Dalmatians Thank you to all of the exhibitors for their entries and despite a significant rate of absence the dogs presented were of quality. All had excellent temperaments as I would expect from my breed. Presentation today was impeccable with gleaming coats with no sign of the dreaded “Dally Rash”, Clean Teeth and well trimmed nails. I enjoyed my day with you all Puppy (3/2) 1. Stubbins Mrs R & Mr S. Perditas Bean A Stormy Ride. 7 Month Black Spotted female, Finely Built but with good amount of bone. Well broken ears set correctly and used effectively. Good Clean head proportions with lovely dark eye. Straight Forelegs onto good cat feet and well tended nails. Angulation and balance and muscle exactly as I would expect at this age. Tail set and carried correctly. Would benefit from more ringcraft and being moved a bit more positively to show her to advantage, and although she stood alone in this class and her movement was erratic she improved in the challenge and I saw enough quality to award her BPIB. Junior (2/2) 1. Dinsdale Mrs D. Dotlun Apache Running Bear. 15 Month Richly Liver spotted Male. I have watched this boy with great interest and was delighted to get my hands on him today. Immediately he Fills the eye with his sound construction and beautiful balance. Everything just where it should be. He has the kindest gentle expression on the best of heads. Well laid shoulders and good round bone onto excellent feet. Plenty of heart room in his deep chest. Firm topline which he held well on the move. Good strong second thigh and he moved steadily but with purpose showing the correct reach and drive required. I had no hesitation in awarding him BOB and was delighted to see him attain Utility Group 2 later in the day under Michaela Hall. 2. Horscraft Mrs M A. Manchando’s Sugar Almond. Another liver spotted male but at just 12 months he was giving so much away in maturity to 1. Many of the same points apply to this delightful young man. He is soundly constructed but is rangier than 1 and I would prefer him with very slightly more weight on him just to give him that edge of balance. Another beautiful head with correct eye and he moved with reach and drive. Post Graduate (2/2) 1. Dinsdale Mrs D. Dotlun Apache Running Bear. RPT Junior 2. Stubbins Mrs R & Mr S. Perdita’s Aurelia. Black Spotted B of 4.5 years old. This young lady is so attractive and beautifully marked. Finer in type than the rest of todays entry, but does have good bone. Good Shoulder and close set elbows. Deep chest and well defined tuck up. Level topline held well on the move. Correctly set tail, however she did tend to carry it high on the move. Would prefer a more developed second thigh. Open(2/1) 1. Pickup Mrs C. Dotlun English Rose at Roadcoach. 15 months Liver female, Litter sister to Junior winner and absolutely oozes that typical cheeky loving Dalmatian character. Built on a much more compact frame but truly balanced throughout. Lovely amber eyes set in a very attractive spotty face. Well broken ears used to advantage to frame her feminine head. Plenty of heart room in deep chest and she has a firm topline and strong loin. On the move she gave her handler a hard time and played up a little but I saw enough in this young lady to award her RBOB
