I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of the invitation to judge. Many thanks to the stewards who made my classes run smoothly, and to all the exhibitors for their entries. It was a pleasure to go over your dog’s today. PUG P (3,1) 1. Saffer & Swinges - Bubbapug Summer Sundae. An 8-month-old fawn bitch puppy, a lovely feminine head with dark lustrous eyes which gave her a soft expression. Well set on button ears, ample workings for her age, open nostrils and wide underjaw. A good reach of neck, a good forechest, level top line and high set tail. Her pigment was good over all, but would have preferred darker nails. Movement was good and moved around the ring with purpose. BPIB. Happy to hear she won Toy Puppy group 1. 2. Duncanson`s – Redrovia`s Black opal. A very raw 6-month-old Black girl with a gleaming black coat. She had a lovely head, button ears, dark eye with a soft expression. High set tail, level top line. Longer cast than 1st. Unfortunately, on this occasion, this little girl would not allow me to go over her on the table. I’m sure this is something that be rectified with some more training. She otherwise, did very well at her first show. Movement was ok. PG (4,2) 1 Truelove`s Nijacpugs Hot An Bothered - A very smart 19-month-old dog, beautiful large well worked head, dark eyes, well set on button ears, open nares, wide underjaw. The darkest of pigment contrasting well with his soft pale jacket. Well arched neck leading to a level top line and high set tail. Straight front, good forechest and turn of stifle, an overall nicely balanced, well angulated dog. Moved with drive around the ring. I was pleased to award him BOB. Was delighted to hear he won Toy Group 4. 2. Butterstone`s Britishglory Avril at Joshotto – 20-month-old bitch with a very pretty soft melting expression. A nice round head, button ears good contrasting pigment. A good top line,high set tail, well off for bone, moved well around the ring. O (3,2) 1. j Truelove`s Nijacpugs Hot as Hell JW – Another super dog from this kennel, 19 months old litter brother to my BOB. Very similar qualities to his litter brother, large well worked head, good pigment, plush pale short coat. Straight front, level top line high set tail.Good bone and well angulated, neat feet dark nails. Good movement.
