Tynedale Agricultural Society

Thank you for the late invitation to judge Utility breeds and group due to the original judge being taken ill, the weather and photos didn’t bode well for a welcoming day, to everyone’s surprise the sun came out and it was a truly beautiful day, thank you to the exhibitors for accepting my placings with good grace, I enjoyed my day.

AKITA

1. Simpson’s Rominjay King of My Heart. Powerful young red and white male of 8 months, masculine head and expression with well set ears, broad muzzle, good pigment, dark eye, well set shoulders and good top-line, tight feet and excellent bone, liked his tail set and carriage, moved out well with purpose, BOB, BP & PG4.

2. Simpson’s Snowbeach’s She’s All That to Rominjay. 4 year old red and white bitch who I believe was the dam of class winner, feminine head with lovely eye, good forechest, not the angulation of above, sound top-line, moved a little close in rear going away but sound in profile, in excellent coat and condition.

1. Spoors’ Lady Angelique. Balanced red bitch of 14 months, correct pigment, well set ears, good bone, clean front and rear with well set and carried tail, nicely angulated, she moved out well with a free gait, in good coat.

2. Hunt/Oliver’s Songshijia Chief Kwangchow. Red dog of 14 months, masculine head and expression with good eye and pigment, well set ears, legs could be slightly straighter but he had good bone and moved out well.

1. Hunt/Oliver’s Mosspark Blue Spangle VW. Blue bitch of nearly 7½ years, liked her for shape and outline standing and on the move, lovely eye, well set ears and good bone, clean angles, she was compact with a well set tail, lacked a little animation on the move but her movement was effective in all directions, well muscled condition, BOB.

2. Adam’s Stanelle Toffee Apple. 6 month bitch learning the ropes, she was nicely constructed with feminine head and expression, good ears and pigment, quite a nice outline and quite naughty! just needs a little more ring-craft training and confidence.

1. Young’s Carkenar Jimmie Dodge JW. Fawn male of 14 months, dark eyes with good ears, balanced head, good bone and feet, compact with gently roached back, muscular, moved out steadily in profile but a little untidy going away, presented in good coat and condition.

1. Young’s Clonnysmush My Sparton. Brindle with masculine head and expression, darkest of eye and good pigment with well set ears, good bone and feet, nice outline standing and moving, top-line could be better but moved cleanly in all directions, BOB.

1. Chesterfield’s Ithera Dulce De Leche into Burnsett. Beautifully presented gold bitch of 18 months, very feminine in head and expression, excellent mouth, nicely angulated front and rear, lovely outline both standing and on the move, sound in top-line with good tail set and carriage, moved well when settled, in excellent coat and condition.

1. Chesterfield’s Phareal Heartbreaker into Burnsett. Mature 3 year old gold male with masculine head and expression, good mouth, strong neck and shoulders with good bone, excellent top-line with good tail set and carriage, free, active movement and presented in tip top condition with good muscle, BOB & G2.

1. Gavin’s Violaceous Lady Marmalade. Very well balanced p/s feminine bitch, oval dark eye, neat high set ears, lovely shape standing and moving, good neck and shoulders, good feet and bone, well set tail, free movement with good reach and drive, harsh coat well maintained, BOB, BP, G4 & PG2.

2. Brown’s Violaceous Could It Be Magic at Wansbeck. 11 months, p/s male who was presented in lovely condition, masculine head and expression with good eye and well set ears, nicely angulated with sound, level top-line, good tail set and carriage, he moved out well with an easy gait. 

3. Collins’ Oldbashurst Ha Giang.

1. Bell’s Glockens Everybody’s Talkin. B/s male of 18 months, lovely outline standing and moving, masculine head with dark eye, level top-line, lovely angles all through, strong rear with good tail set and carriage, presented in excellent coat, could have had a little more animation on the move.

1. Purves’ Kitsune Cream Fudge. Young cream bitch of 12 months, feminine head and alert expression, she used her ears well, straight legs and good feet, preferred the shape of BOB, not at all settled on the move but presented in lovely harsh coat.

2. Purves’ Bulabs Blonde Lady. 9 year old cream veteran bitch, feminine and expressive head with well set ears which she used to advantage, good angles, she was a nice shape standing and moving and she covered the ground well with ease, blowing her coat today but she was well muscled and full of personality, BOB.

1. Young’s Chesterhill Oceans Orca at Anorien. Elegant black male of 7 months, long head, lovely chin and gorgeous dark eye, good length to neck and well laid shoulder, tight feet, appealing in outline standing and moving, moved beautifully around the ring, presented in immaculate condition, BOB, BP, G3 & PG1.

2. McIntyre/Smith’s Kayth’s Carte Blanche. Cream bitch of 14 months, another presented in beautiful condition, well chiselled feminine head, lovely eye and expression, good neck and layback, ribs well sprung, strong loin, she moved out soundly with a free gait.

1. McGouran’s Little Thom. White bitch with dark eye, long head, her angulation front and rear were ok but felt she was a little long in body, she had a strong top-line, deep chest, straight legs, she moved out steadily but would have liked more drive, lovely temperament, BOB.

1. Kendrick’s Kalawoo Maverick from Isishouse. Gold and white male of 8 months, immaculately presented, broad head, good width to muzzle, wide nostrils, large dark eyes, good mouth, nicely arched neck, well laid back shoulder, balanced on the move with correctly held tail and carriage.

2. Stevenson’s Bishopspark Holly. 3½ year old gold and white bitch, very feminine head and dark eye, not the angulation of 1, good body proportions, tail could be set better, moved out well and had a lovely temperament.

Quality black and white bitch of 8 months, lovely feminine head and expression, liked her shape and outline standing and on the move, sound in top-line, lovely arch to neck and well set shoulders, excellent tail set and carriage, presented in superb coat and condition, BOB & BP.

Gold sable bitch of 7 months, very feminine head and expression, strong muzzle, lovely eye, well set ears, strong neck into well placed shoulder, good rib and well muscled rear, when she settled she showed some sound movement in all directions, in lovely coat and condition, Best AVNSC P & PG3.

Beautifully presented black male of nearly 3 years, masculine broad and balanced head with strength in muzzle, excellent pigment with lovely dark eye, strong neck leading into a well set shoulder, lovely square outline with sound top-line and well muscled rear, lovely tail set and carriage, he moved out effortlessly with strong reach and drive, Best AVNSC & G1.

2. Cladwell’s Valkira Secret Love at Taighmuiln. Kooikerhondje. Red and white bitch of 2 years, feminine head and expression, nice eye, pendant ears, good neck and shoulders, level top-line, well sprung rib, strong hindquarters, moved well in profile, a little wide coming towards me, coat in good condition.

3. Maxwell’s Rontenburn Alaldia. Tibetan Terrier.
