I would like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge Tibetan Terriers at this level in the UK. Thank you to the exhibitors who entered under me and accepted my decision with good grace. Lastly, a big thank you to my wonderful stewards Emma and Margaret.

Minor Puppy Dog (1,0a)

1ST 1490 - Karamyst Flashlight (Mrs Susan Thain) B & W male just 6 months of ages well-presented and shown in excellent condition. His head has the correct proportions, masculine with a good bite. His angulations were good fore and aft with an acceptable spring of ribcage for his age. He was well ribbed back and held a level topline both stacked and on the move. Moved well in profile with a strong rear action, he just needs to settle in front. (BPD).

Junior Dog (4,0a)

1ST 1492 - Jalren Midnight Runner (Mrs R Thurston) 16-month-old, who was shown in excellent condition and handled well. He is masculine with good head proportions and a sturdy body. He has a good spring of rib with depth of brisket to elbow, and well ribbed back. He has the correct level topline both stacked and, on the move, with large round feet. His angulations front and rear are correct. In profile his movement was balanced, and he move soundly fore and aft. He was moved at a good pace, and this showed off his effortless movement. A dog I would describe as honest and worthy of his Res CC.

 2ND 1482 - Araki Yubetcha (L Pediani)

13-month-old – This young male was shown in good coat and condition. He has a masculine head and expression. Slightly broader in skull. He has a sturdy body, square in outline with a good spring of rib. His angulations are good, and he moved well in profile, well behind. His front action just needs to firm up.

 3RD 1491 - Kelmorespitz Finding Magic (Miss L C Thomas)

Yearling Dog (3,0a)

1ST 1463 - Ch Waterley Heart Breaker (Mr G Davies) 18-month-old B & W. was shown in excellent condition and handled well making the most of his many attributes. He has a masculine head of good proportions with well-developed underjaw. He presented the correct outline for the breed and going over this youngster did not disappoint. Sturdy, with a good spring of rib, with depth of brisket to elbow. Well ribbed back. He has excellent angulations fore and aft and held a level topline both stacked and on the move. Correct round feet. He was moved at the correct pace highlighting his effortless and efficient movement. He is sound in all aspects. I had no hesitation in awarding this youngster the DCC & BOB.

Graduate Dog (2,0a)

1ST 1465 - Verony Living Legend (Mr A & Mrs V M Green) 21-month-old male B & W. He was shown in excellent condition. He is masculine head of good proportions. He is sturdy in constitution with a good spring of rib with good depth to brisket and well ribbed back. Acceptable angulations fore and aft, would like him to stand a little stronger behind. He was moved at a correct pace showing a balanced movement fore and aft.

 2ND 1491 - Kelmorespitz Finding Magic (Miss L C Thomas) 16-month-old. This youngster is a little immature for this class and would benefit with a little more body throughout. He is masculine, with good head proportions, would prefer a little more strength to his lower jaw. He holds a good topline standing and, on the move, and was moved at a good pace. Presented well.

 Post Graduate Dog (3,0a)

1ST 1486 - Dejaru Masquerade JW (Mrs D Rudderham) 21-month-old black male. There is a lot to like about this male. Shown in excellent condition and handled well. He has good head proportions and is sturdy in body with the correct outline for the breed. He has good angulations fore and aft and has a good forechest. He has the correct topline both stacked and on the move. His movement was balanced in profile and sound in all aspects. He has quite a profuse coat which for me spoilt my final overall impression of him.

 2ND 1489 - Gentle Sweet Shadow (Mrs Susan Thain)

 2-and-a-half-year-old B & W. Head of good proportions with good bite. A little immature in overall body development. He holds a good topline stacked, good tail set. He is well ribbed back with reasonable angulations. Balanced profile movement, rear action good, front action needs to settle. In between coats at that the moment. Needs more time to develop.

 3RD 1457 - Jam Yang Khor Sangmo La Mani cum Colji (Imp Deu) (Mr C & Mr J Armstrong & Hogg)

Limit Dog (2,1a)

1ST 1487 - Araki Shanastra (Mrs A Sinclair) 3-and-a-half-year-old B& W. Shown in excellent condition. He has a masculine head, with head of good proportions. He is square in outline. Sturdy with well sprung rib and well ribbed back. Acceptable angulations but ideally would prefer a little more lay of shoulder. Moved well behind and in profile would just have preferred a little more reach in front to give overall balance in profile movement.

Open Dog (4,1a)

1ST 1471 - Ch Araki Magic Dancer for Karamyst JW (Miss K King) Almost 6 years of age B & W. He was shown in excellent condition and handled well. He has good head proportions and is sturdy in body. He is square in his outline, with good spring of rib and well ribbed back. He has good angulation fore and aft. A little less neck would enhance his overall balance. He moved well in profile, sound mover in all aspects.


 2ND 1480 - Myrlea Rhubarb Moon (Ms G & Mr P Marley & Thirlwell) 3-year-old male. He was shown and handled well, although carrying a little too much condition for my tastes. He has good head proportions. He has a good spring of rib, well ribbed back. Angulations good. He was moved at a good pace showing off his balanced and sound movement.

 3RD 1488 - Araki Tha Midas Touch (Mrs A Sinclair)

Minor Puppy Bitch (3,0a)

1ST 1477 - Myrlea Just An Illusion (Ms G & Mr P Marley & Thirlwell) 7-month-old female. She was shown in excellent condition and handled well. Feminine with head of correct proportions. Square in outline, sturdy in constitution with good spring of rib for her age, and she was well ribbed back, with depth of brisket to elbow. Her angulations were good, and she was moved at a good pace which showed off her effortless, sound movement. Best Puppy and later I believe was placed Puppy Group 2.

2ND 1468 - Khyibrang Love U Tomorrow (Mrs J R & Miss R A Honey) 6-month-old black female. There is a lot to like about his female, she was shown in excellent condition and handled well. All she needs now is a little more confidence on the table. With that said, she is feminine. She has good head proportions and is square in outline. She is sturdy and has good angulations fore and aft and she holds her topline both stacked and on the move. She has a good spring of rib for her age and is well ribbed back. She moved soundly and was moved at the correct pace.

 3RD 1462 - Pippalata’s Spice of Life (M & J P Coupland-Buckley & Buckley)

1ST 1473 - Araki I Am Hot Your Not (Mrs Y Knight) 13-month-old female. She was shown in excellent condition and handled well. Head of good proportions. She is sturdy with good angulations. She has a good spring of rib and is well ribbed back, with her brisket reaching elbow. Her profile movement was balanced, and she moved soundly fore and aft. She was moved at a good pace.

2ND 1495 - Djankay Black Orchid (Mr P C & Mrs E Wilson)15-month-old female. She was shown in excellent condition and handled well. She has a feminine head of good proportions. She is square, with good a spring of rib and well ribbed back. She has good angulations, correct topline. Her profile movement was balance fore and aft, she moved well behind. Her front action needs to settle.

  3RD 1461 - Pippalata Rebel with A Cause (M & J P Coupland-Buckley & Buckley)

1ST 1485 - Rogspa Sunbeam (Miss Pettit) 19-month-old female. She was shown in good condition and handled well. Feminine, with good head proportions. She has a very sturdy body, with depth of brisket to elbow and a good spring of rib which is well ribbed back. She was moved at a good pace. She had the correct topline. She moved well.

1ST 1473 - Araki I Am Hot Your Not (Mrs Y Knight)

Graduate Bitch (3,2a)

1ST 1481 - Pippalata Overtime Magic (Mrs F Metcalfe) 3-and-a-half-year-old female. She was well presented and handled. She is feminine and has good head proportions. She is very sturdy with a generally square outline. I would prefer her to have a little more lay in shoulder. She has a good spring of rib and is well ribbed back. Would prefer her to move a little more efficiently.

Post Graduate Bitch (4,0a)

1ST 1459 - Kybo Santa Monica (Mrs L & Mr T Bateman) 2-year-old female. She was presented and handled to advantage. Feminine with good head proportions. She is generally square in her outline and is sturdy in constitution. She has a good spring of rib and is well ribbed back, with a depth of brisket to elbow. She has good angulations fore and aft and was moved at a good pace. She is sound in all aspects. There is a lot to like about this girl.

2ND 1472 - Karamyst Love Actually JW (Miss K King) 3-year-old female. She was presented and handled well. Feminine, and of a sturdy constitution. She has a good spring of rib and is well ribbed back. She has the correct depth of brisket to elbow. Her profile movement was balanced and sound fore and aft. Held a good topline stacked, just needs to watch this on the move.

  3RD 1481 - Pippalata Overtime Magic (Mrs F Metcalfe)

1ST 1469 - Khyibrang’s Rose Queen (Mrs J R & Miss R A Honey) 2-and-a-half-year-old female. Show in excellent condition and moved at a pace that showed off her attributes to advantage. She is eye-catching, and feminine in expression with a square outline. She is sturdy in constitution and has a good spring of rib and is well ribbed back with a good depth to chest. Angulations are good. She moved well in profile and soundly behind. She held her topline both stacked and on the move. A lot to like about this girl and she was seriously considered in the challenge.

 2ND 1494 - Palshar All That Glitters JW (Mrs K Willoughby) 3-year-old female. This female is heavily coated, shown in excellent condition and handled well. She is sturdy and has good spring of rib and well ribbed back, with depth of brisket to elbow. She is balanced in outline and held her topline both stacked and on the move. She was moved at a good pace and her profile movement was balanced and moved soundly behind.

 3RD 1474 - Snoanda Morgan Le Fay (Mrs Y Knight)

1ST 1478 - Ch Myrlea Martha Reeves (Ms G & Mr P Marley & Thirlwell) 4-and-a-half-year-old female. This female was shown in excellent condition and handled well. She has a feminine expression, head of correct proportions. I loved her expression. She presented a square outline. She is sturdy in constitution, with good angulations fore and aft. She has a good spring of rib, well ribbed back and held her topline both stacked and on the move. She was moved at a pace that showed off her effortless sound movement. BCC & Best Opp.

2ND 1464 - Ch Waterley Midnight Martini (Mr G Davies) 2-year-old female. This female was shown in excellent condition and handled well, showing off her many attributes to her advantage. She has a feminine expression, and her head is of correct proportions. She is sturdy in her constitution and has a good spring of rib and well ribbed back. She held her topline both stacked and, on the move, and was moved at a good pace. She is sound in all aspects. Res CC.

 3RD 1458 - Snoanda Wizadora (Mrs A J Hearne)

Veteran Bitch (3,1a)

I have the utmost respect for exhibitors and their exhibits particularly in a coated breed, that are shown in veteran. Both veterans are a credit to their owners.

1ST 1470 - Ch Khyibrang Queen of The Straits JW (Mrs J R & Mr A Honey) 7-and-a-half-year-old female. Shown in excellent condition and handled well. She is feminine in her expression with a head of good proportions. She is sturdy in constitution, with a good spring of rib and well ribbed back. She has good angulations fore and aft and her profile movement is balanced, she moves soundly behind. A quality female who I liked a lot, and she was seriously considered in the challenge. Best Veteran.

 2ND 1484 - Kyipo Hold That Thought with Rogspa (Miss Pettit) 7-year-old female. Shown in excellent condition and handled well. She is feminine and her head proportion were good. She is sturdy and has a good spring of rib and well ribbed back. She has good angulations and moves soundly. I just preferred the overall size and balance of my winner. .
