I really enjoyed my first CC appointment with your lovely breed. All of the dogs were clean and tidy and temperaments were first class. Thank to my excellent steward, Shaun Mathison.

Class 999 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2475 MCCULLOUGH, Mrs M & MCCULLOUGH, Mr P Sh Ch Ger VDH Ch Kimmax Kurious George Bs'17 Bs'18. Best Veteran and Dog CC. A dog I have admired before and he is certainly one that will always command attention. Powerful and masculine. Well balanced with a good skull, kind expression, good neck and shoulders. Well boned. Good depth of chest. Some breadth over the loin and hips. Moved out well with a true, sound, driving action.

Class 1000 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2491 COX, Mr Desmond Ovetil Troseberry. Best Puppy. Nicely balanced and very typey. Good head proportions, good eyebrows and moderate beard. Pleasing oval eyes. Well ribbed for age with good depth of chest. Strong, well angulated hindquarters. Still a little uncollected on the move but he is sound and has some drive. Shown in a good jacket.

Class 1001 JD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2473 LOVATT, Mrs Debbie & LOVATT, Mr Paul & GETTINGS, M Beechillawn Break The Mould (ikc). Scored here with his strong, driving hind action. Good head proportions, kind expression, good furnishings. Good forehand with strong bone and decent feet. Good body and ribs extend well back. His front action was a little untidy coming back to me but he was quite exuberant. Very promising.

2nd: 2493 TURNBULL, Mrs E & TURNBULL, Mr G D & TURNBULL, Mis Glenquin The Colonel At Elagram. Masculine and workmanlike with a very pleasing head and expression. Deep chest, well sprung ribs and has some strength over the loins. A shade uncollected on the move today but sound and I think he too, has promise for the future.

3rd: 2468 JOHNSTON, Mr Paul & JOHNSTON, Mrs Linda & JOHNSTON Glenquin The General

Class 1002 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2482 TOYNEBEE-SMITH, Ms Jemma Bareve Bronski Beat. Very typical head with kind expression. Clean, lengthy neck and good forehand with decent bone and compact, well padded feet which I particularly admired. Sound, free moving and with some drive from the well muscled hindquarters.

2nd: 2464 GEARY, Mr Robert & GEARY, Mrs Amanda & WILKINS, Mi Wesley Vom Alte Wald At Germanus (imp Hun). Masculine and workmanlike, pleasing eyers, good depth of chest and ribs extend well back. Slight slope to topline and good tailset. Sound on the move.

3rd: 2471 JONES, Mrs Sandra & JONES, Mr Andrew Germanus Makin A Point (ai)

Class 1003 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2481 OBRIEN, Mr Alan & OBRIEN, Mrs Debbie & O'BRIEN, Mi Caldewriver Cold As Ice. Athletic, sound and workmanlike and shown in good muscular condition. Well balanced with a kind and pleasing expression. Strong, well ribbed body. Good jacket and furnishings. Very classy. Reserve CC.

2nd: 2458 BLANCO, Dr Elisa & OSBORNE, Dr David Lux Vom Maibrook (Imp Ger) (Imp) Deu. Masculine and in first class muscular condition. Very pleasing balance with good ribbing which extends well back. Moved out with plenty of drive, his front action was just a shade untidy. Harsh jacket and he does show to best advantage.

3rd: 2487 SHEPHERD, Mrs Joanne Alexandra Kimmax Kallin Danny Boy Over

Class 1004 OD (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2462 DONNELLY, Mr & Mrs David Ir Sh Ch Int Ch Beechillawn Raspberry Sorbet CJW22. Presents a good outline when standing with his good head carriage and well angulated hindquarters. Gives the impression of being able to carry out a day’s work with his deep chest and good ribbing. Impressive on the move with an easy driving, true action.

2nd: 2477 MCCULLOUGH, Mrs M & MCCULLOUGH, Mr P Kimmax Kiss Ma Blackside At Beechillawn. Very smart with a kind, masculine expression. Clan neck and good shoulders. Well balanced with strong, well muscled hindquarters. Moved out well in typical fashion.

3rd: 2484 QUINN, Miss Jade Germanus Hotwyr Yindi

Class 1005 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

In my notes I wrote two obvious CC quality bitches.

1st: 2476 MCCULLOUGH, Mrs M & MCCULLOUGH, Mr P Sh Ch Kimmax Koz I Kan. Quite feminine and has a pleasing expression. Good forehand with well laid shoulders, depth of chest and she is well ribbed and they extend well back. Good coat preseted to advantage.

2nd: 2460 DONNELLY, Mr & Mrs David Sh Ch Ir Sh Ch Int Ch Beechillawn Ooh Betty. Like the winner this is a good moving bitch with some drive from the rear. Kind expression. Good clean neck and she is well boned with good feet. Well balanced and absolutely typical.

1st: 2489 SIMPSON, Mrs G Wildez Vom Holstef At Ovetil. Has quality and type and she really impressed me on the move with her easy, fluid driving action. Well ribbed body with gently sloping topline and well set tail.

Class 1008 PGB (6 Entries) Abs: 3

1st: 2463 GEARY, Mr Robert & GEARY, Mrs Amanda Germanus Hotwyr Minjarra JW. Well proportioned, feminine head with a very pleasing expression. Quite athletic and workmanlike and I can imagine her doing a day’s work in the field. Has some breadth over the loin and hips. Strong, well angulated hindquarters.

2nd: 2485 QUINN, Miss Jade Germanus Miles Between Us. Another soundly made, good moving bitch who had definite drive from the rear. Clean neck and shoulders, good bone. Well balanced.

3rd: 2466 JENKINS, Mrs S L Tickencote Teach Me Tonight For Gerstenfeld JW

Class 1009 LB (7 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 2492 STAMP, Miss B & THOMAS, Mr Richard Tynsil Just One Smile. Very impressive on the move and I admired her pleasing head and kind expression. Clean neck, tight elbows and well laid shoulders. Good ribbing. Well angulated.

2nd: 2465 HILLIS, Miss Margaret Bareve Best By Magic AW. Beautifully balanced and typey, quite workmanlike and shown in very good muscle tone. Harsh coat. Good head proportions and lively expression. Moved well.

3rd: 2457 CLEMENTS, Miss Elizabeth Lower Dee Willow

Class 1010 OB (5 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 2478 MORRIS, Miss S & EVANS, Mr Jonathan Bareve By Kind Permission. CC & BOB. Shown in first class muscular condition with a dense, harsh coat. Feminine head and expression. Excellent forehand with depth of chest and very good ribs. Strong loin. Some breadth over the hips and strong, well angulated hindquarters. Moved out well covering a lot of ground with obvious drive from the rear.

2nd: 2467 JOHNSTON, Mr Paul & JOHNSTON, Mrs Linda & JOHNSTON Sh Ch Glenquin Athena. Reserve CC. Another who impresses on the move and she too was in great form and condition. Good forehand with nicely knuckled feet and good bone. Well bodied with a gently sloping topline and well set tail. Has lots of quality.

3rd: 2459 DONNELLY, Mr & Mrs David Ir Sh Ch Kimmax Who Kares Wins JW
