GOLDEN RETRIEVERS
What a fabulous entry of quality dogs that I had to go over and I thank the Committee and Exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to do so. My stewards were brilliant and kept the ring moving at all times. It was also nice to hear the sporting response on the decisions taken. The ring, although a decent size really didn’t give a chance for the boys to get into a good stride and therefore gave some untidy rear movement, such a shame and was often the deciding factor.
MPD (2,1)
1. Foreman’s Ambersun Summer Sun. Such a shame that this boy stood alone. A 7 ½ month old mid gold baby. He has a super head and pigment. Straight front with super tight feet. Good shoulder placement, level topline and good tailset. Moving well even though he still needs to tighten as yet but he was also enjoying his day which is so important.
