Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at such an enjoyable show, with the unexpected heat I was relieved to be able to move to an inside ring part way through the day as I was concerned it was getting too hot for the dogs, and myself. I must also give credit to my lone steward Lily who kept the ring moving smoothly and efficiently

1st McDonalds Roanjora Cremant D'Alsace 10 month IRSW a very pretty bitch with a classic head, clean square muzzle and a kind brown eye, good width of skull finished off with a well set ear. She has a beautiful outline with a strong topline, laid back shoulder and a lovely front assembly which is matched by her wide quarters giving clean powerful movement. BP PG 1
2nd Wynne-Evans Walshaw Let's Dance for Droveborough 6 month English Setter baby. O/Belton in lovely condition, she is so feminine with the softest of expressions. She has plenty of front for one so young and lovely bone and feet. Not quite as together on the move as my winner but very promising.

1st Tyes Irisbel The Greatest Showman at Tymora 13 month Field Spaniel male. Strongly constructed throughout with a masculine head, the correct amount of stop and plenty of backskull.Clean through the neck and shoulder with excellent angulation, he has deep ribs with plenty of bone and well shaped feet. Muscled stifles enabled him to power around the ring BOB Grp 3

1st Kemps Arrowbien Ivy Queen American Cocker Spaniel. Pretty buff bitch with a plush muzzle, scissor bite and well shaped eye. She has a good shape to her head set off by low set ears. She has a strong front, good topline and lovely feet. Moved out true but had given up when it came to the challenge.
2nd Wellers Sabisabi Apache Tonka at Greenawell Particolour American Cocker Spaniel. Bigger, more substantial dog with a masculine head, plenty of stop correct eye and low set ear. He has a firm topline with a good ribcage, on the move he had good drive but was not as tidy in front today.

1st Thackers Hartsett Vanity Fair Mature O/Belton English Setter with a lovely dark expressive eye and classic head. She has a good length of neck and a strong topline with well sprung ribs. good width of thigh and well shaped feet. A lovely profile action finished the picture RBOB
2nd Richardsons Bluesprings Now I'm Here at Forestfire Striking Irish Setter in gleaming coat and condition. Masculine head with a dark eye and a lot of stop. He has plenty of bone, not as tight in foot as I would like shorter nails might help. Not as positive on the move as my winner

1st Davey & Truss Surrazil Lasagne 7month L/roan so smart and feminine with a well shaped head and kind eye. She has a lovely front assembly and a topline held well on the move. She needs to mature in body but is so tidy and positive when moving immaturity is not a concern at this time. BP PG2
2nd Warringtons Zakova Santana Much bigger more substantial black dog with a strong head. He has balanced angles and plenty of bone. Moved out with a good profile action.

1st Taylor-Kistners Merry Cocktails Spice of Life at Frieljoanipa (imp SWE) Classy black bitch just shy of 13 months. Compact with well sprung ribs and lovely angulation. She has a feminine balanced head with soft expression and low set ears. On the move she showed that true merry cocker action, just lost out on top honours today but definitely one to watch. RBOB
2nd Hutsons Stobytill Bootylicious Pretty B/roan of correct size and bone, she has a compact outline but I would like a touch more backrib. Broad stifles gave drive

1st Warringtons Zakova Wise Guy JW Fully mature, bold masculine black dog. He has a square muzzle, good stop and well shaped skull with a kind eye. He has a lovely layback of shoulder and good front assembly. Strong topline with plenty of rib and broad rump giving plenty of reach and drive. BOB
2nd Hutsons Stobyhill After The Storm B/roan dog with a gentle expression and balanced head set off by lowset ear and good length of neck. Not quite as good in shoulder placement as my winner.

1st Walker, Walker & Bellamys Dexbenella In My Dreams 14 month bitch with a lovely shape and depth, classic head with plenty of work in it and well shaped eye. She has a pleasing reach of neck with a laid back shoulder, still needs to finish as one would expect at this age but had plenty of rib. Broad stifles gave strong driving movement.
2nd Cliffords Dexbenella Oasis Dream of Chamford Another lovely dog, just a bit rangier looking today. He has lovely bone and balanced angulation, moved cleanly but lost his topline a little on occasions.

1st Proctors Petranella Perfick Bliss Mature bitch with a feminine expression and good length of muzzle. She hs a clean neck which flowed into a great shoulder placement. Plenty of rib under a firm topline with a strongly made rear. Put down in gleaming condition showing great reach and a lovely profile action RBOB
2nd Dexbenella In My Dreams (winner of prev class)

1st Strovers Seaspring Windcatcher at Chipewyan Eyecatching bitch so balanced in outline with a beautiful head and eye. She has a nicely arched neck which flows into well laid back shoulders. She has just the right amount of leg to body ratio and a good spring of rib. Broad nicely shaped rear meant she could cover the ground showing great reach and drive. BOB
2nd Walkers Dexbenella It's Only Me Another striking dog with a classic masculine head, good fluting and well shaped skull. Clean through the neck with a strong topline and balanced outline. Maybe the heat got to him as he wasn’t as happy on the move as my winner.

1st Broadbents Gemswin I Am Sailing Well built dog with a nicely moulded head and correct eye. He has lovely bone and depth of rib just needs to finish off and mature in front. He has a strong topline and firm coupling leading to a lovely broad thigh. He was so tidy and collected on the move.
2ndBellamys Bochilbarley My Girl. Finer bitch with just enough bone for her size, she has a feminine head, nicely shaped with well set ear. She is balanced in angulation with depth of chest but not as strong in topline as my winner on the move.

1st Bowens Clandrift Bring Me Sunshine JW A very striking dog with lots of ring presence. He is a good size but has bone to match without being overdone. He has a classic, masculine head with a lively brown eye, firm through the neck and shoulder with a matching rear that gave strong driving movement. RBOB

1st Bellamys Moontorn Better Half Of Me JW This girl took my eye on my first look and I was not disappointed when I got my hands on her. She is beautifully made, so well angled with the most delicious head and eye. She moved out with grace covering the ground so well. Put down in the most fabulous condition just gleaming in the sunlight. When it came to the group I could not look past her BOB Grp 1
2nd Rotherfield Just For Show Taller well built male with good length of muzzle and a well shaped eye. Well made front with good depth of body, strong topline but a little too overdone in the rear for me. Moved out well, would like tighter feet.

1st Hardings Eveninghill Red Sky At Night 17 month bitch of lovely colour and condition. She is beautifully balanced with the sweetest of heads, well made and set off by cracking pigmentation. She has good leg to body ratio and lovely construction which showed in her true clean movement. RBOB
2nd Barnes Fizoena Sky With Diamonds 9 month pale gold bitch who is nicely put together. She has a sweet head with a well shaped eye and good pigmentation. Everything is in the right place construction wise with pleasing legs and feet, she just needs to mature to finish the picture BP

1st Pounds-Ponghursts Mossburn Galloping Major JW Really well made dog who presented a lovely outline. He has a masculine head with a bright eye and plenty of backskull. A strong clean neck flowed into a cracking front assembly with plenty of rib. He is balanced in leg to body with a well muscled rear which he put to good use on the move winning him BOB

Two very typy bitches here I just preferred the head on 1st at this stage
1st Watkins Saranden Be True 6 month pretty yellow bitch. She has the sweetest of heads with a soft brown eye, lovely pigment and balanced ratios finished off with a tidy ear. She has a lovely outline with a good layback of shoulder and flowing topline. Broad well turned stifles finished the picture, steady and true on the move. BP
2nd Reardons Sarenden Leap Of Faith to Othamcourt Looking at my catalogue I see she is a litter sister to my winner no wonder I had difficulty in splitting them, I am sure they will swop places in the future. She has a feminine head just not quite the stop and width of skull at the moment. She is so well made throughout with strong legs and feet, clean and true mover.

1st Kerrs Trulace Ambassador 2 year old upstanding chocolate dog with a splendid depth of colour. He has the kindest of heads with a soft expression set off by nicely placed ear which he put to good use. He has a lovely deep chest, good bone and feet and a strong, broad rump which gave plenty of drive. BOB

1st Edlins Mistcapel Storm Shadow 8 month liver ticked dog with a pleasing outline. He has a balanced head with a tight lip and nicely shaped eye. He still needs to grow on and finish but he looks to be going in the right direction, lively and tidy on the move. BP RBOB

1st Warringtons Zakova Aria Very tidy bitch put down in hard condition. She presents a strong outline and has a lovely feminine head with a kind eye of good colour. She flows beautifully through the neck and shoulder and is well proportioned throughout. She has a pleasing reach and drive really covering the ground BOB

1st Edlins Graygees Tsarine Mature bitch with a kind eye, tight lip and good breadth of skull. She is a touch wider in front than my ideal but has deep ribs and a firm coupling. Her well muscled rear gave plenty of drive.

1st Wynne-Evans Droveborough Frost Queen 16 month b/w bitch who has a feminine head with a good stop and plenty of work in it. She has a lovely layback of shoulder with a complimentary return of upperarm and good brisket. She holds a strong topline, correct underline and moved out with a good profile action.
2nd Norbury & Ganneys Heartbury Matador 15 month l/w dog just at that rangy stage at the moment needing a bit more width to balance him out. Well developed head with strong stop and good skull. Clean arched neck, flowing topline and good bone presented a pleasing picture. He has a strong rear used well on the move.
3rd Barhams Alozia Zephryne Just giving too much away in maturity and finish but she is nicely put together with lovely legs and feet. Well shaped rear gave drive on the move BP PG4

1st Welch, Drake & Hazeldines Clamerkin Jubilee Surprise at Hookwood Beautiful bitch with a classic head and intelligent expression. She is well made throughout with an arched neck, firm topline and good spring of rib. Moved out covering the ground well, pushed hard for top honours.
2nd Wynne-Evans Droveborough's Royal Flush Stronger headed bitch who was carrying a little extra weight today. She has pleasing angulation and a good topline which she held well on the move showing drive.

1st Welch, Maber & Hazeldines Sharnphilly Toggi with Hookwood JW Quality b/w bitch who looks impressive stacked and on the move. She has a classic head with good stop and plenty of work in it. Clean arched neck flowed smoothly into a lovely front assembly. She is well ribbed with a firm coupling and pleasing rear. Sound and powerful on the move BOB Grp4
2nd Perrens Evaluna Chasing Rainbows with Hookwood JW Different type to first, her head needs a touch more work for me but she is feminine with a bright well shaped eye. She has a pleasing outline with balanced angles, smooth and true on the move RBOB

She is well proportioned for one so young with super legs and feet. Moved out with lots of enthusiasm over style but managed to get herself collected together in the puppy group to earn PG3

1st Barhams Kenwardgold Minnie Me VW 9 year old l/w ticked Pointer with lovely muscletone. She has a balanced head with a kind eye and fine ear leathers. She is well angulated with true sinewy legs and good feet. One the move she was clean and true. I was delighted to watch her take a well deserved BVIS
2nd Barkleys Cherryheath's Mr Mojito Mature WSS with a classic masculine head, he is just losing his colour a bit through his coat. He is nicely made with good rib and plenty of rear angulation. Steady mover.
