1st: Partington-Palmer & Palmer’s Etruria Hear The Word. 14 months. Quality young dog who is good for size and his classic head is a joy to examine. Ears are of complimentary size, well set and complete the picture. Strong jaws, correct dentition. Nicely arched neck and good for shoulder placement. Compact body and well ribbed. Super coat and rich tan markings. On the move, he is confident and steady.

2nd: Forsythe, Pevy & Leonard’s Witchstone Won't Be Silent By Richpin. 13 months. Another super young dog also good for size, full of quality and well proportioned. I liked his beautiful head and ear carriage. He uses his long graceful neck to advantage. On the stand he is balanced and proportioned. Superb coat with lovely tan markings. The challenge was to separate these two lovely dogs but in the final ‘up and back’ his forehand became unsettled which gave 1 the edge.

3rd: Taylor & Taylor’s Wykewoks Marvellous Murphy.

1st: Wines’s Etruria Say The Word. 14 months. Brother to the JD Winner. The moment he entered the ring his overall size and shape impressed. Head is long and narrow with the desired finish and dentition. Correctly shaped and placed ears. Eyes are dark and of desired size. Fine boned legs void of weakness. Deep narrow chest and correct topline. His body being well put together and proportionate. Neat, compact feet well split up. Sympathetically handled, he was purposeful on the move strongly driving from behind and parallel out and back. Black jacket was shining in the sunlight and rich tan complimented. Clearly on fine form today and in the challenge he moved effortlessly. CC.

2nd: Forsythe & Pevy’s Kikuchi Hollywood Avec Richpin. 17 months. Larger than 1. Lovely head piece with long narrow wedge. Neat ears, well set with flat back skull. Small almond shaped eyes which could be a shade darker. Good for tans and markings. Elegant arch to neck, well laid shoulders. Correct narrow chest with a good spring of rib. Strong, correctly angulated hindquarters. Good topline. On the move, he covered the ground well, driving from the rear and forehand reaching well in front. Close call and considered for the RCC.
