Good dentition and finish. His front is well assembled. Good for chest and barrelled rib cage. Short secure backline, tail is high. Well angulated hindquarters. Overall, I admired his thickness of bone. Heavy to lift. Coat was a tad abundant but presented to perfection.

Well boned and balanced throughout with defined waist and correct rear angulations. Just preferred head and expression of 1. A free and accurate mover. Presented to perfection.

Open Dog 5,1

1st Thomas’s Meritorious Welsh Whisper. His glorious shallow headpiece is just so typical and gives a captivating expression from large dark sparkling eyes, short nose with open nostrils and correct pigmentation. He has a good chin and well cushioned cheeks. Great to examine where heavily boned short forelegs fitting close to a deep strong chest is found and a compact body, well ribbed. Distinct waist. I really admired his overall size and shape. Super light red coat is not overdone and presented to perfection. He moved effortlessly with a distinct rolling gait, all totally unexaggerated and dignified. CC (his crown), BOB and Group 3.

Thick strong short front legs, elbows well set. Well ribbed cobby body is maturing nicely. Good for waist and rear angulations. Moved with so much confidence, she was a joy to watch. BPB, BPIB Puppy Group 2.

Well placed nose with open nostrils; neat jaws. Shortish thick neck. Well off for body and substance. Level topline. She moved in harmony with her handler, maintaining the correct pace and demonstrating total soundness. Unfortunately, today her clear red coat was sadly missing and I fully appreciate her owner/handler bringing her along for me to judge and trust her coat will return to complete the picture, adding to her many attributes.

Well placed nose; super nostrils. Sturdy body, elbows tight in and thick front legs. Strong short neck, secure backline, defined waist. She has great depth of bone and substance. Open Bitch 3

1st Klerks-Delucchi’s Klerkshof Country Rose. 2 ½ years old. I spent some time gazing into this magnificent headpiece which is ultra feminine, shallow and wide. Eyes tend to be a primary feature that catches attention and here was no exception. Her eyes are large, round, dark and simply captivating. Nose is well placed and there is a neat finish to the foreface. Well set ears with beautiful ear fringes to frame. Forequarters are nicely constructed with thick slightly bowed front legs featuring tight elbows fitting a chest which is deep and broad. Well ribbed body, evident waist and strong short back. Rear legs are well angulated. She picked up very heavy. Coat was of the correct volume and beautifully presented. She moved beautifully. I simply could not resist her! CC (her Crown).

She has a super shallow, wide head which contains large dark eyes, filled underneath. Neat finish to foreface. Strong, short neck; well-placed shoulders. Forequarters are heavily constructed. Secure level topline, and well set tail. Presented in fabulous order, moving typically with style and accuracy.
