I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their Christmas Show this year. What a warm welcome and well organised show. Although it was a lovely sunny day, our ring outside was rather cold to say the least. We all got on with it but some of the dogs found it chilly and the sunshine a little bright. However, thank you to all exhibitors who one entered under me and those who were present on such a chilly day near to Christmas.

Puppy D/B 3 entries

1. Mrs K M Marsh’s KILNRAE BACK TO THE FUTURE (B) Have seen this puppy in photos but first time in real life and what a lovely girl she is. Floated round the ring with a purposeful stride and a happy expression on a very feminine head. Good topline, well sprung ribs and long from hip to hock. She stood out in the line for a youngster. 2. Mrs T Bryant’s LAURELHACH LOTUS WITH MUCKYPUPS (B) Nice feminine head with a chest full of room. Neat feet. Good spring of rib but not got the stifle and movement of 1st. Topline straighter when moving than when stood.

1. Mrs H J & Miss S J Tye’s ROYDACK BLACK KNIGHT AT TYMORA (D) Lovely handsome head with good chest and forelegs with neat feet. Long topline line which sloped a little and made him move towards three tracks.

Post Graduate D/B: 3 entries (1 abs)

1. Mr K & Mrs R Horler’s COLOURBOX WILD WEST WITH RACKENS (D) Lovely head and a happy boy moving round the ring. Neat feet from good forequarters. Well ribbed up from a strong topline. Moved a little close behind when windy. RBOB.

2. Ms K McCarthy’s HERNWOOD WIZARD OF OZ JW (D) Another lovely head with happy expression. Plenty of room in chest and neat feet. Moved a little close at front and behind today.

Limit D/B: 3 entries

1. Ms M Morgan’s CARADILIS SKY ROCKET JW (D) What a handsome boy who moved with drive and enthusiasm round the ring. Good neck with plenty of chest to well boned forelegs and neat feet. Strong topline and stifles well bent. A little distracted by the ladies especially when standing today but overall deserved the win from his presence and movement. BOB.

2. Mrs L Harris’ ANNIE-MACRAE DOWRY TOWN OF BONNIENITCH (IMP CZE) (B) Very feminine head on a strong neck with a good roomy chest. Could move with more drive but she wasn’t impressed by the cold wind and sun in her eyes today.

3. Mrs J Gunnery’s LONGROW LOVE OF MY LIFE (AI) (B)

1. Ms K McCarthy’s HERNWOOD BOSTON HIGH FLYER (D) Kind expression on a handsome head. Strong neck leading to a chest with plenty of room and good foreleg bone. Neat feet. Moved a little close at rear today.
