Thank you to the society for the invitation to judge at their 80th year anniversary show and for the warm welcome to your well run and organised show.

My thanks also to my very efficient steward Lauran who kept us all in order.

And finally thank you to the exhibitors for bringing your lovely dogs for me to judge, they all did you proud and i had some very difficult decisions to make.

All were presented in good clean condition and temperaments were fantastic.

We had a fair sized outdoor ring and i tried to move you as much as i could to keep you all warm.

That being said i do feel some places were adversely affected by the cold and i would love to see them again on a warmer day

Junior (2/1)

1. Pace Miss N Sadiedel’s Arab Girl. 10 months black spotted female who is developing just as expected. She has a lovely head with the kindest expression and a twinkle in her eye that just says i have the potential for a bit of naughtiness. Good lay of shoulder and a good firm topline for one of her age, tail set on and carried correctly.Nice round bone into tidy feet and on the move she came into her own. Nice steady gait although she did have a little puppy exuberance at times i saw enough in her to Award BOB and BPIB. I was delighted to hear she was awarded Puppy Group 2 by Mary Sparks.(Dalimar)

Post Graduate (3/0)

1. Pace Miss N Sadiedel’s Arab Girl. Repeat Junior

2. French Mr M & Mrs L Tamilanda Instant Sass. 2 years black spotted female with lots to like about her. She is another with a beautiful head and lovely dark eye and the softest expression. Not as long in the loin as 1 but many of the same points apply. She is carrying a little too much weight but i could feel the muscle beneath and she is a cracking girl. Good tight feet and beautifully manicured nails. Standing was a picture. Needs more confidence on the move but still drove enough to earn herself RBOB

3. Pilgrim Mrs M & Mr G Nospars Drambuie. Ideal sized boy with the most handsome of heads who just oozes type. Moved with drive initially but i feel he felt the cold very quickly.

Open (3/1)

1. Tysterman Mrs J & Mr W Carodal Jacobs Ladder. Absolutely cracking 2 year old Liver Girl with so much to like. Her decoration is beautiful and the correct liver colour and she is in pristine condition. Another with super tight cat feet. Beautifully broken ears and her amber eyes just draw you in. Another who initially moved steadily with drive but she lost this i feel due to the cold. I tried to keep them moving to see if she came back to life and I desperately wanted her to do so, but sadly today was not her day.

2. French Mr M & Mrs L Tamilanda Instant Envy. 2 year old black spotted boy who is all male, built at the top end of size but retains balance throughout. Sound mover but todays ring was not long enough for him on the out and back but on the go around he demonstrated a good pace with reach and drive. He has a super handsome head and the gentlest expression and pigment in abundance. Good strong level topline that he held perfectly and tail carried correctly. He has super strong yet catlike feet that could certainly support him for the task he is bred for.
