1st Roulston’s Brocolita Clementia at Ivyjewel. 2 year old bitch. Lovely feminine head, well set and carried ears and nice dark eye. Clean neck into well laid shoulders. Good straight front. Level topline with good hind angulation. Well presented and balanced, moved with drive. Best of breed

Glen of imaal terrier

Puppy

1st Hannigton’s Boudivella Fire Cracker, 8 month old bitch. Well presented young girl with a feminine head of the correct proportions. Good front with well laid shoulders, rise over the loin into strong hindquarters. Very balanced on the move considering her age but covered with the ground with ease. Couldn’t help but to smile at her as her personality came through on the move, aptly named. One to watch. Best Puppy

Open

1st Hannington’s Boudivella Osca. A firm favourite of mine who today did not disappoint. 9 year old dog, good masculine head with well set ears. Muscular neck into a good front. Well developed body with a nice topline. Well muscled hind quarters which powered him around the ring. Best of Breed

Jack Russell Terrier

1st Evans’ Jackpack Picture Perfect. 9month old bitch, feminine head with nice expression, well defined stop. Correctly placed and carried ears. Clean neck into well angulated front. Good topline which she maintains well on the move. Best puppy.

2nd Askews’ Calavey’s Hypnotist 10month old dog, well sized. Flat skull which tapers into a strong muzzle. Keen expression and the personality to go with it. Strong neck into good forelimbs. Balanced throughout, moved with purpose and turned out in good coat.

Special yearling

1st Thornley and Smith’s Dancing in the Dark at Robythorn. 22month old well balanced dog. Nice head of the correct proportions. Clean neck and well boned, good front. Well sprung rib. Muscular hindquarters with good angulation. Maintained topline well on the move.

2nd Reeve’s Roxway French Connection. 17 month dog. Overall pleasing dog, of good proportions and nice shape. Much of the above comments apply here. Better earset than 1st. Not moving to his best today.

Manchester Terrier

Open

1st Walshaws’ Kentwone Lyra at Janmark. 2 year old bitch. Feminine head with small, neat well set ears. Dark almond shaped eyes. Good front with balanced, well angulated hindquarters, nothing exaggerated. Well marked and glossy coat. Once settled, moved well with drive and sound. Best of breed.

2nd Knights’ Talanors Typically Elite. 4 year old mature dog. Not the confidence of 1 today. Masculine head with good ear set and carriage. Well marked coat. Very balanced with correct fore and hind angulation, again not exaggerated in anyway. Could have done with a tad more hind drive.
