Many thanks to the Secretary and her committee for the kind invite to judge bitches at their open show which was run alongside their Championship show, I had a lovely welcome to the show and I enjoyed the day immensely, pleased to see many of my bitches win the top overall awards, thank you for such a lovely day.
MPB 1(0)
1. Jarvis/Troisi’s Cedarcreek Uptown Girl. Promising baby of just 6 months at her very first show and she took it all in her stride with such confidence, feminine head with well set eye of good colour, good bone and feet, head developing well, well set ears of good size, strong neck and good angles, nice body proportions, well carried tail, she moved beautifully when settled into her stride, BPB and pleased, in agreement with my co-judge be awarded BPIS.
JB 4(2)
1. Sheehan’s Powderhounds Sparks Will Fly at Amaqqut (imp USA). Well presented bitch of 16 months, feminine yet strong head with good eye and ear set, good strength in muzzle with correct bite, strong shoulder and pleasing front assembly, sound in top-line and broad well muscled hindquarters, well furred tail, she moved out with a powerful stride, BJB & BJIS.
2. Holt’s Breconfrost She’s Mystical (AI). Liked this bitch of 13 months for her overall balance and outline, strong feminine head with obliquely set eye and well positioned ears, strong bone and compact feet, lovely angulation front and rear, sound top-line, she wasn’t particularly happy today but when she settles I’m sure she will have a promising future.
PGB 7(2)
1. Burgess’ Tolketna Top Of The World to Mountainglen. Lovely bitch of nearly 3 years, broad strong head yet feminine with friendly expression, good ears, liked her front and rear angulation, good depth of chest and sound body proportions, firm in top-line, well furred and carried tail, she was powerful on the move and covered the ground effortlessly,
2. Jelfs’ Chayo High Jinks with Lapema. 19 months and another lovely bitch of quality, the most feminine and expressive of heads with correctly set eye and good ears, strength in muzzle and good bite, liked her body proportions and depth of chest, well ribbed and well muscled all through, she was balanced and free on the move and has a promising future, a little out of coat today.
3. Aitchison/Hurst’s Kaskae My Wonderwall. 5 years, feminine head and friendly expression with good eye, strong neck and good shoulder placement, a little long in body for me but she moved out well enough in a spacious ring, in lovely coat and condition.

A lovely class.
1. Page’s Snow legend Zest For Life Cedarcreek (imp RUS). 3 year old bitch of excellent quality, a powerful and strong bitch with a good head and well set eye, strong muzzle, lovely front and rear angles, good body proportions and sound top-line, would prefer a slightly better tail set but she moved out well covering the ground with a strong powerful gait, presented in excellent coat and well muscled condition, RBB.
2. Aitchison/Hurst’s Kaskae’s Fire Opal (AI). 3 years and another nicely balanced bitch of lovely quality, she had a beautiful feminine head and expression with well set ears and obliquely set eye, she was shapely in outline and on the move, liked her strong neck leading into an excellent front assembly, she had lovely body proportions and showed sound typical movement especially in profile.
3. Perfitt’s Samjoe From Russia With Love JW. 3 year old bitch with the most beautiful temperament which was in evidence with her young handler later in the stakes classes, lovely feminine head and expression, well set ears and friendly expression, good angles and top-line, soundly angulated all through, she moved out cleanly with power, well presented.

Sp VB (7-9 years)
1. Brouard’s Ch/Jsy Ch. Sutarka Coco Chanel at Orsamals PDH. Loved this feminine girl of 7½ years showing no signs of her veteran years, she had power but femininity all through, balanced head proportions with correctly set ears of good size, lovely eye placement, excellent neck and shoulders with strong bone and compact feet, ideal top-line, she was sound and balanced on the move, well set furred tail that she carried with attitude, BB, BVB, delighted she was awarded BIS on the referee’s decision and later went on to achieve BVIS to put the icing on the cake.
2. Burgess’ Cedarcreek Forever Young at Mountainglen. 9 years, feminine with expressive broad head although did prefer the overall proportions of 1, good angles front and rear with nice length of leg, sound on the move in all directions, lacked tail furnishings.
3. Innes’ Icycool Oriana. 7 years, feminine head and lovely expression with small neat ears, well set eye, soundly angulated front and rear, would prefer a better length of leg for balance, firm top-line, well set and carried tail, she moved out with a powerful and accurate stride.
Sp VB (10 years+)
1. Brouard’s Dreamwolves J’adore at Orsamals PDH. 10½ years and in excellent condition for her age, feminine head with friendly expression, broad skull, ears a touch big for me, strong feet and bone, good depth of chest and ideal proportions, nicely angulated, she moved out well with a lovely free gait, presented in excellent coat and condition.

3. Dziergas/Ashworth’s James Bond Illa Kuvianartok at Nunataq (imp POL). 2½ years, strong masculine head and good strength in muzzle, dark eye, could have a little more bone for me, good depth to his chest, a little untidy in his rear movement today.
Sp Working Certified Dog 3(1)
1. Brouard’s Jsy Ch. Orsamals Pepe Le Peew (GKC) PDH. 6 years, masculine head with lovely expression although would prefer a slightly darker eye, strong feet and bone, soundly constructed all through and balanced throughout, well carried tail, moved out with a purposeful stride, Best Working Certified.
2. Sheehan’s Ch. Cedarcreek Frozen River. 9 years, masculine head and expression, lovely temperament, well boned and powerful, ideal body proportions and balanced, strong neck into good shoulders, powerful hindquarters, firm top-line, moved steadily but his angulation suggested he could move out with better reach and drive, well muscled.
Health Junior Stakes Dog 2(0)
1. Facer’s Chayo Unlock The Power. Nearly 12 months, masculine head with friendly expression, chest needs to develop further, strong feet and bone, would like better body proportions, firm top-line, today he was just a little uncoordinated on the move, presented in good coat and well muscled condition.
2. Holt’s Breconfrost He’s Magical (AI). 13 months, masculine head although I preferred the overall head of 1, ears could be smaller, strong neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, top-line could be better, moved out with a steady gait.

Soundly made young dog of nearly 2 years shown in lovely condition, masculine head with well set ears and correct eye, strong neck and soundly made front and rear, liked his body proportions, well carried and furred tail, he was free on the move and shows a lot of promise, just needs to mature on to see his full potential, Reserve Best Special Health Stakes.
