National Working & Pastoral Breeds Society

Many thanks to this friendly Society for the opportunity to judge at this show, I had two amazing stewards who worked so hard to keep the ring moving and they were such lovely company, thank you.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (TERVUEREN)

JD/B 1(0)

1. Pratten’s Bergeau Feels Like Home. Very feminine bitch of 9 months with a beautiful expression, well set ears and good head planes, lovely eye, good angulation front and rear with depth of chest, even at this young age, lovely outline and well ribbed back, presented in excellent coat, very excitable on the move but she’s still a baby, lots of future promise, BOB & BP.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (MALINOIS)

PGD/B 2(1)

1. Fenby’s Goldmali Somebody To Love. 2 year old feminine bitch with lovely expression and dark eye, well set ears, arched neck with good angulation fore and aft, sound top-line, liked her overall shape and outline, she was balanced and moved out well with a free and brisk gait, presented in excellent condition with good muscle tone, BOB.

OD/B 2(1)

1. Willingham/Metfalf’s Goldmali Salute Belshedo. A very vocal 2 year old male who had a lot to say for himself! Masculine head with alert expression, dark eye and well set ears but preferred the head of my PG winner overall, well muscled and very fit, good shoulders, good bone but feet could be tighter, when settled he showed some sound movement in profile, found him slightly overdone, well presented coat, RBOB.

AV IMPORTED REGISTER BREEDS (PASTORAL)

PGD/B 3(0)

1. Abbott/Beeton’s Rastafellows Omg Che Gentile (imp FIN). Strongly made male of 21 months, liked his broad head with good width to his muzzle, would like a darker eye, good bite, nicely angulated with elbows set well, strong legs and pasterns, well sprung ribs, he moved out with a free and easy gait, BOB.

2. Henshaw’s Whitehemi’s Brabham. 17 month old male, a dog I have judged before, he just wasn’t settled today unfortunately, expressive masculine head with good ear set, straight legs although would like tighter feet, today he was a little down on his pasterns, well presented, when he focused he showed good reach and drive on the move.

3. Perera’s Blanchutton Argent Bella.

OD/B

1. Abbott/Beeton’s Bellezzalana Arturo. 6 years old, well made and powerful, broad head, dark eye, good angulation front and rear, balanced outline when standing and moving, coat in excellent condition, I just preferred the rear movement on the day to the winner of PG, RBOB.
