1. Makey’s Gairside Special Edition. 4 yr old who pleased for overall type and size and presented a well balanced outline. Super neck, firm level topline, good length to ribcage, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Masculine head of good proportions, expressive oval-shaped eyes and leathers of good length and correct set. Nice layback of shoulder, elbows close to the body and stands straight in front with good forechest. Moves true when coming towards but could be firmer going away.

1. Makey’s Multi Ch Gairside Good Lord JW ShCM ShCEx CW19. Two nice dogs challenged here and my winner was this 9 yr old. He appealed for type and presented such a good outline with strong neck of good length, firm topline, excellent rib and tail correct for both set and carriage. Quality head of good proportions, elongated skull, expressive eyes and leathers set on just right. Goes so well on the go around with good carriage and true when coming towards and in terrific condition considering his years. Good texture to coat and well handled. Best Dog, BOB and Best Veteran.

2. Bailey & Yates’ Ch/Ir Ch Tarmachan Ice Cool. 7 yr old who is quite different to the winner and was close up here. All male and carrying such good bone. Muscular neck, firm topline, deep brisket, solid loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Masculine head with very good eye and ear but not quite length of muzzle of 1. Impressive front assembly with excellent layback of shoulder, elbows held close to the body, straight forelegs and prominent forechest. Gaiting freely when viewed in profile and accurate when coming towards. Quality coat. Reserve Best Dog.

1. Bailey & Yates’ Wilmit Mirabelle for Bonevon.19 mth old who I thought most promising. An excellent type and so good in outline with neck of good length, firm topline, muscular loin and tail set on high and of good carriage. Feminine head and expression with elongated skull, good length to muzzle and leathers set on low. Good angles front and rear and stands on good feet. She is quite something on the go around and has excellent carriage and also impressed with her strong, driving rear. Good coat. Reserve Best Bitch.

1. Bailey’s Gairside Special Event for Boneveon. Soundly constructed 4 yr old who was good to go over. Neck of good length, level back, deep brisket and tail set on well. Well proportioned head with feminine expression; oval-shaped eyes and leathers set on low. Well laid shoulders, elbows close to the chest, standing nice and straight with prominent forechest. Moves out freely on the go around and true when coming at you. Well handled, Best Bitch.

2. Makey’s Gairside Special Interest. 4 yr old who turned out to be the litter sister to the winner. Another with lots to like but she presents a quite different outline having a tad more length of body and not quite the leg length of 1. Strong neck of good length, firm level topline, pleasing rib, well-muscled loin and tail set on well. Feminine head with correct skull, good length to muzzle and excellent leathers. She stands well in front although coming towards she wasn’t as accurate as her sister, however she moved out well when viewed in profile. Good coat.
