I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment at this show . The quality and the number of entries were memorable and surprised me . The past 2 and a half years since I judged in the UK the dogs have definitely improved , not only in health but in the comparison to the Standard, I was particularly impressed by the jaws ,not wry and the width and upsweep very apparent in most exhibits ,the puppies were looking just like ‘puppies’ which I like to see, too mature seems to go ‘off ‘ in older classes . Size seemed quite important to me we must watch that the dogs do keep standard , I’m the first to admire a big dog but its important we keep a close eye on our winner’s size, balance being of utmost importance. My choices, I hope were followable balanced and unexaggerated ,Thanks for giving me the chance to go over your dogs.

I had judged this dog as a puppy and he’s matured beyond my expectation he’s tight and muscular now, well balanced ,good substance bone and correct tail ,great masculine expression ,

3rd: 803 RODGERS, Mr D R D & Mrs C It Ch Buck And Sons Dante At Belushi (Imp) It, this dog really reminded me of the older style dogs the breeder used to have a pleasure to see him

Very ‘minor’ puppy, lovely length of skull with wide open nostrils ,correct ear placement ,well balanced ,nice neck ,enough bone ,a little bit loose on movement but made up for it with enthusiasm

7 months old white pied in lovely condition and substantial bone, would like to have seen more neck but promising puppy

3 years old ,a good all-round sound bitch, excellent layback and expression, good bone moved well .
