet. Bitch with long lean head. Good length of neck leading into well positioned shoulders with flat muscle. Deep chest facilitating heart and lung room. Good front and good bend of stifle. Not moved by owner so a little unsettled on the move but at times could see long easy strides covering the ground well, which with her shapely, curvy lines won her this class.

2 Reed & Pace’s Dejare Dreaming On And On. Whippet. Bitch with good length of neck leading into slanting shoulders. Preferred head and front of winner. Good heart and lung room. Good bend of stifle. Moved out holding her top line.

1 Lahood’s Starceylon Spectre. Dog that won this class on movement. Long, lean head. Built on shapely lines. Preferred top line to 2. Good neck leading into slanting shoulders. Good heart and lung room. Moved with some drive covering the ground well. Knuckled feet. Best AV Hound

2 Nunneley’s Kelsmonk Kind Of Magic. Dog with long lean head which I preferred to 1. Good neck leading into well placed shoulders. Good amount of heart and lung room. Well bent stifles. Movement not as precise as 1. Knuckled feet.

1 Skerritt & Betts’ Beaujons Vagabond Of Monkhams. PBGV. Dog of good size and proportions and good bone. Pleasing head with dark eyes. Good length of neck leading into well layed shoulders. Prominent chest, ribbing carried well back. Good hind quarters and bend of stifle. Coarse coat. Moved true coming and going with good reach and drive keeping a level top line. Neat feet. BV

2 Richardson & Woods’ Woodella Purple Haze Over Cooperland ShCM VW Basenji. Lightly built feminine bitch with typical head, dark eyes and hooded ears. Good length of neck well set into shoulders that are well layed back. Medium front, good top line, moderate bend of stifle. Moved true coming and going. Neat feet.

1 Boggia & Graham’s Rubicon’s Songbird By Boughton (IMP USA) Greyhound. Quality, feminine bitch with flat skull and long head framed with rose shaped ears. Would just prefer her eyes to be a shade darker. Long neck leading into slanting, well laid shoulders. Deep chest giving plenty of heart room. Ribs carried well back. Good bend of stifle. Hocks well let down. Moved freely with good driving action. Compact, well knuckled feet.
