PD (1,0)

1. Mercer’s Larkharbour Ducati. Promising 9 mth old youngster. He appealed for overall type, presented a sturdy, well proportioned outline and carries very good bone. Muscular neck of good length to balance, firm topline, super rib for age and tail set on high. Masculine head with pleasing breadth to skull, good proportions and planes and correct dentition. Nice layback of shoulder, elbows close to the body and stands true in front. Covers the ground on the go around and true when coming towards. Reserve Best Dog and Best Puppy.

PGD (1,0)

1. Bull’s Evrussky Black Warrior at Gunnerbears (AI). Impressive 18 mth old who greatly appealed and was good to go over. Strongly built and presented a super outline with powerful neck of good length, firm topline with withers clearly defined, good depth to chest, excellent ribbing, short well-muscled loin and tail set on well. Quality head of good proportions, parallel planes, moderate stop, dark expressive eyes and powerful muzzle. Good angles front and rear and he stands true in front. Free, easy action with good ground coverage. Best Dog.

LD (1,0)

1. Lynnyk’s Zeus Black Legion. 16 mth old with muscular neck of good length, firm topline but he has a tad more length, ribbed well back, deep brisket and tail good for both set and carriage. Pleasing head with good breadth to his flat skull, expressive oval-shaped eyes, strength to muzzle and good dentition. Elbows could be closer to the body and this reflects on the move when coming towards. Moves out well enough on the go around and true when going away. Very good texture to coat.

VD (1,0)

1. Bem’s Zhitel Solntsa S Zolotogo Grada. 8 yr old presented in good condition and carrying excellent bone. Powerful neck, firm level topline, chest of good depth, well sprung ribs and tail of good set. Masculine head and expression with flat skull which is moderately broad, dark oval-shaped eyes set wide apart and excellent dentition. He was rather lethargic when gaiting so really didn’t show the best of himself.

1. Mercer’s Dromnagus Hit Me with Your Best Shot NAF TAF. 7 mth old pup who shows much promise. I thought her a good type and she is so good in outline with muscular neck of good length to balance, level back, ribbing developing well for age and carried well back, short loin and tail good for set and carriage. Feminine head of pleasing proportions and planes, moderate stop, expressive eyes and scissor bite. Shoulders well laid, elbows close to the sides and nice straight forelegs. Really moves out well when viewed in profile.

2. Mercer’s Dromnagus Hypnotic Poison NAF TAF. This 7 mth old also has plenty to like. Pleasing outline, being almost square; powerful neck, firm topline, ribcage carried well back and broad short loin but tail somewhat tighter than the ideal, Flat skull of moderate breadth, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, strength to muzzle and good dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear and moves out well but winner had the edge. Well handled.

1. Bull’s Larkharbour Kawasaki at Gunnerbears. Two most promising 9 mth old pups challenged here who turned out to be littermates. This girl came out on top, appealing for type and size and presenting a lovely balanced outline with powerful neck, firm straight topline, deep brisket, short loin and tail set on high. Feminine head with moderate breadth to her flat skull, good proportions and planes, expressive eyes of good placement and correct dentition. Nice shoulder layback and stands straight in front on rounded feet. On the move she gaited freely on the down and back and extended well on the go around with good carriage. Coat texture developing nicely.

2. Mercer’s Larkharbour Moriwaki. This girl also has plenty to like. She is slightly heavier all through than 1. Pleasing outline with correct length of neck to balance, firm level back, good length to ribcage and nice short loin but tail set not quite that of winner. Nicely proportioned head with flat skull, rounded cheekbones and powerful muzzle. Carrying good bone, her angles pleased both front and rear and she stands well naturally in front. Covers the ground when gaiting. Coat texture tad softer right now but only a youngster.

1. Williams’ Evrussky Black Widow (AI). Just coming up to 18 mths, this girl won this class quite comfortably for me. Carrying excellent bone, she is a super type and scored in outline too. Powerful neck of good length to give balance, level back, good depth to chest, excellent ribbing, short well-muscled loin and tail good for set and carriage. Quality headpiece; feminine yet powerful with good proportions and planes, super eye and correct dentition. Well made both front and rear and she stands true in front with very good forechest. Sound, free action and really moves out on the go around. Reserve Best Bitch.

2. Baldwin’s Lintweed Black Zamara. 17 mth old who presented a pleasing outline with muscular neck of good length, firm level topline and tail of good set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head with flat skull, oval-shaped eyes and scissor bite. Right now she lacks the spring of rib I was looking for and she needs to fill out in front, hopefully this will come with time. Moving well enough when viewed in profile but was out-moved by 1 here today.

1. Williams’ Proud of Being Catwomen at Evrussky (Imp Ukr). Hefty 2 yr old girl carrying very good bone. She pleased in outline with neck of correct length, firm topline, deep brisket, ribs carried well back and muscular short loin. Nicely proportioned head with flat skull, rounded cheekbones, expressive oval-shaped eyes, powerful muzzle and good dentition. She is somewhat heavier over the shoulder and this reflects when coming towards and also on the go around. Very well handled.

1. Newton’s Zaznoba Nadezhdinoi Poljany at Lintweed (Imp Rus). 3 yr old who won this class with some room to spare. She was good to go over and pleased in outline with powerful neck of correct length to balance, firm topline with defined withers, excellent ribbing, short well-muscled loin and tail set on high. Super head with strength all through yet retaining femininity; good proportions and planes and scissor bite. Good angles both front and rear and she stands true in front with a lovely forechest. Covers the ground with good carriage.

2. Norton & Thomas’ Kalaslane Judge Judy at Carantana (IKC). 6 yr old who presented a quite different outline to the winner being somewhat longer cast and not so firm in topline. She carries good bone and has a moderately long neck and good depth to brisket. Well proportioned feminine head with flat skull of moderate breadth, oval-shaped eyes of good colour and scissor bite. Standing nice and straight in front and she moved well enough all through but winner had the edge.

OB (3,1)

1. Williams’ Proud of Being Ava Gardner at Evrussky (imp). Two quite different bitches competed here with this 6 yr old being my winner. Quality girl who was beautifully presented and so well handled here. I thought her so good for type and she was a delight to go over. Powerful neck of correct length to give balance, firm level back, excellent ribbing, deep brisket, short in the couplings, muscular rump and tail set on high and of good carriage. Super head with flat skull, parallel planes, dark expressive eyes which are placed well apart, ears set on high, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear and stands straight in front with well developed forechest. Moves out so well on the go around and uses herself as she goes. Best Bitch & BOB.

2. Lynnyk’s Holodnaya Zhara Vivat! Poltava (Imp Ukr). 3 yr old who pleased for bone and is nicely balanced with muscular neck, level topline with defined withers, well sprung ribs, short broad loin and tail set on well. Feminine head of good proportions, flat skull and pleasing eye and ear. I would like to see more development of forechest but she moved out well when viewed in profile, although couldn’t quite match action of winner. Good quality coat. Well handled.

1. Newton’s Lintweed Black Beryl. 7 yr old who presents a good outline and carries very nice bone. Neck of correct length to provide balance, well defined withers, level back, good ribbing, muscular loin and tail set on high with acceptable carriage. Quality head with flat skull of moderate breadth, rounded cheekbones, good proportions and planes, expressive eyes, ears set on high and good dentition. She scored in front assembly, standing straight with elbows close to the body and a good forechest. Really moves out on the go around. Best Veteran.

2. Norton & Thomas’ Aveyrew Hot Gossip at Carantana. Coming up to 8 yrs, I thought this girl very nice when standing, presenting a well balanced outline with powerful neck, firm level topline, deep brisket and tail set on high. Feminine headpiece with good proportions, dark oval-shaped eyes which are placed wide apart and pendant ears set on high. Pleasing angulation front and rear but would like to see a little more forechest. Unfortunately she was rather lethargic when gaiting and therefore didn’t help her cause. Good quality coat.
