VD/B (4,2) 1. Watson’s Stepdashar Winters Wish, Good size bitch, though shade long in back. Well angulated. Attractive head, flat skull, sufficient stop, strong muzzle. Good breadth and depth to chest. Positive mover in all directions, BV. 2. Stephenson’s Kernow Something Perfect, strong built dog, of excellent bone. Firm topline to rounded croup. Broad flat skull, prefer tighter eye rims. Broad chest. Not as positive mover as winner. MPD (2,1) 1. Reid & Givens’ Fortonpark Senator, excellent presentation, good coat, super boned legs to round tight feet. Very attractive head, well defined stop and good breadth to skull. Ears set a little low. Well developed in chest for puppy. Firm top line, well angulated front & rear. Positive in front movement – just needs to tighten at rear, BP. PD (2,1) 1. Mallett’s Codebern I’m Your Man, ok for bone, presented well with good coat, though it is rather wavy. Tends to roll on the move, though plenty of reach. Well set tail, broad rump, enough neck. Head is developing well, has correct dark almond eye and flat skull. JD (3,1) 1. Dybdall & Lydon’s Rodiveco King of Hearts, good size male with excellent bone, tight feet. Beautiful presentation. Ok for hind angulation but would prefer more angulation in front. Firm top line to good rump, which is broad. Strong masculine head, flat skull. Moved well in profile but would prefer more strength at rear. 2. Cooke & Stevens’ Tickbern Ridin The Moon, not quite the bone of the winner and little narrow in front which tends to make him stand 10 to 2. Less mature in skull, well set ears. Would prefer more angulation front and rear. Moves positively from behind but little erratic today in front. YD (2) 1. New’s Etterbern Forever First, strongly built male, excellent coat, well boned legs to tight feet. Good proportions in outline, correct height to length ratio. Still needs to broaden in chest but forgave for age. Super head, good stop, excellent eye for colour and shape, high set ears adding to breadth of flat skull. Strong muzzle, good flews. Firm topline to excellent rounded, broad rump and well-set tail, which has correct length. Moved well in profile and behind, RCC. 2. Austen’s Norburylou Karias Star, more raw youngster, who needs time to mature. Slightly long cast needs to come up on legs to complete picture. Top line could be firmer. Head still needs time to develop and strengthen, would prefer more almond eye. Broad chest. Moves ok in profile but narrow through. PGD (2) 1. Krjukova’s Finite Melle Dulcior, slightly longer cast dog, prefer shorter loin to achieve 9:10 ratio. Well angulated behind, and good firm back, front angulation could be stronger, has just enough neck. Well developed in chest. Attractive head with good eye and flat skull well developed short muzzle. Moved with drive at rear, and ok in front, holds topline on move. 2. Meakin’s Bernsego Saburban, again longer cast in profile. Well boned legs to tight round feet, – but pasterns could be firmer. Needs to broaden in chest. Good size head, flat skull, correct eye shape and colour. Super rich tan colouring – not seen so much these days. Moved a little erratically today. LD (4) 1. Peacocke & Plant’s Bobb vom Durrbachler Wald, shade long would prefer shorter loin, has good balanced angles, but broad in chest and moves the same. Strong in skull and eye could be more almond shaped, broad flat skull with high set ears. 2. Bridges’ Krimm Bernenska Sfora at Kernow, similar type, feel needs little more length of leg to complete overall balance. Very strong boned legs to tight feet. Would prefer more neck and front angulation, tail could be longer. Strong masculine skull, with good eye strong muzzle. Little narrow in chest which means he doesn’t stand four square. Coud be more positive on move in front. 3. Bramble’s Nelstephbern Me and My Boy with Shirdees. OD (5,1) 1. Dybdall & Lydon’s Ch Carraigbern Noble Heart of Rodiveco, correctly proportioned dog, well presented in excellent coat. Good angulation and medium neck, firm top line to broad rump. Well boned legs to tight feet very attractive head, good strength without being coarse. Dark brown eye, good length of muzzle, flat skull with good width between ears – being picky – ears could be shade higher set. Easy mover in all directions, DCC. 2. Bird’s Ch Cullumbern Milano JW ShCEx OSW, strong built dog, well developed in chest and has good angulation, but not quite the neck of winner. Excellent bone to super tight feet. Well coated and presented. Masculine head, good stop, broad flat skull and correct eye for shape and colour Firm topline, prefer shade more length to tail. Moved with good stride length in profile, but felt he was little loose in front. 3. Cooke & Stevens’ Tickbern Yardhand. Speg Beg absent.
MPB (2) 1. Clough’s Bernark Brown Eyed Girl, promising in outline – just a shade long cast at present, but should come up on legs. In good coat which is well presented. Very good angulation, good top line. Head is attractive, lovely eye, skull obviously still to broaden but has good stop. Chest of good width, still to drop. Moves very well. 2. Vaughan’s Kernow Penguin, Not quite the bone of the winner, would prefer more neck. Head is promising with good eye shape, needs to grow into ears. Needs to settle on the move, still very much a baby. PB (1) 1. Meakin’s Bellatrix Do Monte Dos Ursos, correct proportions in outline and adequate bone for bitch. Good angulation and top line is firm to broad rump. Shown in good coat, well presented. Good bone to legs and tight feet. Head is promising, flat skull, needs to grow into ears. Eyes dark brown but prefer more almond shape. Good strength to muzzle. Moved well. JB (4,1) 1. Wright & Kirk’s High Oaks Still Water Run Deep to Roesilbern, beautiful size bitch, of correct 9:10 ratio, excellent bone and tight feet. Beautifully presented, and lovely rich tan. Well angulated front rear and has broad rump, to well set tail. Head still to mature and at times eye is little loose, enough stop at present. One of best movers of the day, and certainly one to watch as she matures. 2. Bridges’ Oonelladream A Stolen Kiss at Kernow, shade longer cast, very strong boned legs, stands on good feet. At that age where still rising little over loin. Moderate angles, broad chest. Head still to develop and needs to strengthen in muzzle. Correct almond eye. Not as positive on move as winner, but another with promise. 3. Dybdall & Lydon’s Rodiveco Queen of Diamonds. YB (1) 1. Krjukova’s Elbrusbern Aurora, attractive in outline with correct shape and proportions, sufficient coat, enough bone for bitch. Stands on tight cat feet. Firm in topline. Would prefer more front angulation, sufficient width to chest but still to drop. Attractive head eyes could be darker and found ears shade heavy and low set. Good on the move. PGB (6,2) 1. Mallett’s Rodiveco Siempre Regina, good outline and proportions, well boned to tight feet. Shown in good coat, firm back, and with excellent angulation, tail just of sufficient length. Good width to chest. Attractive head, marked stop and flat skull, dark almond eye. Only 2 years old, one to watch. Moved cleanly. 2 Bridges’s Kernow Florin, heavy built bitch, who was carrying a little weight. Excellent coat, well boned and with firm topline. Would prefer a little more neck. Typical head, with lovely expression, flat skull, correct dark almond eye. Would prefer more positive front movement. 3. Watson’s Stepdashar Magical Wish. LB (3,2) 1. Sokel’s Kernow Blue Lagoon, good size bitch well proportioned and in good coat lovely bone and tight feet, with good angulation. Head is well developed, with correct stop and flat skull. Eye is almond in shape being picky would like colour to be shade darker. Moves well in profile but little wide in front and could be firmer behind. But good type overall. OB (8,3) 1. Sutton & Davenport-Willis’ Ch Nelstephbern Dior by Design, this bitch just oozed breed type to me, standing in profile she presents a lovely outline, of correct proportions, in excellent coat and well presented. Strong boned legs, firm topline and good broad rump. Lovely angulation completed by strong medium neck. Super head, so typical and nothing overdone, dark, almond eye, flat skull, well defined stop and balanced strong muzzle, neat high set ears. Moves really well on side gait, with plenty of reach and strong hind action, CC & BOB, delighted to see her take G3. 2. Oliver Bridges’ Ch Liskarn’s Love of My Life, another quality bitch of good proportions and size, without being overdone. Firm top line, excellent angles and chest. Stands on well boned legs to tight feet. Attractive head, dark eye, broad skull, and strong muzzle. Very clean and powerful mover, sadly not in full coat today, but what she had correct texture and well presented. RCC. 3. Dybdall & Lydon’s Ch Rodiveco Queen of Hearts.
