Many thanks to the Secretary and his welcoming committee for such a lovely appointment at this fairly new event, now in its 2nd year, great atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy their day. Delighted to see my BOB was chosen for RBIS and my puppy being awarded BPIS, congratulations to you both on a successful day.

1. Evans’ Amerigo Della Terra Dei Fuochi at Makaevo (imp ITA). 6 months old and very raw but equally a promising youngster, masculine head with a lovely expression, flat skull and well set ears, strong neck and shoulders, excellent bone, liked his body proportions, very loose going away but he’s just a baby, he showed some excellent movement in profile and was presented in excellent coat and condition, BPD, BP & BPIS.

1. Delgaudio’s Makaevo Delgaudio. Just turned 12 months, broad skull with good head proportions, good feet and bone, would prefer better overall proportions but he had a sound top-line and good depth of chest, his angles were moderate front and rear and he was well muscled, would like a better lay to his shoulder but he moved out soundly with purpose and a steady gait, BD & RBOB.

1. Evans’ Makaevo Renato. Nearly 4 years old, this dog was a lovely shape standing and moving but he had too much wrinkle over his foreface and I would like cleaner eyes, he had good bone, lovely depth and shape of rib, sound in top-line, today he lacked body condition and was quite unsettled in his movement.

1. Evans’ Makaevo Tullio. 3 years old, broad masculine skull, nicely angulated front and rear, muscular neck and strong shoulders, he had good bone and feet, liked his overall body proportions, firm top-line and he was well muscled in rear, he moved out well when settled into his stride, RBD.

OB 3(1)

1. Drake’s Elena (imp ESP). Really nice bitch of 4 years old, feminine head with just the right amount of wrinkle, she had excellent feet with good bone, well set ears, good depth of chest, liked her angulation fore and aft, she was balanced all through with a sound, firm top-line, she moved out beautifully when she settled into her stride and was presented in excellent condition, BB, BOB & RBIS.

2. Evans’ Makaevo Solista. 3 years old with feminine head but just a little too much excess wrinkle, feet could be better, strong neck and shoulders although a little loaded, her body proportions and angulation were good, she was well muscled and showed some sound profile movement but could be cleaner going away in the rear, RBB.
