Puppy (1,0)

1st Bennet, Miss E & Mrs C. WANSLEYDALE BUSY AS A BEE AT CAPROW, 11month old bitch, stunning tricolour, with a lovely typy head, lovely dark pigmentation, elegant and clean shape in profile, excellent temperament, scores in balance and proportions. Correct angulation front and rear. With brisket reaching to elbows, and elbows positioned well into the body. She was a lovely mover, graceful and with good drive. Such a quality bitch. Pleased to award her BP & BOB

2nd Ciaputa, Mrs K A. RAVENSETT COTE D’AZUR, 14-month orange male, another with lovely proportions, excellent muscle tone, elegant profile, good head with kind expression, he struggled with the heat but his temperament was still gentle, he held a level topline stacked and, on the move, with a well set on of tail, and when settled there were glimpses of his good movement. Gordon Setter

Puppy (3,1)

1st Sandiford, Mr P & Mrs C A, HERNWOOD ROCKET MAN, 8 ½ month male, shown in excellent condition and muscle tone for age, lovely typy head, well-proportioned and correct dentition. Good length of neck well-muscled leading to a strong topline, ribs well sprung and of good depth. Nice bone and width across the loins. A really lovely boy, pleased to discover this was his last point for his JW, what an achievement at such a young age! Congratulations BP & RBOB

2nd Sandiford, Mr P & Mrs C A, HERNWOOD RELIGHT MY FIRE, female litter mate to 1st and she has so many similar qualities to her brother, a little less mature in development and not as much muscle tone, but both of these will come with time and I'm sure she will have an excellent future like her brother.

Special Yearling (1,0)

1st Fuller, Mrs J F, BONNIENICHT’S AKINOS GLOW OF ROSEMULLION, 13-month bitch, finer type, lovely head, correct dentition, quite immature still and struggled to show her best in the heat. Moderate angulation, a little high on leg as sometimes happens at the junior 'leggy’ stage, long second thigh, hocks well let down and parallel to ground. Would prefer more length to ribs, but she still has a lot more maturing to do.

Open (2,1)

1st Sandiford & Mazzeo, P & C A, D, HERNWOOD CHRISTMAS PRINCE, Excellent quality mature male, expertly handled, stood alone but well worthy of his win and BOB. Shown in gleaming coat and fabulous condition, pleasing proportions and in profile he really did look dignified and gave the impression of a dog capable of working with no coarseness or exaggeration. Irish Red and White Setter

Special Yearling (1,0)

1st McDonald, Mr R G, Mrs A D & Miss R, ROANJORA CREMANT D’ALSACE, just out of puppy this bitch immediately caught my eye for her stunning outline and beautifully proportioned head. So balanced with superb substance, shown in excellent condition and muscle tone, excellent temperament, stands over the ground well with a strong topline. Open (2,1)

1st McDonald, Mr R G, Mrs A D & Miss R, ROANJORA RIOJA CRIANZA, 4-year-old bitch and dam to winner of special yearling. Well-proportioned broad skull, with correct pigmentation, and good dentition. Neck set on well with well laid shoulders and ribs of good depth and well sprung. Elbows well under the body. Slightly better front than her daughter but not the driving movement, so she had to give way to her daughter today for top honours. RBOB
