Thank you to the committee for this lovely appointment, thank you to the stewards for keeping the ring moving. Massive thank you to the exhibitors who brought their dogs under me to judge, and to my mentor on the day who was amazing and so informative and engaging.

Junior dog or bitch (3,1)

1. Wright’s Millbelle Thunderfire JW masculine dog, good length of neck with slight arch, into well laid shoulder. Good depth of chest and withers obvious, sound front construction, good second thigh and defined hocks. Moved well in a small ring.

2. Hurst’s Dvojica Firefly for Finnidal Pretty bitch, nice length of neck with slight arch, straight front good depth of chest. Slight rise over loin, good tail set. Paced on the move slightly.

Both youngsters had lovely temperaments

Post graduate dog or bitch (8,3)

1. Pilgrim’s Nospar’s Drambuie Balanced dog, lovely head, good length of neck with slight arch. Sound front construction with adequate depth of chest. Good feet well muscled. Soundest mover in the class.

2. Tysterman’s Carodal Jacobs Ladder Lovely proportioned head, nice arch to neck. Good proportions in front, with good depth of chest. Level top line, slight rise over loin, tail set good. Moved well.

3. Townson & Pardoe’s Sophtspot Phantasia for Daymadals Pretty and famine head. Finer and smaller throughout than others in the class. Good depth of chest, second thigh of good length. Good feet, in hard condition, good pigmentation. Moved out well

Open (10,5)

1. Kembrey’s Dalmark The Ash Blonde Balanced bitch evenly marked, so sound on the move. Good feet. Soundly constructed in front, good topline, slight rise over loin. Maintained this on the move. Good depth of chest, good rear construction. Very pretty femanine head.

2. Kembrey’s O’Malley Des Dalmatia De La Pierre Sarcee at Dalmark Pleasing male of good proportions, sound topline with slight rise over loin. Straight legs in front, good feet and springy pasterns. Stong male throughout. Sound on the move, only slightly out moved by 1

3. Derrick & Ryan’s Kalokairie’s Hocus Pocus Pleasing bitch with good feet. Straight front, pleasing depth of chest, strong topline with slight rise over the loin. Good second thigh and hocks evenly marked on one side and slightly over reaching.
