Candice Parker-Smith (Bratticus)

Firstly, I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge these classes at the GSA club show. I received a lovely warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed my day.

Special Award Junior D/B: 4 entries

1. 12, HALLIDAY, MS M J, HERO MAJESTIC MANON LESCAUT YENNADOM (IMP CZE) (D)

Lovely masculine head on a sturdy youngster. His facial tan is a rich chestnut. Long, lean neck leading a sloping shoulder and good strong chest with plenty of room. His topline remained level as he moved straight and true. Strong bone on all legs with plenty of drive from behind. Moved really well.

2. 30, SMITH, MRS C L, GLENMAURANGI APOLLO AT GLENKINCHIE (D)

Another lovely head with good colour, handsome. Broad chest giving plenty of room for his young age. Level topline when on the move. Straight, strong upright pasterns. Just preferred the movement of 1st on the day.

3. 6, EVANS, MR F & MRS S M, LANGSTRUMPF DANDELIONA (AI)

RES. 7, EVANS, MR F & MRS S M, LANGSTRUMPF VILLEKULLA (AI)

(Two very excited siblings who thoroughly enjoyed their time in the ring.)

Special Award Post Graduate D/B: 4 entries (1 abs)

1. 2, ACKERLEY-KEMP, MRS N, YENNADON HIGHLAND HEIDI (B)

This young lady stood out with her movement as soon as she entered the ring. Pretty, feminine head with well set ears. Fully in proportion with good chest depth, level topline and strong thigh with second thigh. Neat feet. Coat free from curl with good colour. Definitely fit for purpose with all the drive from behind she needs.

2. 8, FUDGE, MS C, FIELDBERRY SECRET WEAPON AT RUFUSMOOR JW (D)

Very much bigger dog to 1st but still in proportion with strong chest. Great bone leading to good oval feet. Topline good on the move. Plenty of coat in beautiful condition, close to 1st but just preferred the overall movement of 1st on the day.

3. 35, WILLIAMS, MR B & MRS E M, LONGROW LOVE IS THE DRUG (B)

Special Award Open D/B: 3 entries

1. 15, JONES, MRS A & MR D C, ROYDACK THE DUCHESS (B)

Another very feminine girl with a lovely head. Chest has plenty of room and she is well boned with neat feet. Her bend of stifle allows the good movement she has. Coat well coloured and free from curl. A dog fit for purpose who moved with drive and purpose, happy in her job.

2. 14, HALLIDAY, MS M J, YENNADON REISS SGWC (D)

What lovely drive still from an older boy. Good chest with plenty of room. Forelegs well boned. Topline stayed level on the move. Coat still in lovely condition for his age. Just preferred the freer movement of the 1st on the day.

3. 21, NAGATY, MR R MALBECK MALDINI (D)
