My thanks to Bill, Mandy, my stewards and the Clyde Valley team for their kind invitation and hospitality. They certainly upheld this great clubs tradition with their organisation, hospitality and magnificent specials and awards for the participants. It has always been such a wonderful show for giving as much as they can to the exhibitors and this year was no exception. I am sure Jayne will be looking down with an approving nod. It was a privilege to assess so many fine examples of our wonderful breed, and as a consequence have some tight decisions to make, thank you to the exhibitors for extending me that honour and all the best of luck for the future.

Minor Puppy Dog (2)

1st Sykes EVAWILL ELLIS 19/8/23

Big, strong, masculine puppy with an excellent head and expression, strong muzzle and well placed firm ears. Dark eyes. Very good proportions and solidity. He has very good withers, a straight back, short, steep croup. Good forehand, straight front lines. Very good hind quarters. Slight twist in the tail. Easy reaching and light movements with good hind drive

2nd Halliday ABORIENTELUXS RAUL 15/8/23

Medium size, medium strong. Well pigmented male with very good proportions. He has a very good head, expression and outlook. He has very good withers and back, slightly short croup. Medium fore and very good hind quarters. Stands straight in front. Clean underline. Firm in elbows, hocks to firm. Easy mover, just needing to get that bit more schooling and co-ordination as he develops.

1st CC & BOB Winfrow SADIRA XORROW 8/6/23

Full size, strong, substantial male with a very masculine general appearance. He has excellent overall proportions and a robust and firm build. The well-shaped head has firm ears and a typical expression. He has well filled in withers, straight broad and firm back, the croup should be less sloping. Ideal angulation of the forequarters, straight front lines and correct fore and under chest. Broad, strong and well angled hind quarters. The hocks are slightly narrow but stable. This young male shows absolute harmony both in structure and in movement, with optimum strides and clean lines, allied to an excellent deportment and presentation. A tough call to give him the highest award today given his age, but this is a young male who, when all was taken into consideration, I considered worthy of the accolade.

1st Pegg DAHLMANN XANDER 19/12/22

Big, strong, powerful. Well pigmented. Masculine male with an excellent shape to the head, firm ears, slightly light eyes. Clean overline with high withers, straight back and very good length and angle to the croup. Correct forehand, straight front lines. Balanced chest proportions, strong balanced hind quarters. Sound both ways. Shows plenty of harmony on the move which is reaching, firm and with good hind drive.

2nd Halliday ESKGALE CUBA 4/5/23

Big, strong masculine male with a very good head, dark eyes and plenty of expression. Very good pigment. He has normal withers, a firm back. Slightly short and steep croup. Upper arm could be longer. Fore chest to develop. Straight forelegs. Balanced hind angles and straight hocks. Easy side action with long strides and very good hind drive.

1st Sykes ZANDAMOR GUSTAVO 29/6/22

Big, strong, masculine male with a notably good head and outlook. Full of expression. He has good withers, firm back, slightly steep croup. Medium fore, very good hind angles. Correct front lines and chest proportions. Strong, broad and balanced hind angles. He has particularly clean lines and retains same in a far reaching and powerful trot.

2nd Brown ARDENBURG BIX 6/10/22

Well pigmented male of medium sized and strength. He has a well-shaped head of medium strength, good expression. The withers are normal, back firm, slightly steep croup. Balanced angulations both ends and straight front. Today he needed a little more confidence in his performance. He has an easy movement with good strides and soundness.

1st Rogerson FINLERIC LUGO AT SISKIVA 12/12/21

Over medium size and strength, masculine and solid male. He has a well-shaped head and plenty of expression, his ears are slightly wide set. He has good withers, a firm back, slightly steep croup. Very good fore and hind quarters. Straight front and correct chest proportions. Sound, easy mover with very good reach and drive.

2nd Bracher BLERIO ANUBIS 22/8/21

Big, very well-proportioned firm and athletic male. He has a very good head and expression. Well defined withers, good back and croup. The upper arm is slightly short, very developed brisket. Straight front. Correct underline. Very good hind angles. He retains clean lines in motion, with a reaching gait showing very good hind drive.

3rd Hanley NEERLAWS VADAA 24/11/21

Big, solid, very powerful and masculine male. Well-shaped head with good expression. He has normal withers, a straight back, short croup. Short upper arm, straight front. Clean underline and ribs. Balanced hind angles. Sound with good strides and excellent overall firmness.

Big, strong, masculine male with a particularly well shaped head and praiseworthy expression. Well proportioned. He has very good withers, back and croup. Balanced fore and hind angles, straight front lines. Normal chest development. Not quite in full coat condition. Moves soundly and easily with good strides and firmness.

2nd Redhead TRIMIKAS HELSINKI 11/3/21

Big, powerful, well pigmented. Good proportions and firm build. Excellent head and expression. He has high withers, a firm back, short croup. Slightly short and steep upper arm. Slightly deep brisket. Balanced hind angles, powerful side movements

Over medium size and strength with a very good head, dark eyes and a typical expression. He has very good withers, a firm back, slightly steep croup. Balanced forehand, slightly deep brisket, short under chest, correct hind angles. Sound and easy mover

Medium size, medium strong, very good substance. This male has a particularly good head with dark eyes and a noble, confident expression. He has good withers, firm back, slightly steep croup. Some curvature to the tail. Well angled forehand with straight front lines, deep brisket. Broad well angled hind quarters. Sound. Light easy side action with very good strides

2ND McAteer HUNDARK DRAX 5/4/19

Big, strong, masculine, well-shaped head with an excellent expression. Good overall proportions. He has very good withers and a straight back, slightly short and steep croup. Medium angulation of the forehand, straight front. Balanced hind quarters, firm in hocks and elbows. Very good gait with good firmness.

1st Britnell BLAVEN VOM WANAKON 21/2/21

Richly pigmented sable of full size, who is well proportioned and substantial. The head is masculine, well-shaped and expressive, his eyes could be darker. He has very good withers, firm back, a slightly steep croup. Very well angled forehand, correct chest proportions. Clean over and underlines and very good hind quarters. Lost a little harmony in the challenge where he was certainly a contender. Sound with easy, long striding side movements. Shown in perfect condition.

2ND Mitchell BOBBY DAZZLER 24/12/21

Big, strong, masculine. He has a well-shaped head with correctly placed ears, dark eyes and a pronounced mask. Very good withers and back, steep croup. Slightly steep upper arm, correct chest proportions, clean underline. Very good hind quarters. A sound and easy mover with long strides who retains a pleasing outline.

3RD Smeaton LORGYLE ARRAN 16/8/19

Over medium size and strength, masculine male with good substance. He has a well-shaped head with dark eyes and mask, plenty of expression. He has good withers, a firm back and a short croup. Medium fore and very good hind angles. Slightly east west in front. Clean underline. Moves soundly in front and behind. Easy mover with medium strides and good firmness. A calm and confident male.

Over medium size and strength, typical and very well-proportioned female with an outstanding head, expression and outlook. Harmoniously constructed with clean lines and an absolutely firm build. She has well filled in withers, a straight back, slightly short croup. Very good fore and hind quarters, correct front. Firm ligaments. Moves with absolute harmony, long strides and great carriage. A special puppy.

2ND Winfrow SADIRA YOKKO 12/9/23

Medium size and strength, well pigmented and feminine with a typical, well-shaped head, full of expression. She has good withers, a firm back, short croup, Balanced forehand, correct front. Normal brisket development. Firm, strong and well angled hind quarters. Enthusiastic presentation with a reaching gait showing very good hind drive.

3RD Adam & Hall ARUBA VOM FAIRYCROSS 12/9/23

Medium size, medium strong. Beautiful head with a very typical expression. The withers are well defined, the back firm and the croup of a good length and well angled. Very good fore angles, correct chest proportions and a straight front. Defined hind angulation. Clean lines. Still to firm in hocks. Easy outreaching movement with plenty of purpose.

Full size, strong and substantial with a very good head, expression and outlook. She has good withers, back and croup. Balanced angulations in front and behind. Straight front, correct chest proportions. Very good firmness of build. Sound with very good side movements.

2ND Stanley PINCHMILL ADIRA OF BLANIK 3/7/23

Medium size and strength, very attractive with a correctly shaped head showing plenty of expression. She has a good reach of neck, good withers and a straight broad back, slightly short croup. She has very good angulation of the fore and hind quarters and stands straight. Moves soundly with very good reach and drive, showing plenty of energy.

1st Whitelaw AQUA MAGIC 5/10/23

All black female of medium size and strength. Very good type. Well-shaped and feminine head with firm ears and dark eyes. She has normal withers, firm back, short croup. Good forehand, straight front. Already quite developed in chest and the fore limbs could be a tad longer. Very good hind angles, hocks to firm. Shows good side movements in patches but needs schooling to enhance her potential.

2ND Gouck CRAIGHAIRE CHEWBACCA 5/5/23

Well pigmented, over medium size and strength. Very good head, expressive. She has very good withers and back, slightly short croup. Very good fore and hind angles. Correct chest and straight front. Firm in hocks and elbows, easy side movements.

1st Reid KLEEHUEGEL HOPE AT PORTNALL 4/4/23

Strongly pigmented black and tan of medium size and strength. Well-shaped and very typical head with a defined mask, dark eyes and firm ears. Lively expression. She has very good withers, a firm back, slightly short croup. Well angled forehand with a straight front and good chest proportions. Well angled hind quarters with broad thighs and firm hocks. Absolutely firm all through with a reaching gait showing very good hind drive.

2ND Rogerson HUNDARK HAVOC AT SISKIVA 28/4/23

Big, strong, powerful female who is harmoniously constructed. She has a very good head and a confident expression. The withers are well filled in, the back firm and straight, very good length and angle to the croup. Very good fore angulation, correct chest, the pasterns could be a little firmer. Clean underline, strong, well angled and stable hindquarters. Moves with ease, long strides and defined follow through.

Medium size, medium strong, firmly knit and balanced. This female has a very good head, which is full of expression. Good withers, firm back, slightly steep croup. Good fore and very good hind angles. Straight front lines. Moves with enthusiasm, very good reach, balance and firmness.

1st Turner IMPRANAH KYOGO 23/9/22

An attractive female with a beautiful head and expression. Over medium size and strength with clean lines and very good overall proportions. She has good withers, back and croup. Balanced angulations in front and behind. Slightly east west in front. Not quite in full coat but still in very good condition, she moved with a reaching gait, retaining clean lines at all phases, and showing defined hind thrust.

2ND Miller HAUSMULLER DIXIE 8/7/22

Over medium size and strength with very good proportions. She has a well-shaped and very typical head, expression and outlook with plenty of attitude. She has good withers, a firm back, short croup. Good fore angles, fore chest to develop, almost straight front lines. Very good hind angles, hocks still to firm. She has clean lines and moves with very good reach and plenty of energy.

A lively and spirited sable female of over medium size with good substance. Very good head and expression. Good withers, back and croup. Good angulation of the fore and hind quarters. Straight front. Moves soundly with very effective front reach, balance and strong hind drive.

2ND DeZutter LANGFAULDS DESIRE 31/12/21

Medium size, medium strong, very typical female presented in perfect condition. She has a very good head and expression. Correct body proportions and balance. Very good solidity. Normal withers, very good back and croup. Correct angulations of the fore and hind quarters. Sound in front and behind. Very good side movements.

3RD McGrath & Boyd MASCANI SHANDOR 3/4/22

Over medium size and strength, well pigmented female with good overall firmness. She has a very good head, expressive. She has good withers and back, slightly short croup. Slightly short upper arm, straight front, good chest proportions. Clean underline, balanced hind angles. A little bit close but straight away, firm elbows. Trots with very good reach and drive.

Over medium size and strength, firm, well proportioned and very typical female with a strikingly beautiful and very typical head and expression. She has very good withers, firm back, short croup. Well angled forehand with straight front lines and correct chest proportions, clean over and underlines. Balanced, well angled, broad and stable hind quarters. Absolutely sound in front and back. Excellent muscle tone and condition. She moves with long strides, always retaining absolute firmness, harmony and balance. Excellent deportment and presentation.

2nd DeZutter LANGFAULDS CHIC 11.12.20

Over medium size and strength, firm and in perfect condition. She has an excellent head and expression, good withers and back, slightly steep croup. Medium fore and very good hind angles. Straight front. A little short in under chest. This very typical female is absolutely firm in the hocks and elbows and moves with reaching strides and great energy. Very well presented and in first rate condition.

3rd Johnstone HUNDARK HOLLY PAWS 18/12/20

Big, strong, powerful. Well proportioned, harmoniously constructed female. She has a very good head and expression. Good withers back and croup. Well angled forehand, straight front. Well developed chest and broad beam. Sound and straight in hocks and elbows. Energetic and powerful side movements.

Medium size, medium strength, firm and well proportioned. This well pigmented black & tan female has a very good head and expression. A good reach of neck, very good withers, back and croup. Well angled forehand, straight front lines, correct chest proportions. Well angled hind quarters with broad thighs and straight hocks. She moves with an easy, far reaching and driving gait showing absolute balance, one piece construction and firmness of build at all phases. Excellent presentation and deportment.

Medium size, strong substantial. A very typical and quality female with an excellent head and outlook. She has normal withers, a broad strong and straight back, slightly short croup. Excellent forehand, straight front and correct depth of chest. Broad, strong and well angled hind quarters. Absolutely sound with a reaching gait showing powerful hind thrust. Shown in absolutely top condition and very well handled.

3RD McGough & Summerhill SADIRA REMI 29/3/21

Over medium size and strength, strongly pigmented and very typical female with an excellent head and expression. She has very good withers, back and croup, Balanced angulations in front and behind. Straight front lines, correct chest proportions. Absolutely firm build with clean lines that are retained in movement, the gait showing very good reach and pronounced hind drive. In excellent condition and very well presented.

Of an ideal medium size and strength. This is a firm, well-proportioned and very typical female. Straight front and correct chest proportions. Firm in hocks and elbows. Shows absolute harmony at all phases of movement which is far reaching and powerful with a lot of energy. Very good presentation and carriage.

Medium size and strength, good proportions but just a little heavy in condition. She has an excellent head, expression and outlook, dark eyes. She has very good withers, back, short croup. Very good fore and hind quarters. Straight front. Moves soundly. Good side movements and very good presentation.

Big, strong substantial, well proportioned, still very toned and athletic. Super head and expression. Very good outline and balanced angulations, sound and at 10 years plus still an enthusiastic mover with very good balance, side movements and firmness. This long coated female was In perfect condition and a great credit to all involved with her.

Over medium size and strength, firm, dry, well proportioned with a very good head and expression. She has good withers, straight back, slightly steep croup. Well angled and balanced angulations of the fore and hind quarters, straight front. Easy and reaching side movements.
