Although my only exhibit this young man was shown in the richest chestnut gleaming coat with correct feathering – lean head with dark eye and strong muzzle - lovely flowing neck – good forechest and depth of rib – well-turned stifles – moved ok – slight crabbing but should come in time. BP/BOB

1st Watts – OAKMARSH LITTLE ACORN. Happy temperament – fairly broad and rounded head with correct eye colour – strong jaw and correct bite – good depth of rib – would like more forechest – well muscled rear quarters hocks well let down – correct thick double coat of dead grass colour - moved ok BP Res BOB

2nd Watts,Mellersh-Tett & Mellersh-Tett – OAKMARSH LAND OF PROMISE.

Similar remarks to above but smaller and slightly longer caste – again in correct double coat – with a few white blazes - strong rear – preferred movement on 1

Longer cast and taller - thick coat of correct colour range – strong neck – would like more forechest – good depth of rib – well muscled rear – correct tail set.

Black B with the most sweet feminine head – dark eye – correct ear set – correct scissor bite – good spring of rib – nice rear muscle – just preferred the movement and drive on 1

Pleasing orange roan B – compact and balanced – feminine head and expression - correct set ear and eye shape – front ok with good tight padded feet – level topline – hocks well let down – moved well.

Larger black B in good gleaming coat – Happy expression – balanced head – preferred eye shape on 1 – good front with forechest and nicely spung rib – moved well

A lovely eye catching good sized red D – in full coat of correct texture and feathering – balanced well chiselled head – strong muzzle – correct ear set – moderate neck into well lauis shoulders – nice forechest and deep in brisket – good feet – strong rear quarters - moved with purpose covering ground and tail wagging – delighted to award BOB

2nd West SHEIGRA SIMPLY A STAR JW

Such a sweet black B – lovely head with correct balance - well clothed ears set on level with eye - good front - well sprung rib – level topline – short coupled well muscled rear – moved well.

This was a delightful class to judge with many of these puppies having lots of promise and enjoying their day out in the show ring!
