WELLINGBOROUGH &DISTRICT CANINE SOCIETY 28TH JANUARY 2024 TOYS AND TOY GROUP JUDGE ANDY SCOURFIELD A very well run show with some quality exhibits in this group. TOY GROUP 1 PALMER’S PUG Palmer’s Roxmarr Rumour Has It at Comleywood. . What an eye catcher. Lovely head and expresssive dark eyes, great outline , super precise movement, displaying good rear drive, nice topline and tailset with good curl , never stopped showing. I learned afterwards that she has 2 CC’s surely her 3rd cannot be far away . 2 Maskells, Scapafield Schwartz Quarrel (affenpinscher). Loved this little dog. Good head, black twinkling eyes, typical mischievous expression , short compact body with good topline and tail set. Moved out well with typical gait. A great little showman. 3 Smith’s Sueacres Center Stage. Absolutely loved this little orange sable boy . Still a puppy so gave way on maturity to 1 and 2 but has all the essentials, super head, with correctly placed small neat ears, dark oval eye . Body wise he is well made , short and cobby with a good neck. Just the right amount of bone and lovely tight feet . Good quality, well presented coat. Moves out well and shows his socks off. Delighted to award him Puppy Group 1 as well . 4 Hobbs Grande Misterio catte Blanche ato for Beaconsfylde (Russian Toy ) good head and expression nice neck flowing into well placed shoulders, well proportioned body moved and showed well . Toy Group 4 PUPPY GROUP TOY 1 Smith’s Sueacres Center Stage. Absolutely loved this little orange sable boy . Still a puppy so gave way on maturity to 1 and 2 but has all the essentials, super head, with correctly placed small neat ears, dark oval eye . Body wise he is well made , short and cobby with a good neck. Just the right amount of bone and lovely tight feet . Good quality, well presented coat. Moves out well and shows his socks off. 2 Davidson-Poston’s Elena Kolekcja szuwarka Spinillions JW super tri Papillon with the best of heads, excellent ears, good body,well made with good topline, coat of correct texture and in excellent condition. Really comes to life on the move . Must have a great future. 3 Rutherford’s Afterglow Dreamsiclewith Potbelli Another promising puppy, nice head ,ears slightly erratic at the moment but these will no doubt settle . Good bone with plenty of substance throughout. Typical movement 4 Waller’s Scapafield Swartz Swallow at Ulnrose ( Affenpinscher) Good head and expression , ribs nicely sprung, on a good compact body . Well placed ears, good dark eye & Good balance, level topline & high set tail, nice quality coat. Moved soundly. CHIHUAHUA SC Sadly. Only 1 entered today as clashed with a Chi club show locally Open 1 & BOB Davidson – Poston’s Daxivity Bruhn Spillions ShCEx Tri dog 5yrs old. Nice head with good stop and typical expression. Well proportioned body and moved soundly. PUG PUPPY (4,2) 1. Hoare and Phelps Bilokha Kittiwake into Aquitaine. Good head and expression , short coupled , good bone and substance moved well keeping a good topline and tail . 2. JUNIOR ( 1,0). 1 & BP Rutherford’s Bilohka Dawn Patrol well made bitch of 11 months, cobby with plenty of substance, good round head with excellent wrinkle, level topline and good tail set. Moves out nicely with plenty of rear drive . PG (5,1 ) 1 .PALMER’S Bilohka Howdah at Comleywood.Well put together bitch with a lovely head and expression . Good substance for size and moved out well with a good topline res BOB 2. Lloyd’s Bilohka Brigadier liked this boy v much , similar in type to 1 with a good head and plenty of substance and bone hold a good outline both standing and moving. Moved out well CKCS Puppy (6 1) 1 Jackson Fortuna Major Perseus Tri dog with a lovely head and expression good body proportions and decent topline and tailset. Very exuberant and showed well but front action a little high-stepping . , BP 2 Melville Ouslewells Theodor Sarasota Blenheim 11 months Would,prefer a little more development of the head. But has a good short coupled body and outline is good . Junior (2 0) 1 liverton Ovey Chantismere Conchetta for Halosey 13 months Blenheim with a good head and expressive eyes of correct size and shape, good dentition , nice body proportions and moved well . 2Biddle Theodore James Castellium at Hearth Friend. Tri Boy with a super head and expression , in good coat, not as balanced in body as 1and not as positive on the move . PG (8,2) 1 Case Cobbets pink Fizz at Ginajay BOB Good head , with good typical soft expression , short coupled with good bone and substance, moved well in good coat . 2 Boutle Lilochard Stella Cherry at Applebroad nice bitch with a good head. Outline good and moved well Open (7,0) 1 Hobbs Beaconsfylde Catch The Kiss JW ShCM VW Res BOB V nice dog, who pushed hard for BOB in remarkable condition for his 8 ½ years. Good head with soft expression and a lovely eye, body is well proportioned and he creates a good outline both standing and moving. POST GRADUATE 1 Satchell’s Littlebritton Bombers Moon (italian Greyhound) good body , holding its shape on the move, nice size with good topline and underline, moved soundly but ears could be neater.
